As the title says, I am looking for devs with knowledge about app developping.
I'd like to port the Xperia S apps and widgets to the ICS beta rom for Xperia phones.
Post a reply or PM me if you want to help
Thanks in advance
The best shot you have at this is to just use the new png copy them over to the ics stock Widgets

Hey Guys,
I recently bought new sony livesound headphones for my xperia pro mk16i and the headphones have got a "livekey" which should be capable of starting apps and other stuff. However it doesn't work at all. No options when I click and/or hold the livekey. Otherwise the volume keys and the middle key for pausing and playing music do work.
In case it's important: I am using the Ultimate HD 2.0.3 ROM by jader and the arcknight kernel for xperia pro.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Probably ROM or kernel have no such support for the key.
Thanks, but...

Thanks, but how do I figure out which one is the problem? I already asked this question in the Q&A thread for the ROM I use, but nobody answered.
I would really appreciate any help in finding the cause of the livekey issue!

It's the Rom's problem. The app needed for livekey to work is removed as bloatware.

Hey guys,

Does anyone know what do I have to do to make the livekey work? Please guys! I'd be totally grateful for any help and of course I could spend you a coffee or an ice cream

If you're on an AOSP rom, it will probably never work. You'll need a stock rom. It's like the galaxy s3's ability to call whoever is on your screen by holding your phone to your face. It's a feature of the stock rom.

stock based enough?

would it be enough if I have a stock based rom? because Ultimate HD Rom by Jader is stock based and the livekey doesnt work with it
thx.
AW: [Q] How to make the livekey work?
i don't think so. either you enjoy custom rom, or you enjoy the livekey

Hi,
is possible to have Android 4.1 (JB) like in Samsung Galaxy S III mini in my HTC Wildfire S ?? With sort of apps you can get only in Samsung? Or how i can get those apps? For explain, i want kill app widget, Samsung sms, etc.

you will have to port samsung touchwiz , but s3 is armv7 so it's very very hard to port on wildfire s best you can do is port touchwiz gingerbread from galaxy ace

Is out there a TouchWiz ROM with working Statusbar, etc(like note 8.0 or sgs4)? For Xperia Arc S

No, too bloated, too hard to port and no one will ever port touchwiz anyway.

Hi all I couldnt find any roms thats pure xperia s xperiance with out extra stuffs or addons added by yourself .. Like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1796428 so my question.. Can some of u devs port the whole xperia s rom ? Pure stock xperia S without settings shortcut in systemui etc etc etc.. Pure stock S rom like the above mentioned link I would like to port it myself or even theme the stock neo/arc Rom but I'm not good in theming and porting stuffs :/
And everyone would use that Rom for sure I would be really happy cause my mum use this Rom on her old x10i and she's really happy and I must say I'm hit jealous haha .. But would be great
Thanks in Advanced for ur answers

Hahaha I don't have the money I'm honest and I'm happy with my neo I don't need more speed or else just want the UI but I've successfully themed and got all xperia S and some xperia Go apps and everything work without problem no bugs and really smooth .. Even booting takes 15-20 sec
