Those are both the same, neither of which are working (at least for me) on the GNex.

My bad... I figured 2.1+ would include 4.0...
I would also love to see a donut launcher. The jb / ICS launchers all look and feel the same.

Does anyone know ow to disable htc sense on disire.
I hva esearched and googled it and the method they show is for a pre-released desire.
I want to make the desire look like the nexus one. just for simplicity.
Download Helixlauncher 2 from the market place and home switcher, install them, if you want to switch between one to the other you can with home switcher..

Most people think "Sense UI" is the reason to buy a Desire rather than a Nexus One.
Have you tried this;

Yeeees, right. I shifted the end-letters for fun ...
I've been trying to work out how the SDK image would work on actual handsets, and the only answer I come to is "crashariffic". If you set up an AVD to run at 480x800, then it defaults to a regular Android skin, but Launcher crashes. However, it works if you set the LCD density to 100 or less - but then it would be unusable on all but the largest of handsets - the Desire HD or Dell Streak, for example.
If I had another handset.. er.. handy, I'd try flashing my SGS with it just to see.

Not a good idea.
But maybe some parts could be useful for optimization or theming.
I wanted to try out the new clock font for the lockscreen.
No luck so far. On Froyo, or Gingerbread it's Clockopia.ttf.
On Honeycomb it's split across two files named AndroidClock.ttf and AndroidClock_Highlight.ttf.
One for vertical and one for horizontal bars. I can only get one to display.
Any ideas on this?
gallery doesn't work too
Can somebody tell what works?

Nothing will work
The apps were built for a higher API Level, so it wont install without modifications.
You modify the APKs and hope that they dont use any new APIs.

Just read that it will work with 3rd party home like Launcher Pro so problem is in the Home app.
ADW have just updated their launcher - makes it have more ics flavor - it was a good launcher but it is now AWESOME!
It is indeed now even more awesome than before. Love it.

Are you sure? states that the last update was 22/12/2010?
Positive - Version 1.3.3.5 - Updated today.
Wow, feels very fluid!
Can anyone post screens/video, if there is anything new?

It's the EX version that was updated.
Which one are you using ? All I see is one dated from last year.
This was updated today
It's got HW acceleration enabled. By the way, for those that have it, how do you access widgets? Same as stock method ?
Widget by the old way of press and hold on the home screen.

Thx. Gonna stick with default launcher, love the new way of widgets, animation of next page, and market icon on top.
Is it better/worse than the stock ICS launcher?

Ah, question answered
The only thing I need it for is the capability to cram more into the same space. Love the freedom to splice the display in more rows, was a little disappointed that even with ICS they still have the 5x4 grid :/
IMO better but it is obviously a personal choice - I like animations and eye candy - some like every thing just stock.
To me, android is about customisation.
I like the ability to landscape the home screen - too bad it lags so much.

I love this launcher but theres no option to hid the doc any more D:

Hi guys, think the title explains everything. But there's one thing that it seems to be working only with nova launcher!
It could be that after the update your dialer icon disappers(happened to me). So go to your homescreen and long press on it. Choose Shortcuts and select Activities. Find Google dialer, tap on it and select Phone(1st one in list).

Haha, way to hammer the point home. I actually came back here to post that it indeed does work just dandy on Sense as well!
Hmmm... too bad it doesn't seem to work on the dual SIM variant of HTC One, also running Android 4.4.2 + Sense 6.0.
