Just got an e-mail from Google announcing there's a new Google Wallet update that allows support for any credit card (finally).
But my device is rooted and I can not download it from the Play Store. Anyone have the APK so I can sideload? Thanks
this needs to be in q&a
It allowed me to DL from the play store. Odd.

You can install if you connect to the play store from the web browser on your phone or your pc. Just did it from my phone.

I'm using a Verizon GN with AOKP Jellybean rom installed.
When I visit the Play Store on my PC and try to send the app to my phone, I get the error "This item is not available on your carrier." when trying to select my device.

I installed from play store, im running Eclipse Nightlys
It doesn't work for me it just gets stuck at adding account. I haven't been able to use Google wallet for months because of the same issue. Before it would get past the adding account then get stuck at initializing device. I don't get it.

I've been using it for a couple months have it setup on a friends phone too with no issues at all maybe change roms?

You're using AOKP's Jellybean 1.0? And are you on Verizon? Strange... thanks for the .APK I may just use that. But, for security reasons, I'd like to get it straight from the play store.

Is it just me or are other us gnex owners not seeing devices as an option on Google play? I can see the option from my computer but not on my phone. Is this normal? Sucks if I want to buy something offered there that I have to get on a PC to do it.

Access Play Store from device using same Google account. Then wait a few hours and it will show up online in your browser Play Store. The tip is in Google's knowledge base.

After I cleared Google Services Framework and updated to 4.2.1 I noticed that my Nexus was also not listed online. After finding the tip I just accessed Play from my device. After a couple of hours it still was not listed. But it showed up overnight.

When I try to download apps from the Play Store Web page (using WiFi), they don't download to my phone the way they used to. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
What do you mean the way the used too? Do you mean they just don't download at all?

What's New
The most notable and immediately apparent new feature is the long overdue ability to remove apps you've previously downloaded from the All Apps list. If you like to try a lot of apps, that list is likely very cluttered. With the new Google Play, you can trim it to your heart's content.

Very welcomed update! Works great. Download at source ^^

Make a backup before trying!
Anyways, you can try..
Goto system/app, rename play store apk (i always just add ".bac")
Reboot. Use a root explorer, rename new play store, drop it into system/app. Reboot again. Should be good
almost forgot, set permissions too. rw r r
^^^^that's how I updated to the new gmail
for the new market I believe, I just had to install it (overwrite)

Of course it doesn't unauthorize you from it, it just removes it from the list. And protip: Market->Settings->Add a PIN, Enter PIN for Purchases. No more (potential) unauthorized purchases. In-App or from the market app.
The Note II supposedly has NFC support, but the Google Wallet app from Google Play still says it can't be used.
Is there any way to use Google Wallet on the AT&T Galaxy Note II?
Came here to ask this too... I googled as well and found this

Try THAT (changing the buildprop to a Galaxy Nexus after root)? I don't know how to root yet, so I'll let you know if I'm successful

In case anyone's confused....
Uninstall Google Wallet.
Go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1769083
Change Build.prop lines mentioned in step 2.
Flash: SGS3-TW-US_variants-lib_nfc-fix-jellybean_4.1-1.zip
Reboot.
Install Google Wallet from market.
Add cards and follow what WarlockLord said in his thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2031127

I'm saying that Google Wallet is not working on my AT&T Note II. I did this:
1. Reboot into TWRP and install the zip provided by Warlock in linked thread
2. Reboot system
3. Start up Google Wallet, force close during setup (the screen that says "setup may take up to 5 minutes"... etc)
EDIT: I didn't install from Google Play, I thought I did... but apparently the ZIP installs it for me? I go to Google Wallet in the Play store and there is no "Uninstall" option which means it must be installed in system...

yes you have to do it over again for New ROM. Restore from TiBu not gonna work
Anyone with this done successfully wanna make a flashable zip? Would only need to grab the files in the zip in linked thread and then replace the ones in hte old zip with the ones from your file system. This would help all att users and that user also so they wouldnt have to do the mod over and over, just flash the zip.
Anyone have a apk that works.

Thanks, but that Dropbox link is dead.

Which link? I can set up a new one with the Samsung files if you need them.
What phone are you using?
The reason I ask is because I'm using the GPE ROM on my M919, and it reports itself as a GT-I9505G.
Technically, my phone is supported (on stock firmware).
That prevents me from installing milk from the play store. I managed to install the Samsung account app and the Samsung app store and milk installs and updates just fine.
