for your theme it's not a png ...you got to change the xlm (systemui.apk) and the name is :
systemui/res/layout/status_bar.xml
SystemUI.apk/res/drawable-hdpi/statusbar_background.9.png

open the status_bar.xml
PHP:
<com.android.systemui.statusbar.StatusBarView android:orientation="vertical" android:background="@drawable/statusbar_background" android:focusable="true" android:descendantFocusability="afterDescendants"
look at this
PHP:
android:background="@drawable/statusbar_background"
find it on " Drawable-HDPI" folder
statusbar_background.png
or
statusbar_background.9.png
Here's a thread for people to ask and hopefully get answers from people as to where certain images are located. I thought this would be very useful for people who are learning how to theme and/or having trouble finding what images change what. I will try and update the OP with all the new images that are posted and answered, and a picture would also help very much when asking for a certain how to change a certain image.

There's about 12 images in framework-res call divider_horizontal and divider_vertical.
Anyone know about the grey area in the second picture that the arrow is pointing too?

Is this really so hard to do? Impossible mission?.... holy crap.
Look for the text color in styles and colors. Xml and change it accordingly

That happens because whoever themed it needs to edit the AndroidManifest of talk, and change it to the dark theme. whoever inverted it did not do that because editing the Talk AndroidManifest is a pain in the A%*.

try this... 480x320 is the min size
if it's too large You can move ROM logo and reduce the height keeping the width
ps... I think that using Gimp You could remove the white background and make it trasparent and You could invert the logo's color from black to white...
it will look better

Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread a little bit, but my question is kind of related to the starter. I have Omega ROM v24, removed the Lidroid mod for the toggle buttons and went back to the stock lay out. I would like to change the order of the toggle buttons.
I followed a few guides and it went okay until I found out there's no META-INF folder in the original (Omega) SystemUI.apk.
I am not skilled enough to produce a zip file for CWM, so I was wondering when I post the arrays.xml file and the original SystemUI.apk if someone would be willing to either put a META-INF in the apk or make an update zip.
There's two different arrays, one with and one without FlashLight (I'm not sure if that will work or not).
Thanks in advance.
(Had to change the xml extention to txt for uploading purposes).
