I saw on "RUjelus22"s page that there's a flashable zip for that, can I flash that? Or is that for something else?

I used an inverted sms w/ auto split. Unfortunately I can't remember who developed it, but it worked perfectly on ICS. Flash away, if worse comes to worst just reflash the ROM.

Are you running an AOSP rom, or sense?
Edit: either way, nandroid, flash and see what happens.

i know there is somewhere but idk where. if anything just download handcent sms from the market and get the darkness skin theme from the market also. its all black and has grey text bubbles. and everything is customizeable thats what i use and the pop up text for quick reply is really useful if i find what your looking for tho ill pm it to you

Well the sense messaging app is completely different then the AOSP messaging app. As I said, if you truly wanna find out if it works just nandroid and flash.

Fix Permissions
Besides What Rom Are You Running And Do You Have Superuser

Does flashing this theme change the dialer keypad? I flashed a rom but I don't like the theme dialer keypad and I want to change it back. Would this theme do it? Thanks.

[ROM] GuruBuilt Mini CM9, Feature Rich and < 100Mb Updated 8-9-2012

This is very similar to my Guru'd Nightly, minus the ringtone package and other wiz-bang goodies. I don't have the time to do a full write up at the moment, but I wanted to get this posted while its still fresh. This is Nightly 20120808 based.
This package has everything you need, to get everything you need! No need to flash a gapps package, in fact it would be silly to do so. Just like my Guru'd Nightly, everythings theme'd and optimized. You've got the Market app to get your apps, Solid Explorer for Root file access, and much more.

I've pretty much switch over to Hololauncher completely. Its a beautiful launcher, smooth, and in my builds its fully theme'd. And yes its a zoomer...

I quite like the look of the stock dialer, espeially the contacts and call log. If it only had smart dial...

Can we just use the apk from cm10? I did the same for the mms app and it works perfectly. Can anyone extract it from cm10?

For mms.apk I just downloaded the cm10 mms.apk and put it in systems/app and renamed the mms odex file. would that work here?

Hmm. Honestly I'm not sure, never tried it myself. But I vaguely seem to remember reading elsewhere that someone did exactly that and it worked for them. (If I can find a link to the comment in whatever thread I read it in I'll post it.)
But you know how it works around here, do a backup first and then give it a shot. If it works, great and let us all know. If it doesn't, restore your backup and let us all know. : )

Yes but remove the odex file..save it somewhere else..

You should check out detmobilized 1.5. There are many different options in the aroma as far as themed MMS, and it is an outstanding ROM!! Been with it since day one, and I won't be flashing anything else for a while!! U won't be disappointed...

That didn't work I'm looking for a full galaxy s4 theme to flash , to where the settings are white dialer white , I'd like either a rom or a theme..... sho if anyone could give the the link to where it Is I'd be to thankful... thank you again
