This is more of a dialer theme but has a few image updates for contacts as well.
Push to system/app folder after you rename the old Contacts.apk to something like Contacts.apk.bak
Step1: You need root and a file explorer that has root access. I use Root Explorer.
Step2: Copy the Contacts.apk file from your computer to your sdcard
Step3: Navigate to /system/App
Step4: Rename Contacts.apk to Contacts.apk.bak
Step5: Navigate Back to /sdcard
Step6: Copy or Move the new Contacts.apk
Step7: Navigate back to /system/app
Step8: Paste
Step9: Back out to home screen
Step10: Open App Drawer
Step11: Long Press Phone and Drag to home screen
Step12: Long Press Phone on Homescreen and drag to Launch Bar to put it back
Step13: For Contacts Repeat Steps 10-12 to put Contacts back on launch bar

Hi, is there an app you can run on your pc in active sync mode where you can change you start menu screen folder placements, icons and folder contained item shortcuts. Alternatively something you can run on your phone without reg hacking.
If not there should be, would be a really nice little app for that extra ROM polishing.
I ask as I havent yet found a ROM with a start screen I have been happy with, most are untidy and there also seems to be a lot of icon / folder duplication.
Well, you do all that from the file explorer. Just go to Windows\Start Menu, and you can arrange the icons in any way you want. Move them from folder to folder. Also, re-arranging the icons is possible when you press and hold on the icon, and it will allow you to put it anywhere you want.
I'm hoping that's what you were looking for.
That must have sounded like a pretty silly question, however up until now I have never been able to get into the windows folder via active sync, it always froze. I can with this rom
I also have a utility for this, particular creating and moving icons in the start menu from one folder to another:

Use total commander. Then, go to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs, and move/rename your shorcut anywhere you want. You can make folder too.

You need to have Root Access and MetaMorph installed on your Nexus.
Installation:
1. Download file below, note this file requires the MetaMorph Application
2. Move to “Android Themes” folder created by MetaMorph on SD card
3. After checks, choose “Unzip/Extract New”
4. Follow instructions from there
5. Phone may reboot, if not, manually reboot

Someone on the "signal red" thread mentioned if the colours could be changed, and i guess it couldn't be more simple: just edit the png files contained on the zip file with any photo application, even Paint will do it. Just choose the colour that suits you best for each one of the .PNGs and it's done.
This is just an idea, please ask the mod owner for permission first.
yeah go for it, just edit the PNG that reside in the ZIP just make sure you repackage the zip file correctly. If you wanted to change to a different color you can use the color replacement tool in Photoshop.
Hello guys!
I just want to share with you this little mod that i've made (big thanks to adi_aisiteru_reborn that linked me the tutorial)
As you can see in the picture, i've add the "%" symbol in the battery icon. It's not that much, just a little graphic mod, but here it is for all who want it.
hope you enjoy it
only compatible with alpha 4, when arsradu will update the ROM, i will update the systemui.apk too

for the newbie XD: to install it
1) download my systemUI.apk
2) use a root browser (the best, in my opinion, is root explorer) and, first of all, move it in "/system" folder
3) here, change permission of my SystemUI.apk in "rw-r--r--"
4) "Important" make a backup of your old systemUI.apk (it is in "/system/app" folder)...for the backup just copy this systemui.apk in the external sd card, to avoid any errors
5) then, push my systemui.apk (please be sure that you have setted permission like i said) from "/system" in "/system/app".
6) Confirm the overwriting with "yes", reboot and that's it
Hi , I have a file issue with my SF2 , I wanted to put my media default folders in my SD card , but I made a mistake with the picture fodler and I put it on the root of the SD . So now my picture folder is a shortcut to my SD card I can't revert the action . When I right-click properties , it shows the SD volume information and no longer the picture folder it was.
how to revert it ?

It's messy, but you could try the registry.
Run regedit (hit Start or Win+R, type "regedit" without quotes, hit Enter, approve UAC prompt).
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders
Edit the strings in the relevant registry values, such as "My Pictures".
Log out and log in again (or just restart).
I can't promise it will work - your error is weird and I've never seen it before - but hopefully it will.
Yeah it worked ! I had to do it ten times after removing and re-insert the SD but it finally worked
thank you !!
Removed stock toggles and clock from notification list and made notification row visible when bar is dropped.
Installation:
1. Make sure you have ROOT, ADB ENABLED, STOCK 4.3 (15.4.A.1.9), MADE A BACKUP OF ORIGINAL SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex from /system/app
-adb enabled is important because when somethings goes wrong you can put back original SytsemUI.apk and SytemUI.odex
2. Remove SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex from /system/app
-android will now reload UI it will display bootscreen for a while
-there will be no notification bar untill you put SystemUI.apk back don't worry it's ok
3. Paste file from bootm of this post to /system/app
-it's deodexed so no need of .odex file
4. Fix permissions a.k.a rwx (enable them all -chmod 777)
5. Reboot
If something goes wrong don't panic, when you boot and there is no notifaction bar or SytsemUI is force closing, just do:
1. Connect your phone via usb
2. Remove SystemUI.apk throught ADB
3. Push BOTH original backuped files
4. Everything is back :]
If someone want's to know how to edit things like that i can make tutorial for him/her.
