[Q] Stock Android keyboard on Froyo Desire

On 2.1 I had installed stock keyboard using this method: http://nimbu.amorvi.com/2010/04/add-full-voice-to-text-to-htc-desire/
However this no longer works, since Voice Search is installed by default and can't be installed over.
Is there any way of getting the stock keyboard on official Froyo (without root, I really should have waited for a modded official froyo...)?

Anyone..? I'm getting really sick of HTC_IME mod...
EDIT: Aha, Smart Keyboard has a Stock Android skin, and it looks and works great. Only problem is, you need to pay for suggestions...

[REQUEST] TouchWiz Multitasking Menu?

Hi all,
I've just rooted & put AOKP rom on my new GS3.
Problem is, I'm missing the little task manager button that's on the stock touchwiz.
Does anybody have an APK I could install, or any way to enable this?
As a side request, does anybody know of a link to all the stock apps that came with the S3? I'm interested to install a few of them.
I dont think you will get that Feature on CM9/Aokp/Aosp roms
and if you want some stock apps, easiest way to get them is go and find a Stock based rom download and extract the whole the System/App folder and there you have it.

Stock T-Mobile keyboard request...

I'm not sure where to post, so I assume this is the right place.
I need help? I need the stock T-Mobile keyboard apk. I'm not sure if that's possible.
I flashed this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1965035 in order to get a stock debloated ROM and everything is working perfect, except the keyboard is different and is so cumbersome to use compared to the stock one.
This is the one I have now.

And this is the one from my wife's stock T-Mobile:

I want the later one and my phone will be perfect.
Any help will be appreciated.

Are you married to that ROM? Have you given one of the Jedi ROM's a try? They are pretty debloated and hellaciously fast. And we complained about the keyboard enough that he extracted the second keyboard you listed and put it in his updates. PLUS, Multi-Window works on it.
Cant help with the keyboard, but use the "other" stock rooted rom here. Teshxx has a rooted rom full of bloat that uses the good jeyboard. Just debloat manually with Titanium Backup.
But, this is still a very valid request. The international keyboard sucks compared to Tmo (never thought I'd make that claim about anything), so it'd still be nice to figure out how to swap keyboards effectively. I know some folks were having problems with it over in the Jedi thread.

Thanks for all the replies. I just used my stock rom and debloated with Titanium Backup and made a CWM backup before installing any apps. ROM is perfect now.

[Q] How do I get the Swype Keyboard using Jedi Mind Trick v4 ROM

Hi, I just Rooted (First time) my SGH-T989 using TWRP and I have been trying a few ROMS. I really liked the Jedi Mind Trick v4, it was remarkably FAST!!!
The only 1 thing I didn't like, was that I am so used to the Samsung SWYPE Keyboard, and this one has the ICS keyboard. Is there any way to get the SWYPE keyboard and use that one as a default? Do I have to download the .apk separately or something? In the input settings, ICS Keyboard is there with a ghosted out Tick box with it Ticked and I can't change it..I think Google is there as the Default....(Not sure, cause I'm now testing out Koodo 4.0.4 at the moment) and this one had swype by default, but Koodo 4.0.4 seems to just be a basic ROM to me without the bloat...
Download swype install and just change default in settimgs

Thanks! That's what I thought...I'm downloading it now....I found it on http://sourceforge.net/projects/jedimindtricksi/files/ There was an extra download link for extras on the OP page.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1818305
UPDATE: All set...got it installed now.....Thanks and sorry for the dumb question...but I'm new to the Rooting and Customized ROMs....got a lot to learn yet...

[Q] SM-T310 Root

Hi
I would like to root my device but I would like to keep the original touchwiz 4.2.2 Jelly Bean which I'm using now. I haven't updated to KitKat.
What would I need to do? I have'nt rooted any devices yet.
Some step by step instructions would be appreciated.
Basically I want the tab to be rooted with the same version rom as it is now so I can get rid of annoying ads on webpages.
