>Trinity kernal
Everytime my phone reaches around 30% my phone just dies, then wont start till i connect it to a ac wall charger.
i have two batteries and at first i thought it might of been a ebay battery i purchase but it does it with both.
any help?

Try to wipe the battery stat in recovery.

I tried wiping it Ndnit continues to behave this way. Thank you for replying

Did this just start happening with the new kernel? If you are sure it isnt a hardware/battery issue, I would set it back to stock and see if that fixes it. Hopefully its just a bad combination of kernel/rom. Good luck !

You know what it might be the kernal I using the Trinity kernal experimental 537. I'm flash back to the stable version. See if that helps.

I had a odd quirk earlier today. My phone showed around 40-55% the suddenly died. I turned it back on and saw 8% left.. hasn't happened again but was strange.

Its happened to me too in the 50%'s. Its odd isn't it? Such a beautiful phone though. I thought nothing would ever separate me from my HTC HD2.

Am on everything Stock...
I have never gone into any such issues like this b4...
If i feel like battery drain or something like tat.. I do wipe cache and dalvik and install the ROM and fix permission in CWM...
Then it will be back again..
Its my Daily driver. So most of the time i will be on Calls and msgs and also Wifi and bluetooth will be on 24/7
Auto Sync on..
My Battery will Remain till nxt day morning and still i will be having 25~30% left out...

Lockups on 4.0.4

Never had one single lockup on my gn in two weeks of owning it using 4.0.2
Updated today with 4.0.4 ota and within hours i have a dead phone and wouldn't respond to anything. Had to pull the battery to reset.
Is completely stock, not rooted or unlocked.
Anyone else with issues?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
If you can, I'd suggest you do a factory reset (aka wipe the /data partition). If you're willing to root, maybe wipe the dalvik cache too.
Thanks i might consider doing this if it happens more.
Though i dont see why i should need to, given it's unmodded, google sanctioned hardware running google sanctioned apps and os.
Sorry but i'm at the point of ranting, after 2 years of a wm 6 phone i thought the days of pulling the battery were long gone!
Sigh...

Incidentally, the battery took a 20% hit in 30mins when it froze

I have the same issue. 4.0.2 (rooted, stock) was perfect for me. There wasn't any issue with it. Now that I tried the 4.0.4 OTA update, it will do a random reboot about once daily. It is pretty annoying. Then I decided to flash the 4.0.4 factory image from google's website and then root it shortly after. The same problem exists. I don't think 4.0.4 is as stable as 4.0.2...

My phone never made it past "Android is upgrading... Optimizing applications"
Would boot up to that, screen would wash out, then go black. Pulling battery doesn't help
Hmmm, been ok since the lockup, until tonight when i just saw the google logo on the screen... was in the process of a random reboot.
I have also noticed the wifi off when sleeping option doesn't work
Shame because the battery life is a massive improvement!

Sometimes people confuse a "random reboot" with the graphical shell crashing, I'm not saying that is whats happening with you, I dont know. Just throwing it out there.
Only time I've frozen on 4.0.4 when I was testing an admittedly flawed video.

Just happened again while sleeping. Uptime has reset so is rebooting. Battery took a massive hit at the same time.
Would love to know if anyone else is seeing this?

Same problem with reboots on android 4.04
i got the same problmen with reboots
The day after I uptated my galaxy nexus from 4.02 tot 4.04 it started rebooting twice a day. After a few days i did a downgrade to 4.02 and everything was fine. Yesterday I flashed android 4.04 again. Guess what? Random reboots!
Same problem. Rooted, running stock 4.0.4. Verizon must know about this by now if so many people have the problem. Where's 4.0.5?!

Mine seems to get the "sleep of death" quite often. I will be using it, shut off the screen, go to turn it back on and nothing happens. If I hold the power button in long enough it will reboot on its own. But sometimes that doesn't work and I have to pull the battery.
Running CM9 Nightly. (the one dated 4-7-12)
I get this on my KFire. Running CM9 Energy KANG.

Battery Doesn't to Charge 100%?!

I just got a Nexus and rooted, etc, using the toolkit.
I've noticed that the battery will not charge all the way to 100%, no matter how long i let it charge.
Yesterday for example, i used the phone till it died, then connected the phone to the charger over night.
This morning i turn the phone off and see that the battery is only at 92%!?
How can i fix this?!
Currently running Vicious Jell Bean v4.
Perhaps this is why there is an option to clear battery stats in clockwork, yes?

That doesn't actually do anything aside from erasing your battery graph.
Yeah from what I've read, clearing the battery stats using CWM or some other calibration app, didn't take care of the whole problem.
Any other ideas?

Does the kernel you are using have BLX?
That can be used to put a limit on how high a battery charges, maybe you changed the value by accident or it was set that way by the dev.

Have you tried doing a trickle charge?

How can i tell?
Not sure but i didn't use any other kernel except the one that came with the Vicious Jelly Bean rom.
I just noticed that you can change the mAh capacity in the "Battery Monitor Widget" by 3C.. it currently shows that capacity is 1750mAh when the stock battery states 1850mAh. Should i change the value now and drain the Battery completely, then full recharge?

I think thats what is called, My phone never goes past 99% no matter how long i leave it there so now when it reaches said 99% i unplug it and re-plug it inmediately and it goes up to 100%

what the crap...
I super-wiped, deleted dalvik cache, and factory reset, and flashed the Rev' HD rom, and STILL doesnt charge past 92%?!?!
Perhaps its the "Battery Monitor Widget" from 3C and the data stored?!??
Same happened to me. And it's getting worse progressively - first it was charging to 89%, then it didn't go above 79, now I can rarely see it go over 60
Since day one my phone never got to 100%, it always stops at 99%...
My phone was able to charge to 100% within reasonable time. I've changed a few firmwares with full wipe, that didn't impact neither the ability to charge to 100% when it was able to do so nor the inability to charge fully when the problem surfaced.
I suspect that problems started after I dropped my phone (wasn't a hard drop, just a fall to a hard surface from 0.5 m, no visible damage).
Is it possible that the battery gets damaged somehow?
Same problem

Same problem here, my phone charge until 84% BUT:
I tried with a battery of my friend that was at 95% and my phone showed it 60%!
The issue is in the way that our phone measure the battery, but i already tried wipping bat stats and nothing...
I also wiped all the things and re-installed 4.2.2 and same problem
Why would you even bother eating your time wiping battery stats? It had absolutely nothing to do with charge indication.

Screen/Network Bug

Hey Everyone,
I've had this weird bug on my Samsung Epic 4g Touch.
What happens is when im using my phone the screen will suddenly start to flicker and then id lose my service and then my phone would just shut down. After it shuts down if I try to reboot it, it will reboot and then it will shut down again almost immediately after using it. This bug isnt action specific and occurs at really strange times, I can get it to stop by waiting about 20 minutes or plugging it into a charger.H owever this ONLY HAPPENS WHEN IM RUNNING ON BATTERY it will not happen when im plugged into a charger. I know this isnt ROM specific because it has happened on multiple roms :/. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Info:
Samsung Epic 4g Touch
Current Rom: AOKP Milestone 6 no overclock
I'd replace the battery and/or check the phone without sd card.

Defective phone if it happens on multiple ROMs....take it back if the battery change doesn't work. You may have a refurbished phone that isn't up to par.
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
But I know it isn't refurbished....I got it the day it came out..what I might just do is wait for another nice android to come out and then trade this one in.
If I'm going to return this one, do I have to restore stock firmware?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Do you use battery monitor widget or use a battery besides the stock battery? I had this problem. I use three batteries all with different mah and I would use battery monitor widget to calibrate them. Once I have all my profiles set up by entering each batteries supposedly mah I would have this same problem. I was finally able to fix it a few days ago (after a few months of torture) by using the estimated value on the calibration screen in battery monitor widget. For some reason the app would estimate my batteries at a higher level or lower level than the battery claims. Hope that helps in any way..

Battery drops to zero during calls

I'm running CM9 and have had this problem with 2 different Samsung Epics...I'll be on a phone call with, say 38% battery and all of a sudden I'll hear a system beep and look at the phone and see it's dropped to 0%, shutting down the phone. I've had different modems installed and always had the same result. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.
Sounds like old batteries.

Yeah, it seems to me like it could have something to do with voltage or something, but I've been using about 4 or 5 different batteries with the same results.
Try updating to CM 9.1 Stable, CM 10 Stable, or CM 10.1 RC5

Do you think it is as simple as that? I am pretty bad about popping the battery out when I change batteries without shutting down. I charge them in an external charger (and charge the one in the phone overnight in the phone). I'll give it a shot and start shutting down properly before putting a fresh battery in. Thanks for the tip.

Not charging

I am running vanir rom and ASKP build 13 kernel.. My problem is that phone doesn't charge when it's on. I have to turn off phone to charge it and even then it doesn't always work

Ever since then my phone is not recognised.. It's says use device not recognised... Haven't tried flashing another rom yet.. Another guys running the same kernel has reported the issue in the kernel thread

Is this issue common for nexus?

Never heard of this happening. I know there was a time that my phone wasn't charging and I switched my charger, and it began working again.
