Samsung music hub problem - Galaxy S III Themes and Apps

My S3 keeps opening my browser and going to www.eu.musichub/ and asking me to sign up for £9.99 per month, it does it about 20 times per day, It doesn't seem to be triggered by anything I'm doing, it seems totally random and it's really pi55ing me off.
Anyone else suffering from this?

Is this the Music Hub 3.0 (HD) app? Any chance you can grab it and upload it here?

I had this same problem, it just kept popping up randomly and it got really annoying.
The solution I came up with was to freeze the Music Hub app in Titanium backup and that has stopped it from coming up.

Thanks, does anyone know of a solution for non rooted devices? I've tried Airpush but it found nothing.

I think it's built into the APK. After all, it is meant to compete with iTunes and Google Music.
If someone can pull the Samsung Music Hub 3.0 (HD) apk from their phone or download it from Samsung Apps and upload it here, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!

Can I upload it here straight from my s3?

No, you can't.
You'll need ADB.
Plug your phone in via USB, start ADB, and then type in the following command:
Code:
adb pull /data/app/com.samsung.music-1.apk C:\Apps
* If com.samsung.music-1.apk doens't work, try com. samsung.music-2.apk
** Make sure that there's a folder named Apps in Drive C: otherwise the command will fail
Thanks!

[Q] Can someone post the APK for the samsung remote control app?

Bell Canada removed this app for some reason, and I *do* have a Samsung TV, so would find it very useful.
No one has this app?
it is in the samsung apps app, is it not in yours?
I've just downloaded it (because I can) although I have no idea where it keeps the install files?
FYI, it's called QWERTY remocon....
Also, would this thread help?

No, like I said, Bell Canada removed it for some strange reason. It does not show in our Samsung apps... actually I have nothing in there whatsoever, it is totally empty except two junk apps the phone comes with anyway.

It is not in that zip file.
If you installed it the APK should be in /system/app, which you can get to in Astro or My Files... it would be much appreciated if you could post it or PM it to me.
Today it also vanished in Europe from the samsung store.
Has anybody the apk?!
After reading this I went to my samsung app market to try to help. The app us also missing in mine too. It was there a few day before.

I installed it on my i9000, and I looked where you said it might be and it's not there, I just have the samsung apps.apk I did a search using Astro and nothing came up with the remocom.
Any other place I might look or it might be named?

Network errors means the search server is having issues or was shut down. Give it a few hours or a few days and see if it starts working again.
I've been getting it for a few days now. What music downoader is everyone using?

I have no idea m8y sorry.....did you get them from my source..?
The First/Top one..?
One suggestion if i may ..delete or rather uninstall any previous/older versions you have on your device first then do a clean install.!
I always delete old versions of anything before installing new ones, unless they have auto update..!
In my defence i must admit i have a pretty fair knowledge after a few years on IOS crapple...!!!!!
I have had my Devices a Samsung S3 phone and my Samsung Tab2 .10.1 wifi+3g for about 11 days...
So still getting to grips with all this Android stuff its very different from IOS.
OK..so try what i suggested and delete old versions first , restart Device and re-install the new versions..!
i have this version on both my Devices runnig nice and smooth.!
Hope it works for you.!:good:

How do i get that stupid app back? I just deleted it this mrng lol
Just pull the apk from some stock non-debloated ROM.
I am more interested in knowing what system checks it runs before letting you rent/watch/download movies. I restored mine from TiB and when I launch it, it opens, circles and the opens again and cirles again. Never force closes or fully loads up. Almost like an app bootloop if you catch my drift.
In my Googling I found that in the older Vibrant, Media Hub would run a series of system checks before it would let you watch anything. I am wondering what it checks for (probably Root like Google Movies and Vudu) but what else? I have always just deleted it but for some reason this time I froze it.

I wonder if this will be something we can download and transfer to another device, or stream only.
Here's the apk guys. Just copy it to /ssystem/app/ and change the permissions to match other files in the same folder.
Also I don't know if it will work but I know paid version of SU lets you temp unroot. I think ota rootkeeper does as well.
So do I get to keep the movie or just watchable on that day?

You should still be able to download it if you had it in the past. Look under My apps > All
I couldn't find it on the Play Store when I searched using the Play app. I Googled "Flash Player 11 apk" (from my phone) and saw the link to it on the web Play store. Hit the link, and chose to open it with the Play Store app rather than the Web and it came up fine. Was able to install it from there, but just searching for it on the phone in the Play store yielded no results. Weird.
BTW, still on Rooted Stock 4.0
In case anyone wants the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adobe.flashplayer&hl=en
Although as others have stated, it is no longer supported by Adobe and active development has ceased in hopes HTML5 takes off.
Sort of on this subject. Samsung Apps store (the webpage) just removed all references to T999 and anything but i9300. There was a free app that is listed for the T999, and you can even find it in google cache, but no US devices are supported by the store.

Are you on 4.0 still or are you running a 4.1 rom? 4.0 should still let you install, but since they have stopped support for anything beyond 4.0, it will give you the incompatible device error. Either way, if you're looking for the .apk and are on 4.1 I've attached it to this post.

No video sharing on Group Play 4.3 updated?

So I updated my mother's Note 2 with 4.3. The phone is stock and everything, my problem is and made real angry is that I wanted to show off some of the new feature that it has. So went to group play app to do the video sharing, but when I see, there isn't any video sharing to my surprise!!! What happen? I saw all those demo showing off the video sharing option with a Note 3 and a Note 2!
I was testing that out (half heartedly) with my girls GN3 and my newly OTA'd GN2 and couldn't get them to detect with the scan... just off work so I'll try a few more things and see if I can get anywhere
Edit:
So far no dice... double checked device status and Knox counter... everything is good. I did turn on my phone afterwards and noticed several app updates (most were for newer 4.3 apps) but not for group play or Samsung link...
As of right now I wasn't able to get my girls GN3 and my GN2 to recognize each other through any of the apps when referring to videos... (we also have a Samsung TV but no dongle yet)... was able to get music to play on both devices though...
Some things that I've noticed:
1. Her group play app is about half the size of mine (even though she has the GN3 and I'm on the GN2)
2. Her Group Play app is actually an older version than mine
3. Her Group Play app has an option of video sharing where mine doesnt... I only have music/documents/etc... but no video tab to share
Really the whole thing makes no sense lol... but ill continue looking around for answers... pretty stumped at this point as, like I said, they sync for music, just not videos
Something tells me the solution could be as simple as a setting, as boring as waiting for the app to update, or as complex as requiring a dev to manipulate resolution errors/compatibility issues etc and creating a work around... really no idea at this point

Post some screen shots of the app running... I mean even if I install it, how does the app work? Will it allow me to connect to the note 3? Ultimately I dont know why the new update doesnt have these options built in? Dont really care for 3rd party apps either

This apk doesnt run as such and wont appear in your app drawer. It seems to act as more of a plugin for group play.
Seems silly to me to. I dont see why it cant be part of the app.
Did you bother to try this in the end?
If you dont trust my file you can always download a stock N3 firmware and rip the apk from that yourself

Hey, thanks. Tried it but It won't install... pretty sure that it's because of non root stock. The question remains if a rooted phone would this work?

My phone is rooted. You could try placing it in system/apps and changing permissions to rw-r-r

The app is visible in the app drawer. The rom maker took out this app which needs to go in system app and change permission. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5jjiqqiw4rhmkmk/SecVideoList.apk

The app you have added is not the one required to make group play video sharing work. That one is part of the stock video player app.

I know. You were saying it doesn't appear in the app drawer. So you need this for it to appear. I like having the app in the app drawer instead going to the gallery which takes more time.

As far as i can tell it does not effect the streaming to tv function as this worked for me both with and without the share video apk.
Hi, do you guys have any idea about this? I'm trying to make the bluetooth shortcut to work but it says this app is not installed. I didn't have this problem on 4.1.2 version.now I'm on 4.3 not rooted. Thank you.

Okay after playing around and trying to figure out how to do this I find out how. You need a smart TV that's connected to your home network. That can recognize media files from your phone. Like a media server. I have a Sony TV so I went to settings turned on near by devices and allowed my TV to look in my phone. Then go to wherever on your TV to find the media connection and browse from your TV.
