Assuming CM9 or CM10, Menu, Manage Apps, All. Select an app, and if you have a "Move to SD Card" select that. Go through all your apps and do the same for those with the Move to SD Card option. That should free up some space.
Do that for a couple apps, then download app2sd app from market. This app will show u all the apps that r movable, and will allow u to move them all without selecting individual ones.

Can u be more specific about what app exactly has this problem?
Maybe this thread will help you

I've moved all the apps I could to my sd and still low on storage. Is there a way to delete other stuff on my phones storage?
Or move games that say they can't be moved to sd? Thanks

Do you have any apps that you no longer use? Have you gotten rid of the bloatware and unused Widgets? With a system level file manager like Root Explorer or via adb, maneuver to the /system/app folder and delete what you don't want, but before you do, know what you're deleting or you can cause problems. As a matter of fact, before doing anything, go into recovery and make a nandroid backup of your current setup so in case you mesa something up, you can return to the way it was. Finally, you might want to invest in a larger capacity card.

You can move dalvik to the cache partition. Also, what ROM are you using, it's possible on certain setups to be falsely reporting low storage.
Myns rom and how do i move the cache? Thanks

I haven't tried this, but, if you're using RLS5, there's a setting in the Spare Parts app that came preinstalled where you should be able to easily move the dalvik to the SD cards. Initiate the Spare Parts app, scroll down and select "Data Storage Option" and then scroll down and select "Dalvik-cache on SD Card. Again, I have not tried it.

If you have (or get) a2sd, you can do it from the terminal app.
Anyone knows how to check free space on the phone not on the SD card?
It says I have no room but I can't check it by use of Es file explorer or Astro.
Thanks.
Go to manage applications on settings> applications> manage applications. At the bottom you will see how much space its used and how much is free....
You can also use App Control.apk to see used space on your phone. It also lets you backup your applications

Thank you guys for a quick reply.
Well I'm getting to:
settings> applications> manage applications. At the bottom you will see how much space its used and how much is free....
Click to collapse
But, well... I don't see any info about the total or/and free space.
Clicking Menu only lets for the sort order.
Then it is better to use app control application. It will so used and unused space at the top of its ui.

Thank you.
Any other app you would suggest?
App Control has not very intuitive interface. This size showing is well... strange. And the "see details" feature does not work for me.
App remover has a nice interface but it does not show the general info.
So would you suggest any other app?
Thank you very much
AppMonster is also a good application. Pro version is actually quite nice and has added features.

If you're rooted, use Titanium Backup. I'm sure there's a more lightweight application to check, but TB shows your System, Internal, and SD storage as separate bars.
I'd say the best way is to go to manage applications and look down at the bottom. It will say internal storage.

Just go to Settings>Storage and towards the bottom it will say Internal Storage. It will give you total space and available space.
Any help here would be appreciated. This happened twice with google maps and once with facebook. Instead of integrating, apps are being removed from phone.
I am on stangs rom the latest official deodexed gingerbread rom...never had this problem before.
Are you restoring data+apps? And if so what Rom did u back them up with?
Sent from my ADR6300 using xda premium
Nah. When I install a new rom (like this one for instance) I only restore user apps and data. I leave all the internal apps alone.
Soo after getting updates for internal apps (like Gmail/Maps/Facebook) I use the intergrate button and then **poof** the apps are removed. Icon still shows up under system/apps in Root Explorer but the app and icon don't show up anymore on phone.
So what do you guys recommend? Should I just do this manually in Root Explorer? How can I integrate on my own to save some space?
Just wanted to bump. I know I can do this the reverse way while rooted. I guess by removing the app and reinstalling again but anyone else have any ideas?
Still getting this problem.
How much free space is is /system? TB may fail on moving if there is not enough space free.

Hmmm I bet you are on to something. Only about 3-4 mb free. Even though I can free up about another 40 mb by deleting an app.disabled folder I created. Thanks man I bet this is why.

Did you make sure to delete these files off of your internal SD card and not your external SD card?
Are you stock or rooted? If so what rom are you using?

This always happens to me before, like all my apps on SD card randomly uninstall themselves, if I reboot, another one will be uninstalled while the previous is okay.
Usually, I go to settings > Storage > Unmount SDcard > then Mount SDcard afterwards.
This pissed me off so I moved all my apps to the 2gb partition... good thing I cleaned some of it so it occupies about 800mb...
Hm strange titanium backup still won't move but I'll try that app... Thanks
Edit: all app 2 sd does is make me go to the manual screen...
