When i went to recovery i just hit partition sd card and now every thing gone. if anyone know how to restore all files from sd card tell me please. huhu want to take everything back :crying:

Sorry... only way I could suggest would be to try recuva from piriform.com with your sd card mounted through a card reader not the phone... partitioning formats first. I made the same mistake once luckily I had a backup.

Does anyone have an image of the SD card that is up on a site somewhere. I messed around with the phone a ton and realized that i never made a backup of the fresh SD card.
I reset my phone because i was having a few issues and i want the fresh SD too.

Is the card fully seated? Did you format the card prior to using it? Did you have an ext2 or ext3 partition on the old card but not on the new one? Try wiping cache & dalvik and then rebooting to see if the files show up on your device.

Did you try formatting the card using the option in the sd card and storage instead of using RA?

you think all the dada will be good?
I've copied between SD cards in the past without a problem. I just attached the phone to my Windows PC in Disk Drive mode, copied all the files to the PC, swapped SDs and swapped back. Save the 8GB card and don't wipe it until you're sure everything copied over fine.
As long as you haven't created an ext partition, you shouldn't have any problems copying from sd to sd.

And what if you did copy files over from a SD card with a ext3 partition to your PC? Can you elaborate a little more?
I've had put a blank card in phone 1st let it format it with the nessesary file structure and then over wright with the contents of old card.

From my understanding, when you partition your SD card, you essentially split your memory card's capacity by the size of the ext partition. So when you mount your sd card for the purpose of backing up your memory card, you're only backing up the disk drive portion. You'll need to use ROOT EXPLORER or a file manager app that can access your phone's sd-ext folder.
On second thought, you should just do a NANDROID and be sure to include your sd-ext partition. Then boot into recovery. Create a new sd-ext partition (same size as the previous one) and copy the NANDROID folder over to your new SD card along with the disk drive backup.
Then restore your nand.

[Q] Strange SD card problem

Well, I have a class 10 16 gb micro sd car. today after installing the Increase Internal Memory mod by XtremeSilencer, I partitioned it using the Minitool partition wizard. after booting it can't recognize the sd card but detects it in cwm. So I know my sd card is alright. so I flashed the whole rom(Revoluotion HD ICS) but still it can't recognize the sd card although detected in cwm just like previous times. After then I tried a lot like formatting it,partitioning it by both CWM & Minitool from FAT32 to FAT-EXT123..every format. But nope..nothing happened. I even flashed the stock firmware.. still no respite. please help.. :crying:

Connect your sd card to PC as mass storage, and search for application for recover data, there are lot application available for pc. If you lost data from internal sd card then it's very difficult. For ext sd card still you have good chances to recover.
