[CLOSED] Red Sensation Final [AOKP B20/CM9 CDMA+GSM/Gummy 0.6.6]

Hello Everyone, My name is Qasim Zia and i recently started theming. I did some ports for T-Mobile SGS II and and made one theme on my own for it. Since I got this phone I didn't feel like doing anything to it becuase I liked the stock look but like everyone else I get sick of the same look as well so decided to do some work on it since I was off from work today.
***[01.24.2012]***Fixed the issue in mms.apk and gave it a final touch. I think this project is pretty much complete and will only be updated when new AOKP build is out. Thanks to all who have supported me and left feedback. Enjoy!!!***
***[01.23.2012]***Themed camera and Gallery. Edited a lot of images in framework and other system apps to make things cleaner. Htc refelective softkeys (Thanks to atticus182). It is only availible for AOKP right now and will be getting support for CM9 and Gummy ONLY. Axiom and Bigxie will no longer be supported due to the low numbers of downloads. ***[01.20.2012]***Made some changes in framework(red dividers and all), made status bar icons a little lighter, themed phone.apk, LatimIME.apk (popup keys are red) , and Launcher2.apk and probably more that i forgot. Enjoy!!!***
***[01.14.2012]***Redid the entire framework and systemUI.apk (things should be much cleaner now), themed clock widget, geniewidget, google search widget, power control widget, themed mms.apk (very sexy ), new icons for themed apps (very very sexy...lol)...Support for other roms is coming soon so stay tuned ***
***[01.10.2012]***Black popup menus, themed browse.apk, started theming mms.apk, added some more red into settings.apk, black n red google search bar widget, black notification and toggles background and some minor changes in framewok. Would love the red theme!

Will be interested to see how it looks once its more complete,
As it stands now, it looks a tad tacky with the mix of ICS blue and the red.

Version V1.0 would be up by Friday which would include fully themed framework, dailer and settings and probably new status bar icons if i have more time to play around with it

Just flashed this, and it breaks the MusixFix+Lockscreen mod by Zaphod over rootz way, just FYI out there. re-flashed it and now have both working perfectly, and couldn't be happier. Can't wait for the finished version!

Sweet. Anything special I should do before flashing this? (aside from a nandroid, of course!)
EDIT: Flashed it - love it, except for the new battery icon - the charging animation is cool, but not being able to see the % of charge while charging hurts.
Again, flashing this will broke my other mods, and this time reflashing my other mod (lockscreen mod) broke this one (took out half the theming, knocked it back to .6)... aside from the battery, looks great so far though! Happily going without the other mod for now, even though it sort of jacked up my lock screen. =)
I have Nova Launcher, so that may be why the app drawer isn't red, or the sliding 'which screen am i on' indicator is blue, or those aren't done yet, not sure. Doesn't matter; love mod.

And honestly, the pre-version 1 battery was nicer, but that's only my opinion. The off-charger isn't bad, I did like the older one better... the charging without showing a current % is the one that hurt. =)

Thanks for this! I was wondering if you could update to build 14? I really want the LTE toggle in build 14 but this theme removes the toggle.

Ma bad dude, been very busy but i will make u a patch for that mod when i get a chance and i changed the battery mod for u

Unfortunately i would have to close this project due to lack of feedback...i have already spent so much time on this and dont want to continue spending time on a project that not many people are interested in

FYI... It does not WORK For Me? It eliminates the Notification bar all toghther, can you fix this. I love the theme! Im using 1.0.0 Now with No Problems! Help Please. I Await Your Advice.

Here you have my first official ROM for the Galaxy Nexus. Let me first say that this rom was made 80% for me and 20% for you, so please don't ask for drastic/ridiculous changes. It is intended to be closer to stock, but with minimalistic themeing and just the right amount of tweaks (IMO). All included system/Gapps have been inverted, thanks to Travp624 (find him on Twitter @travp624), and they look fantastic. Almost all of the "holo" theme has been removed and replaced with white/black. It is based off of Peter Alfonso's 2/6 Bugless Beast nightly which includes 4.0.4 proprietaries. I have been using it for some time now and really love it, I hope you enjoy it too!
Normal disclaimer about how flashing a rom can be dangerous for your phone and such. Please always perform a backup before flashing any of my work (or anything really). If you some how mess up your phone it's your fault, not mine. You are not allowed to sue me, all you'd get would be student loans anyways.​

Can someone post a shot of the Settings menu? Is it standard or blacked out background as well? Thanks....looking good.

Thanks a lot for your rom. Works good so far. I've noticed the speaker kinda gets hot when having a phone call. Hmmm don't remember having that issue before. Anyone else? Anyway can u please use the ics cyan color for the notification bar icons ? Or a zip for others like me that love that color . Thanks again bro. Coffee or a beer on ur way soon

As pictured above, the settings menu also has the holo theme removed and uses the standard black as with all the other apps.

Hmm, not sure I have noticed this and I have no idea what would be causing that if it is in fact different from other roms. Yup, I can put together a zip with the stock status bar icons. Do you also want the notification pulldown to be stock colored as well or just the status bar icons? And my 21st is on Monday, so let's make it a beer

rom looks great, im waiting for the market fix before i install. i just have a few questions. does the battery icon have setting like in gummy where you can add the battery with percentage or change to circle battery or the blue bar if not that would be great to have because people have different preferences. also are the phone,people, and messaging themed black? post a pic please. also is there a way to change the bottom buttons? thanks in advance for listening.

It does not have the different battery settings sorry, just the flashable for the MIUI battery. Yes, all system/Gapps (excluding Talk, which is being a little ***** haha) have been themed dark. You can find screenshots of them HERE with some very minor changes to 1-2 of them. This is the guy I worked with to get them in the rom.
Yes, changing the navigation bar icons is very easy. But since I'm sure there will be plenty of people who want them changed and I can't take the time to do them each individually, I will probably just post a tutorial for those who would like to do so.

OP updated. Fixed some icons that changed when lowering the dpi to 240 also added 100% and 50% transparent status bars as extras.

Probably a dumb question but I haven't slept yet and am on pain pulls but can I use this on jelly bomb? Love the room hate the blue theme

A Few Omega MODS​
Hi All, CarlM34 here .......My third thread to date and I thought I would do something for my own ROM (Omega Sammy 4.1.2)....MOST of the mods here have been done by myself and others I have found and work with most Sammy based JB 4.1.2 ROMS. At the moment there are not that many MOD's but will add more as and when I have the time.:good:​
Although these have only been tested on Omega (LSW) on my own device, I would imagine they should be compatible with most bases and most Sammy based ROM's....However I would not advise they be flashed on heavily modded ROM's already such as Biftor and Alliance (it may cause issues).​
This is still very much a work in progress and I will add more as time goes on!​
If anyone wants to share any mods you are more than welcome to do so and I will add them to the OP with the link and credit to the creator.​

Its a thought...........I still have a few bits I am working on........like leaving the toggles at the top and also putting a picture in drop down also.....The images I have currently added are for the Transparent Dropdown Botton toggles....so watch this space. Will get there in the end....I also want to do a few combo's also, so users don't need to flash multiple .zips...........like bottom toggles with trasparent status bar blah blah blah:cyclops:
And also will be thinking about different text colours for the notifications also...
Don't really have that much time on my hands to concentrate on all of this....it's really much of a hobby to me....an enjoyable one though

Have you modded the 'popup' frames we get on the Sammy ROMs yet? You can add just about anything to these .9's and have some fun with stretching them too. I'll post a pic tonight of some fun ways to use the 'stretch' capability of the 9 patch pngs. (don't have them handy at work)

Once theme is flashed all the mods should show as themed.....the mods are .xml changes other than the flashable images......let me know if you have any probs:good:

First off I have to thank all the hard working creative mind here on XDA! I especially have to thank Tdunham for his contribution to keeping the E4GT alive and kicking! Without his AIO mods my mod wouldn't exist! I am very new to this so go easy on me. I will be adding and updating this. Now to what this mod offers;
It is meant to work with TD's AIO mods, or without if you choose. I absolutely love the control his mod, along with the 3minit mod by Gharrington, give you to customize your Theme. Thank u for the work you did on the first version and I look forward to your input on this next one! Unfortunately I'm having some issues with dev-host right now. I have uploaded the file 3 times and it will finish 100% then dissappear, no where to be found. Going to keep trying.

Beta v2 read for play!!
Now remember this is still in Beta for the S3. Make a NANDROID BACKUP just in case!!! I did get a brief 5 minute test with a friends S3. It was running an older version Android 4.1.1 I believe. I only was able to get one flash in and had about 90% success rate with the options I picked. The main miss for me was still the dialer options? It could be the older OS or I'm just missing something? But I am pleased with most of that initial test. The boot Animations do work, but in the transfer somewhere I mixed up the files. So the boot animations that play are not really named correctly, minor issue. I think that some of the signalbars may or may not play. I picked Teal and it worked fine. Let me know people and let's make this thing BIG

Is your friend's S3 on TW? Maybe AOSP doesn't like some of these changes.

OK, so for now the best results are definitely going to be with Touch Wiz roms. I had a few more minutes with my buddies phone running older JB 4.1.2 and I had great success! Acid Blue Dialer BG worked for what I could see. The signal bar Teal and FtW worked fine. All the data arrows and icons worked. Base themes and pretty much anything frameworks worked. Sliders, toggles, and lock screen mods didn't stuck. Boot and shut down ani's both worked. What is it that people are running, TW, that needs to be compatible? Is pretty much the majority running 4.3 now? I am trying to get this going for you guys. Haven't heard to much from anyone accept genesius01,Thank you BTW. Tell me what Roms you guys are running or better yet, supply me with systemUI.apk, SecPhone.apk, SecContact, SecSettings, SecMMS, and framework-res.apk's and I can make a "Flashback" zip file for tthat fresh start of just in case something doesn't go right?

I just got my S3 back, downloading now. But what would probably help you most is to check out the Morphology portion of this ROM-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2572102... it is truly an amazing creation

Switched my phone to Wicked Sensations ROM which is TW, Android 4.3. Getting great results from Missing Link, everything I've tried so far has worked.
