Boot into recovery ( Vol Down + Power ), select recovery. Then select flash zip from sd card. Select the Radio .zip that you will have on your microSD card, and that's it.
I think you can install rom manager from market on rooted desire. Rommanager can install clockwok recovery.

[request] can't flash radio

Hey guys,
I downloaded the latest radio for Desire, I tried to flash it via cwm recovery, but for some reason I can't
How I did it:
1. Download radio zip and place in root of sd
2. Boot into recovery
3. Apply zip from sd, choose zip (toggled verification)
4. Selected the latest radio.zip and clicked yes
What happens after that is :
A message appears and disappears quickly and the screen comes back to cwm recovery's home screen.
Phone boots fine, but radio version is still unchanged.
Htc Desire, S-On, stock hboot 0.93.
Rom: RCMix S v1.3 A2SD+
Could someone post a link to the latest radio along with the MD5 sum, or have any clue what the issue could be here.
Thanks
Jackie

You can flash it with the rom manager app too.
I think it's easier and faster. In the rom manager use Install Rom from Sd and choose the radio file. Then your desire reboot and install it automatically.

Do I select "install rom from sd card" to flash the radio?
Also just to be extra sure, I'd appreciate the confirmed md5 sum of the latest radio.
Thanks

do u have S-OFF if so use this tool

download the radio u need and unzip http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=687464
load android flasher up tick radio and select begin and find ur downloaded radio and select ok and leave ur device alone do not touch whilst it is flashing
it will reboot ur device into fastboot and on the right side show a bar like it loading once it done it will reboot and load the device
ps u need to have custom driver install heres the link http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.p...driver_install
hope this helps ps i take no responcability if u brick ur device
i have same problem.
As far as I know, it's not possible to flash the radio with 3.0.x.x yet. Downgrade to 2.5.0.7, install radio.zip, update again - or just use the Android Flasher 1.7.5 - works like a charm.
Hope it helps!

Open archive using any program that handles .zip, and you should find a meta inf folder and radio.img, if these both are present you have a flashable radio

Stuck on unrevoked "rebooting into recovery"

My DINC is latest Gingerbread 2.3.4.
I'm trying to get rid of the awful 'low memory' problems that I'm having on a daily basis.
I'm following this XDA guide
[HOW TO] Fix the "Low on space" problem (in plain English)
The PC drivers got installed fine.
But when I run unrevoked 3.22 it gets stuck on 'Rebooting into recovery'. At that point the phone shows the screen: ClockworkMod Recovery v5.0.2.0 (the screen has 9 selectable options in blue text). I can select the first option 'reboot system now' and the phone seems untouched. I've tried it a few times but keep running into the same problem.
Any ideas??
If you're in Recovery (oh that sounds so rude lol) press the optical button to select options. The power button functions as the back button while in recovery.

Trying to be delicate you're done! you now can download this file from androidsu (removed for it being junk) and then put it on to your SD card and flash it by going to install zip from SD and then find this file and say yes to flash. It will flash the superuser binary and the application effectively rooting your phone. you may also want to flash the s-off tool from unrevoked called unrevoked forever from here to give you the ability to flash alternate radios or splash screens or whatever you decide to!

I'm done? Sorry but I'm a bit confused - The instructions say in the last step:
-Once it's done, unplug your phone and ensure that a "Superuser Permissions" application is inside your app drawer.
Shouldn't I be seeing a new app named 'superuser permissions'? Since there's no app with that name I assumed unrevoked did not complete it's process.
Can I somehow verify that unrevoked was successful?
The fact that it has flashed clockwork is success enough, I know you want to be thorough but I have done this with my own phone as well as a friend's with perfect success of rooting the phone. My Inc now runs ics with perfect ease after completing the process you have. And trust me, the hardest part is behind you. If you download the files I cited above then you will flash them both using your new recovery then you will be set to do endless nods to your phone. My advice though before flashing anything to your phone is to check the Md5 carefully to male sure you don't flash corrupted files to your phone

u can verify by going to google play and download root checker or download whatever app that need root to function.
as for superuser app, sometimes that app just didn't show, in order for it to show is you have to manually flash it in clockworkmod recovery, just like nschiwy say. its actually fine to do that so don't be worried , as a precaution cek the MD5 to make sure you dont flash a bad zip file.

here's the link http://goo.im/superuser/
I have a bad situation here - my DINC is now stuck rebooting over and over into the white startup screen.
Here's what I did -
I copied to my SD card the 3.1.3 zip file that nschiwy linked in his post. Then I did this:
6.) Power down, then go back to hboot. Use the volume keys to select "Recovery", press power button to select and enter Clockwork. Now select "Install zip from SD card", then "Choose zip from SD card", then navigate to the Superuser zip you placed on the card in step 3. Select and load it. (NOTE: For those that don't typically load zips directly in CWM, use the trackpad button to make selections in CWM, the power button brings you back one menu.)
All this went fine. I used the Recovery command 'power off'. But then when I powered up it now is stuck in reboot. I did flash again from the zip file on the SD card, but same problem.
I see the troubleshooting tips posted here (I will copy it below). Pulling the battery didn't help. And I can't seem to reflash from the unrevoked app because my DINC just keeps boot-cycling...
What shoudl I do??
My phone keeps rebooting over and over and I can't do anything!
Pull out the battery, wait for 15 seconds, and put it back in and turn the phone back on. If it still keeps rebooting, pull out/re-insert the battery again, go into hboot (see above answer) and try the following steps. You can stop as soon as one of them works!
1. Restore a backup that you made in a previous step (if you have one).
2. Reflash the .img file from Step #8.
3. Flash the .img file here: http://dinc.does-it.net/wildstang83_...2_11232011.zip (note: this one will take you back to stock, so you'll have to start the guide over).

[Q] stuck after installing firmware

i flashed new firmware to my htc one m8
I got into recovery and changed the name firmware file.
but now in the recovery it doesn't recognize my internal storage, kind of. it says 0 mb.
And when I try via adb to push a file to it it fails. (adb push filename.zip /sdcard/)
so it seems like i only have the external card now working.
what can I do?
I'm currently in the stage where i have the firmware file in the right name and it keeps asking me to update, if i remove the external card, i can get into recovery change the name, and then i see it won't read the internal storage like i wrote up here.
but after I change the name i can get into fastboot mode.
I currently have recovery mode - twrp 2.8.0.3
p.s I think my internal storage does work, cause i can go into recovery mode(twrp), my external_sd was formmated
before i used to update the firmware, so it has nothing except for that file
You're not flashing the firmware through recovery, are you?
No, i flashed, with the guide here, via an external card, changing the name of the firnware so the hboot would recognize it.. and update it

What do u think?
Do u have any suggestions?

I have TWRP 2.8.0.6. You can download TWRP manager from Play Store, it has a list of TWRP versions you can install. The app installs them too. Everytime I used the app to install it, it says it failed but it actually works, just install, then say ok to the failed install pop up and reboot into recovery and it'll be there.
Edit: As soon as the firmware has flashed successfully, boot up and delete the firmware file off of your external SD card so it doesn't keep asking you to update.

I have no OS now.
I need to download it, and flash it via fastboot. I'm wondering if that's the problem that the internal storage is giving me these problems or it has nothing to do with it.
Does a different firmware require different twrp versions?

Not as far as I know. Your best bet man is probably to download an RUU and just flash that through fastboot or the external sd card method. Then after that, flash the TWRP then put a ROM zip on your phone and flash that way.

No, an RUU is a complete system install. Completely stock with the exception of some RUUs contain root. But it will wipe everything on your phone, all your personal data and what not.

Some manufacturers will restore stock recovery if you reboot device after you Odin a custom recovery.
Try Odin > (uncheck "reboot") TWRP
then vol down + home + power when screen goes black, keep holding power and home button but slide your finger to volume up. It should boot into TWRP

You should have put SuperSu before into your device storage, allow modification when twrp ask you to and then install SuperSu. Installing SuperSu will take you out of the bootloop. Installing only twrp and allowing modifications always gets you to bootloop until you install SuperSu.
