i am curious about the roms that i can use with my s3,
like i was thinking about CM10 or something like slim bean
i like both of the two i am not sure which one i can flash, like the slim bean because its light, but i have always liked CM10 lol.
So i am looking for some opinions on both if i can get them would be appreciated, but i like their are people who have tapatalk that says sent from sgh-i747 but i am not sure if their are running roms or not so i need some help on this situation. I am really stumped so anyone can you please help me and feel free to pm me if you have too.
Any of the ROMs in Android Development and Original Development are safe to flash once you have a recovery installed. Make sure you have CWM 5.8, 6.0 or TWRP 2.2 installed or you won't be able to flash the ROMs. Just pick whatever you like most.

Yes, there is a thread for it in development. It should be posted in the thread labelled directory. Make a nandroid too.

The only reason I haven't rooted yet (and it's like pulling teeth) is because I'm waiting for the OTA Multi-view update. I know you can revert to stock once it's comes and then update, but if there's just a simple Multiview apk to install once rooted then I'd have no reason to wait anymore.
Tried Googling but kept getting spam sites that leads to nowhere. And I don't want to flash an entire ROM if I don't have to. So does it exist?
Not to my knowdelge. Try Jedi x3.2.

There's not one. Its more than just installing an app to get multiview for roms, I believe its more of a framework thing.
sent from my NOTE DEUCE
Premium Suite
Its not just multiview, its Premium Suite a group of added features I think samsung has implemented into the rom. I have been searching for days trying to find a stock 4.1.2 rom with Premium Suite on it so i can compare it to a stock 4.1.1 rom to see what the differences are so i can then try to merge it into a stock sprint s3 4.1.1 rom and hope for the best. Only problem im having is all the 4.1.2 roms i find are tar files and the stock 4.1.1 i find are recovery flashable zip flies. I can work with flashable zip but not tar files. I have also never dont this before so... who knows
Hi,
I need help on how i can extract the stock Rogers JB rom 4.1.1, remove bloat and add my own apks and recompile it into a flashable zip.
Can anyone help please?
thanks
Go into the dev section and look for android kitchen. That's exactly what your looking for

If already coming from zvb do we need to flash radios again? Not that it's a big deal just asking.

LGIME and locations fc.
Thanks for uploading/posting this.
I do have a question, would you happen to know the files that are needed for the keyboard to work? I used your previous debloat as a guideline to remove files, but for whatever reason, the keyboard force closes every few seconds. I'm just kind of stumped.

Damn, this was the same issue that happened with zv9 keyboard and we just placed the default keyboard. I'm sorry, but you'll need to install a custom keyboard. LG keyboard won't work.

Ah, man okay. I really liked the Google version you had in the previous ROM, and even tried that, but haven't had any success. I appreciate the quick reply though. I ended up putting the Kii keyboard in the ROM.
So will the 4.2 android keyboard app work with this ROM? I had it on ZV9 but ZVB had no luck in installing it. I really missed it.

I tried sticking that APK into the /system/app folder in the ROM on my computer. But once I flash the ROM it just fc's constantly. I haven't been able to run the deodexed version at all yet because I have no access to any kind of keyboard once it boots up. I've tried using the LG Keyboard, the android 4.2 keyboard out of the Imperium ROM and the keyboard provided in your thread. Not having much luck at all. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I'm currently on lifeless v12.

The problem I'm having is that once the ROM boots all the way up, it wants me to sign-in to my Google account in order to access the Play Store and I don't have a keyboard to input the information with.
The keyboard at the link you provided is what I'm running Lifeless v12 right now and it works great. I also pulled the CM calculator, email, and calendar apk's out of the imperium ROM and the 4.1 messaging apk provided in your thread and pushed all of them to /system/app in the deodexed version of JB and had no issues with any of them. It's just the darn keyboard that's got me hung up.
Maybe this?
