Galaxy Nexus White Housing

Hey guys, has anyone seen white housing OEM parts floating around the web for purchase? Its extremely easy to pop the titanium housing off, and I, personally would love to have the ability to change the two out whenever I'd like. The titanium housing is easy to find which is a plus, but I'd still like white just for kicks.

I've only seen the white OEM battery backdoor but I'd imagine the casing will start to go around soon. The best part about this, after all, is the face-plate of the white phone is left as black.

I've been scouring eBay for this, nothing yet!
Can't wait to turn my nexus white, and cover my extended battery cover in white carbon vinyl wrap, should look amazing!

I've been looking for this too. Hopefully it won't be too long from now. I'm sure they know that some of the users may need the white housing,

this is one of the rare cases where the original color of the phone looks 10 time better than the white one... im just saying... i love the titanium.... the white just doesnt sit right with me... plus it isnt going to get its updates directly from google... is u have the gsm titanium one... id say stick with it... just saying

We're just looking to swap the housing over, so we will still have the titanium one, just in a fancy new suit
I'm torn between the two colours, and really just want some variation!

Ugh I want a white one too. And with only the white door available for sale on Ebay its like the people are taunting and teasing us about not being able to have it.

I'm just saying. Lol.

I'm from Singapore and we're the first country to get the white galaxy nexus. I still went with the titanium one as imo the white is horrendous looking.

Yeah, it would be different if the glass was white too. But it's not. Oh well. It would be nice to change its clothes every now and then.

You would still get the updates directly from google, noting is changed on it except the housing, all hardware and software are the same.

say what???? the back cover and the body for 9.98?? fake or what man?? other threads people are buying for more than 30. anyone can prove whether this is legit?

It's still being bid on. The price will probably increase by quite a lot, still.

The things he sells in other colors are normal cases
If he's selling the titanium ones though it's a question of time the white housing arrives to eBay.

Before I go to bed, I wanna create this thread before I completely forget.
If anyone has access to 2 S3's of each color, can you put on the white cover onto a blue S3 and take pictures?
Really curious to see how it would look.

yeah youre probably right. Im trying to visualize what it looks like in my head, especially after checking out that carbon fiber cover review a couple threads down.
But that black cover on blue looks real good.
Might have to grab one.

Nice post. I like it. I ordered the white carbon fiber while I had my white s3 but have since swapped it for the blue. I may just use it now. Looks good imho.

If you have a white, the pebble blue folio case doesn't look too bad. I don't know how I feel about white on the blue though.

Well overseas they're already taking pre-orders for the black S3...I got my white S3 about 27 days ago...is there ANY way to return the white S3 for the black S3 whenever it comes out in the USA, that doesn't involve buying it outright or adding a line to my account? Yes, its that serious...

I'm rather ticked off about the news personally. Had I known Sammy was going to release a Black GSIII I would've waited rather the buying a Pebble 'Purple'

The black S3 to me is a huge deal...I have an obsession with black technology...my laptop is black, I bought the Beats headphones in black, I bought the GNex, I bought the Droid Razr in black, I'm getting the Nexus 7 Friday because its the ish and its black, I bought the black Xbox, my TV is black (who's isn't)...My phone holsters are all black...I just like having everything uniform...and I hate that my phone is off and there's a huge black rectangle in the middle of it...I prefer darker backgrounds and themes but they look stupid with the white phone...etc...I was pissed when I bought the Droid Razr and three months later the Razr Maxx came out...feeling the same kinda way with this white phone and only a few months later the black one is scheduled to release...its a personal preference of mine...I have no problems with my phone, I just prefer the black and with the glossy finish it's gonna look great imo

Black is always nice. Screams sexy. All colors except the blue are nice. The red is a nice shade. Its like classy escort red, and not ***** red. The white is pure white and not some almost white color. And then there is the blue... its okay blue, almost looks grey though. My ex has the one x in grey and I always complained about how ugly grey is on phone. But that's just me. Lol. On a side note I love how the touch buttons fade away and are not visible like on all the other android phones. Nice touch Samsung.

looks like you would have to buy a whole new digitizer + screen + whatever else is attached to the front in black to change it.

I have the blue and I don't see how it ever looks grey. What angle are you looking at it to see grey? Only colours I see are blue head on, black or purpleish on the right angle.
EDIT: Okay, the back at certain angles can take on a grey tone but I always have my case covering the back (which is also blue) so I never notice that. I don't really like the backplate colour and wish it was the same as the front.

I, for one, am plenty happy with the blue. But that metallic black does look rather sexy if I do say so myself...

I'm sitting here needing a new digitizer/screen.... Probably just going to snag a black one since I have to wait until I have the 300 dollars for a new one anyways. I'll post results when this happens, should look interesting.

I also read somewhere (when researching a trim replacement after dropping and chipping the trim on my s3) that its not worth getting into bc the screen is glued to the front trim

Case-mate POP on pebble blue desirable

Well, im going to buy case-mate pop for my blue s3, but neither in several stores and case pics threat on xda i haven't found how it looks like in diffrent colour versions... So if you using this case on blue s3 - i would be glad if you'd post a photo of it.
Or maby you saw a blue s3 in that case? Share your thoughts!

Black ear phones?

I got the Note 7 at Best Buy yesterday. It's great so far. However, the earphones in the box are black instead of white. I have the Verizon version of the Note 7. It's no big deal really unless they sold me a phone that was used . Anyone else get black ear phones? Just curious.....

You sure they are black, when I bought mine I thought they were black too but it was just the case, once I open the case they were white.
