I got a (noob) questions. That's my situation: I want use absolutely use the Android 4.x on mine Desire, I used the Sandvoid ICS Rom until now...sadly this ROM got A LOT of bugs and right now it's discontinued. So I would like to know:
- Exist a 4.x ROM closely bugs free for Desire?
I'm looking preferably for a ROM that looks like the standard Android UI without major moddings. Hope that someone could help me, thanks in advance :good:

I'd recommend
[ROM][ICS][15 Jul] slim roms for Desire [based on Sandvold .15 & K900 build 40]
Been using it for over a month and find it really smooth without any issues. You need cm7r2 hboot.

I am very happy with Jelly Bean, Nikez p7 is awesome, very smooth and good battery life. You should try it
Did anyone try this ROM? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1845628
I'll mirror that one.
for me is: [ROM][4.1.1] Jelly Bean | CyanogenMod10
I use elk759 JB at the moment, no complaints so far.
aokp is better,i think 4.0 is slow
of course this one ----Jelly Bean - Pre-Alpha 9 by LaidbackNikez, you can find it on desire android development
Elk759's JB for Desire
Try this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1827934
It is JB, without Sense. Nearly bug free and almost everything works. Additionally, it has Cyanogenmod10 Settings.

Hello,
I am looking for an official Rom with sense 3.0 for desire z
if it does'nt exist then a costum would be welcome too
thank you
wrong section.......
Sorry I've found only this
I guess there is no official sense 3.0 rom for the desire z. If you want sense 3.0 i can recommand android revolution 6.3.3. The 7.0.4 version is newer but has sense 3.5.

I've found the thread of this rom, but the download link does'nt work !
can you give me a link that works?
What do you think about a rom with costum ics 4.0.4 that we can found on other htc?
thank you very much

too seriously, you must first understand what people say before responding like that
I know that such this thread exists in this forum for each phone now, but the problem is that some put a rom ics while this is not the ics for htc but ics for samsung
So I can't open all the pages, I prefer to have the rom I'm surching, especially since most do not put pics of Rom
and thank very much you for your link
All rom android 4.0 are from ice cold sandwich for samsung and not from ice cream sandwich for htc
this one is ics 4.0.4 for htc

I thought that this rom was to samsung nexus and I've never seen as official rom for htc
In any case I encountered some problems with the rom I installed previously, the problem of light, the camera also does not work, and especially when I plug the device into usb it does'nt give me choice and the orange light does not light but charges battery
Then I installed another (RCMix.Energized.7.26.2012.Fixed.Kernel_Ver2): the camera work, the lights at the beginning, and then nothing, and some error messages on startup
I wish to try the coredroid rom but I have not found a special link to desire z, but for a multi devices; do you think we can install it on several models without problems?
thank you very much

Roms ported from a different device (ie: that was originally on an Incredible) don't typically have full support for the ported device unless the creator went the extra length to fix it (which appears he did not). Sorry no solution, other than to go with a rom that was created FOR the Desire-Z/G2 and not ported from another device.
Thank you for this information, I'll see one designed for the desire z

Hello you people at the ONE X section!
My name is InfinityFTW, and i own a HTC Sensation. I develop a ROM for the Sensation called TouchCream/TouchBean, which is a hybrid/port of the Galaxy S3 UI and apps mixed in with AOKP.
I have asked the developer of the ROM <KANGED> (v3.1) JB-4.1.2r1 monxDIFIED (monx®) for permission to use his ROM as a base.
First, i need to know, is this something you could be interested in? And then, I need testers, as i don't own the device.
Thanks, InfinityFTW

First off, I think you're asking the wrong person for permission because monx is using Lord ClockaN's AOKP base which I believe is derived from tgascoigne's device tree. Secondly I think that anybody could simply flash an AOKP ROM and then install the TouchWiz UX Launcher and mods which can be found in the themes/mods section of this forum to get the same thing themselves.

welcome, sorry it doesnt work :/
Finally had some spare time last night to test out this ROM. Installed fine and runs smooth. The theme selection and the ability to mix and match portions of several different themes to create a custom theme really makes this ROM shine. Many of the themes are designed for an Asian market but they are still pretty cool nonetheless. One of my favorite features of this ROM is the ability mass-kill recent apps from the popup menu when you hold down the home button.
As far as bugs go, the only one I've found so far that's not already mentioned in this thread is broken video playback (no surprise there though). I really hope to see this ROM get updated to a newer version. I'm sticking to BlackBean for the time being but this is a nice toy to play around with for sure!
so i got miui jb to work.... will post after testing

I like the idea of making a super smooth custom ROM. I think the HTC one x has a lot of untapped power. I wouldn't go as far as to remove the market app but a general tidy up should be more than enough.
