Camera problem (hardware?) flashing Rom - AT&T, Rogers, Bell, Telus Samsung Galaxy S III

So I flashed my phone to 1.99 paranoid android and it appears to have some sort of distortion on the camera feed now. I reverted to a backup but the problem persists. I'm thinking it's a hardware issue but the phone was not dropped or anything so it's weird that is getting this distortion now. Anyone have any clue as to what it could be. I'd be out of luck getting it repaired because I flashed roms, correct?

[Q] G2 suffering from the same pink issue on the camera from N1/HD2?

Anyone else notice this? I own 2 G2's both have the same pink issue problem.
Hopfully this is software related?
Anyway, i don't think its noticable when taking pictures of things, not just a plain white board....
Thoughts?

Odd pixelated glitch.

So the other day I flashed cm10 again. After everything set up it went into the android is upgrading screen. As it was finishing up everything got very pixelated and when it finished it went away. I thought it wasn't a big deal. So today I started up brothers in arms and the pixels returned. What could be the cause of this? I'm using trinity kernel.

Could it be the kernel? This happened when I was playing.

Can someone explain these logcat entries?

Since upgrading to 4.3 I've been getting random reboots when my phone was rock solid on 4.1.2. I'm trying to find the source of the problem, but they are happening without any rhyme or reason.
I notice a lot of suspicious entries in my logcat. Please see the screen shot and if anyone has an idea about what it is, I'd greatly appreciate the input.

(to close) Dirt on camera?

I bought N5x 4 days ago and yesterday that showed up at photo Look at left up corner. What it may be? Dirt? Production issue?

I took off back cover (thanks ifixit) and used compressed air at camera. That "thing" was under lens.

HTC EYE front camera problem.

Main camera works fine but when I try to switch front camera nothing appears, just black screen. Help pl0x.

same issue here.. found out any solutions? opening the camera from the gallery app seems to be a temporary fix
Happened to me too. I had to send my phone back to the factory for repair.
