Best JB Rom - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

Just wondering what's the best Jelly Bean Rom i'm on CM10 Preview and I see many have updated past 8/14 and having camera problems with mine.
What do you recommend, leaning towards cm10 nightly.

It is all in preference try them all and make your choice. Your opinion is the only one you should care about. Imo there is no "best" they all have their pros and cons.

These are not allowed on xda as it is pure opinion and someone ends up getting pissed that their rom was not mentioned. Try them all and judge for yourself.

Best ROM right now?

Hi everyone, just a simple question. I am looking for the best overall ICS rom for the T989 right now. Is it worth flashing now or should I wait for Jelly Bean rom or any other rom? Thanks for the help everyone.

I'm using Darkside Evolution 3 v7 ICS rom and it works flawlessly. Best ICS rom I've ever used.

So far Aokp is my DD right now I like to the stock feeling of ICS and not touchwiz

Ah dissenting opinions! So there is no de facto rom?
That's like asking what the best car is. Its subjective.

Let the flashing begin...
Personally, I've stuck with Darkside Evolution 3 (v7) since its release. Although it looks very stock, it's very stable with an amazing kernel and battery life.
AOKP and cm9 are amazing (I'll be flashing cm9 again once we get our release candidate).
AOKP feels like cm based ROM with a little more to offer but with that being said, neither feel as stable as a stock based ROM for our phones at the present time.
You'll always get a biased opinion so I'd suggest flashing some of the more popular roms by checking each thread and good luck buddy!

I've been wondering the same. Reading through the forums, I determined Darkside Evolution 3 (v7) was the most popular. It took a few flashes before I was able to get it working right on my phone, but it runs similar to stock. The only way you'll be able to tell if you like it is if you give it a try.
aokp..... more tweaks.... less bloats, stable, fast.

Try ParanoidAndroid, this ROM is awesome.

I'm gonna say AOKP. I've tried all of the aforementioned ROMs and I have settled on AOKP because of the amazing battery life, customization and the AOSP theme it comes with. AOKP has also become very stable as of recently, rivaling the stability of Darkside. I used to run Darkside when it first came out, but now I can't get over the very stock feel/look. If you enjoy the tweaking, I would suggest AOKP. If not, then go with Darkside. If you want something in the middle, go with CM.
+1 on AOKP and link is in the sig. Darkside is also a great ROM just depends on your preference of touchwiz or stock. Both are the top ROMs imo.
Either AOKP or anything DARKSIDE.

I find it funny anytime I see one of these threads and find it even funnier when I see how many people answer. Its probably easier to say what not to use....LOL
Lets be honest thousands of people use this forum and if only 20 actually answer this thread I am quite sure all of the dozen or so roms will be mentioned... This question is like mentioned earlier is subjective and no way can you find a definitive answer in here....
I hate stock but there are some advantages to it, I love CM9 but also enjoy some of the tweaks of AOKP... I just load them all up get them to how I like it and nandroid them all... Problem solved
OP good luck but instead of reading our crazy posts get to flashing
AOKP
I am on AOKP Milestone 6. Was gonna try Darkside, but liked aokp and dont see any reason to switch.
There are few things that will not work with AOKP.
1) WIFI calling
2) Audio out via the car dock.
If those are not issues, try it out.

Blazer vs jelly bomb thread

Post your benchmark scores and opinions on both.
**this thread is in no way intended to bash either developers its just a thread were two roms can be compared and contrasted using valid points. Please no vulgarities and just have fun showig off how fast your phone is one either of these two roms.**
Edited because i think i apoke to soon, and because id like to see them compared lulz**

All you really need is one kernel and rom, and you're good to go. I came from the Photon and we had a really limited number of Devs and only a couple ROM's, but they were all really good. And there are books and guides on how to develop apps, kernels, and roms and all that stuff too. So if it is that they jumped ship, you could take that route.
Though to answer your question, not sure. May be just a lull.
I haven't actually flashed either of these ROMs yet, but I will probably be flashing something TW based myself as I'd like to keep the Samsung functions. But as I do update, I'll keep y'all posted.
Coming from jelly bomb v7.0 to blazer's rom, I personally prefer the smoothness of blazer. It hasn't given me a single technical problem either after 4-5 days. Both provide excellent battery life, and very snappy speeds, but in my opinion the unthemed blazer vs the all blue jelly bomb was definitely the tie breaker. I got pretty fed up with all off the blue-ness, but it's all in preference.

Best jelly bean 4.1.2 rom for the att s3

I wanted to know which is the best jelly bean rom for s3 att ive checked liquid smooth but dont know if I should flash that phone any other ones better than that one. Thanks

There is no best or worst roms. Its all about personal preference. The best thing to do is just flash different roms untill you find one that suits your personal needs. That being said...... I like loser rom. It looks close to stock , has the features i was looking for and I havent had any issues with it so far. Also xda moderators frown upon questions about " best" roms and usually close these types of threads.

Yeah, it's a matter of just trying them out. If you want a more "stock" feel, check out Jedi Invasion 2.1. If you want something different, CM10 and AOKP are two popular choices

[Q] What is the best rom for sgh i747?

Hey everyone I am wondering what the best rom is for the galaxy s3 sgh i747. But before replying please read this entire post. I understand that there are different roms and it depends on what you like, but I would like an opinion with facts and I am going to leave it up to you guys to be mature and repect everyones opinion and not turn this into a flame war. Now when I say best I mean in means of the following:
Stability - Most important because we don't want our roms crashing all the time
Proformance - Speed and battery life, may not be the fastest rom or the best rom to hold a charge but the key is a good balance
Features - This is a mix between quality and quantity
Productivity - If the Authors of the rom are no longer working to develop it then let's not dwell on obsolete roms
Bugs - Of course another biggie is the bugs because it can be great but if it's riddled with bugs there's no point
Thanks guy I appreciate your time, I figured I would ask this because I work two jobs and would like to update my rom and I don't have time to flip through the mediocre roms. **This is not a thread to hurt anyones feelings lol**
Vanilla Rootbox might be what your looking for.
Graviton for stock modified or vanilla root box for custom.
Graviton is about as stable as you will get.
Dandroid is amazing too

I agree with the other two. vanilla root box definitely the best IMO.

Best rom - Task650's 4.2.1 AOKP. Hands down. No contest. Yes, that's just my opinion... but hey - you asked!
Sent from my SGH-I747 using xda premium
Task650's AOKP is definitely the best in my opinion (based off how I use the phone). He addresses any potential bugs quickly (which are few) and keeps the updates coming regularly...something you will never get with stock.
Ultimately though, each device is different and how each user interacts with their phone is different, so what ROM will meet all of your requirements can vary.
Task650 ROM. Rock solid! Never had single reboot. Love it

CM 10.1 is now flawless. Of Course -> IMO

Best 4.2 Original Development ROM

Hello I've been using touchwiz based roms and feel like using a more vanilla based ROM and was wondering what's the best build and that is glitch free. I'd greatly appreciate your commentary

"Glitch Free" is a relative term. All 4.2.x Roms have some glitches, but there are many glitches that I overlook because they don't affect me.
That being said, the best way to find out which Rom you want to use is to try them out! The three that I always cycle through are:
LiquidSmooth (this is my base, I flash others to compare it to this)
Slim Bean
Carbon Rom
Now there are other ones that people have said good things about, including (but not limited to):
Deviant Xone
PAC Rom
Hope this helps, even though I basically just replicated the front page of the Original Android Sub-forum.

You can't really have a "best" ROM. The effectiveness of a ROM depends on the user. Every user has different needs. If you're looking for the most stable ROM out there, your best bet is staying on stock touchwiz. If you're looking to try out AOSP, you'll have to flash a couple of ROMs. I run Slim Bean build 3. The newest build is on Linux 3.4 and I have found bad battery life. Build 3 was released only a couple weeks ago. Using dkp kernel and Slim build 3, I have found these to be my "best" setup. I am finding very little bugs and I have great battery life and performance. You'll have to flash a few ROMs and kernels before you find out what works best for you. Have fun flashing! Good luck mate

@OP
If you're asking for a "best" ANYTHING, you should think twice before posting. As said, this is all relative. It depends on your usage, your definition of "stability", and what you consider to make something "good".
When I say the "best" I mean exactly what I said. What is the best to you and there are many ROMs that are very stable. But what's the most stable version of that ROM.

To seek the impossible dream, to reach for the unreachable star,..... Your asking a question that only you can answer for yourself. If you search you will see this has been asked 100ds of times in these forums and most of these threads get locked.
