My wife is looking for an app that detects the unborn fetus's heartbeat. Unfortunately, we've not yet been able to find one. So my wife wanted me to post and ask everyone here if anyone knew of an app that works for this purpose. Thank you in advance...

You could try "instant heart rate" maybe? Instead of using finger use her belly.

With the EKG or acoustic sensors going where? Constantly connected to her stomach?

I wouldn't use the phone to do that. Who knows how much radiation really comes from our phone. I read a report stating guys can go sterile from keeping a phone in their front pocket. The report may have been hyped but I would play it safe unless its just for a second or two here and there

I never thought of the radiation thing, thanks fellow xda members.. she did mention that on a forum she goes on, someone mentioned that there's an app for the iphone that works. But not for her Evo.

Anyone know some cheap ways of calling or texting international numbers? While I was away I made some "friends" that I would like to keep in contact with but my current house phone plan costs about .50 cents a minute and I can't let my mom see that
So if anyone has any ideas please respond ill be sire to thank you...

Isn't sprint free after 7? Or does that not count for international?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Skype or using your google number with that free calling program thingy
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA Premium App
If you have aim I believe you can also text international numbers

Is there a way to respond to all from a multi person text from an iPhone? Whenever I get a text conversion from my friends that are on iPhones, I can only respond to the person who sent the text and no one else sees my response.

People say that Handcent or Go SMS have this feature.
How does that work for sms? I have to be able to reply to the same text.

I think there is a setting called "thread conversation"... I haven't tried it, so, maybe you should... Since it's the only lead you've got.
Thank you I'll try that. I can't believe more people haven't asked about this, android stock sms sucks
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
I can't find thread conversation, do you have a link?
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Its been brought up a few times in the past, ut I'm not sure if it was ever resolved. I don't use any 3rd party apps for sms or id try to be more helpful.
But try using the search this forum feature for both General and Q&A sections in all of the S3 sections (AT&T, Sprint, i9300...)
That's probably your best bet if no one else answers here.

I started this thread for all of us to share ideas on how we can get the best usage out of Multi-View.
I just used my Multi-View to scan my CVS card and then I selected Google Wallet. This was the most efficient way to pay for my items.

I use it the most when connected to my smart Doc. Watching a movie and browsing the Web or using office suite and research online.

I usually have Facebook and my email open at the same time. Or I usually am watching YouTube and doing my email at the same time.
Currently, I use it to watch YouTube videos and email. I've also used it to play Temple Run 2 and text.

How the hell did you do that? How did you get it to support that app? I can't even figure out how to get the dialer in that list.

Root then flash the all apps multi window mod or a ROM with it baked in.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda premium
I like to use currents and Google voice. Great way to share things via text.

Like patrao_n stated, root your phone and then flash a custom rom that has the mod installed. I am too using whompasaurus rom (Stock rom w/ goodies)!!!

-TeaM VeNuM Like A Boss

I actually prefer to use the floating apps instead of the split screen thing from Samsung.

I use it for watching basketball and cycling between reading online & sending text msg. Then I take screenshots during these times & send them to friends who are iPhone users... response; "how do you do that, what app is that"? And you know what comes after..... True Story!

I use it on break at work so I can XDA or surf the Web and text my fiancee @ the same time without having to switch back and forth.. It's a pretty useful feature and she doesn't get mad over a late reply, pregnant hormones.. Lol

Nice. I'll have to give a few of them a try. I always worry about deleting something that I shouldn't.

saw 2 files you removed that I'm just giving an experienced warning on for others...if you remove the voicemail, you will not receive any notifications if you get voice messages, again I know from experience
not gonna double quote the other pic I saw but the google text to speech file, another 1 that if you ever use your phone on the road for gps, you will not get turn by turn voice directions...yes I've done this and experienced the loss of turn by turn voice
other than that, nice listings and compilation for users

Thank you for the for letting them know that , voicemail for me if I miss a call I just hit and hold 1 and takes you to the old style voicemail
And I dont use voice stuff at all for my phone kinda pointless to me when you have google on mobile web...lol...
Tell you what man deleting all this is amazing how much battery I have gained and how much smoother the phone and performance is
If you and any of you have anymore pointers for the apps being deleted please feel free to share
This list is the list I personally deleted because I never have or never will I use
hey man no problem, I'm like you, I rip all that crap out!! lol even the custom roms, but sometimes when I miss calls at work, I don't bother just dialing the voicemail and next thing you know, I get the message over a week late lol gotta love the space it all frees up too and speeding up the phone and saving battery life for sure
again good posting up of the pics for people to actually see and follow along
