Crash is a possibility, another would be go launcher would lag and it will drain even more battery cause it has to read from memory card instead of internal memory

Right now I am on CM7 nightly with Go Launcher and every time I connect my phone to my PC and then disconnect it, all my widgets say ".......Unavailable......"(I forgot what it exactly said) Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Um its because you probably didn't dismount correctly or your phone failed to re read your sd card. If you go into settings>applications>manage applications>sd card and toggle one of your apps it should re read it like put it on the phone and then back on the sd card or vice versa
That or its your launcher needing to restart btw don't use go launcher.... colect too much data try adw or launcherpro

Search "GL to SD" app at Google Play. This app moves your games and some apps from the internal sd memory to your 32gb card- external sd card. Saves you some space.

Great app to use for all that extra data download that some games require

Is there any way to make external sd card main storage for all apps

I agree with this statement
i have 16GB internally but 64GB in a mSD. how on earth do you move game data that doesn't ask where to install to the sd card?
You can't unless you root
i have root
Search Directorybind on xda via Google a d try that
Works perfectly for me!

It moves directories, so you can choose directories of specific apps/games or for example all games by binding /sdcard/Android /obb to the external sd card.

And is it running in background?
neither work for me. the GL to SD moves data but nothing else. the games still wants to download.
the other - directorybind - says i'm not selecting a valid directory. i used the internal browser in the app. guessing because it's set to extsdcard instead of sdcard.
doesn't seem to support JB going by that

I saw a notificationof of it taking control of the root shell from time to time but idk whether it's running all the time or not.

You have to specify the correct prefix via the menu settings.

what? that applies to the assistant according to the blurb underneath it
ok decided to let the assistant do its thing and it did move the data.
shame it did it in a totally useless and just moved it to another path on the same internal space! instead of sdcard>data etc, it moved it to sdcard>external_sd > etc.
so still on the internal storage, not the actual SD
basically, this thing doesn't work on JB yet.
Sorry if this is a rather silly question. But when you insert a micro sd card into the note, does it simply make your storage space expand from the internal memory, so when you install large apps they share the memory or do you have to physically move the apps across to the card. If you know what I mean

you have to move them
Most apps install in system partition but the data of few larger apps is installed in internal memory like gameloft games or data in android folder.
You simply can not move those files to sd card. U need root access and 'movetosd' app to move system data to external MMC.

I already did .. But does that store the background in the application folder?
The wallpaper? Save it on internal memory too, either system media or really anywhere in data, when you choose the wallpaper just choose the one on /system or /data, then you can dismount sd whenever and it will stay
