I'm building an Android app that uses tabs for its start menu. The tabs don't display when I port the app to a Kindle Fire. Does anyone know why? The tabs and their contents show up fine in the emulator and on my Android phone. Thanks!

is it possible to assign additional IR keys/commands (beyond that of the standard fire tv remote buttons) in the native fire tv gui, not kodi.
i would like to assign shortcuts on my remote that tell fire tv to open hbo, netfllx, etc...

Is there a way to change the AFTv default homepage so that it goes directly to XMBC ?
Why not just google, cauuse you would have found an answer in a half a second? The only real way to do it is to root your device then find the direction on changing the default launcher, but their is a substitute called AFTV Launcher Helper that Basically does the same thing. Just install it and you can pic any app as your default lancher. When you boot up yo Fire TV will strt the app you choose, and when you hit the home button it will go to the app you choose, and you do not need to be rooted.

Right here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2782307 No root required.
In kodi on windows there is a font.xml in C:\Program Files (x86)\Kodi\addons\skin.confluence\720p which can be edited for a larger Arial font. Arial font unlike the Large font option that currently exit is capable of displaying non-English characters.
I can't seem to locate font.xml on neither the ftv or my rooted android tablet. I've been using ES Explorer (with show hidden files on) and I'm on KodiJarvis.
I would also rather stick to the confluence skin, if possible.
I would appreciate some help, thank you.

Can't remember the exact location but look in Android/Kodi/data/userdata/addon/confluence/ or something simular to that?
Hope this helps
When I go into some of my programs and have too change the settings I can hardly see which setting I am in because the colors of the background and menu are nearly the same
is there anyway to fix this, in the picture below the I have scrolled down to the epg text and as you can see it is nearly impossible to see it is highlighted this happens in most menus.
Box Amazon fire tv rooted.
