Issue with XDA Premium app - About xda-developers.com

When I click on a notification of new posts it takes me to the app. When I get to the app the header/nav is missing and I only see a list of forums. I can never check what posts were updated.

There is a stickied thread for that if you could please post it there?
XDA Android App - Problems / Bugs / Feature Requests etc.

I looked right over that. Sorry! I moved it to that thread. You can delete this if you so desire

No worries. (Fortunately) I can't do that, mods only for post/thread cleanup.

[Q] save/pin threads for easy access

Hi,
Is there a way to pin/save threads to our personal info on the forum for easy access? Pinned as favorite per say on a list in our information.
Cheers
on your computer just bookmark them. you could creak a folder and call it something like xda and put the bookmark in there. or if you downloadd the app on your phone i think you could favorite threads.

too many bookmarks already there are a forums which actually allow this feature of saving a thread to your favorites to come back to within the same site hence the question.
Call me stupid but there's an Xda app? Or what app are you reffering to?
yes therses an app.
or you could post in the thread you want to go back to later and just view all your post

Account not adding subscribed threads

I don't know if this is a problem with the xda app or not. But when I reply to a post or even create one I am not being automatically subscribed to it.
Could a mod or admin of some sorts check out my account. Or have I done something incorrectly.
Thanks guys.

I think you need to activate something in your control panel buddy.

I +1 the op...
Even if I reply to posts on the site, I don't get auto-subscribed...
I have to manually subscribe each post from the app...
And I checked the options yesterday...everything seems to be in place...
(Even I was about to make a thread )

If you set the default subscription setting under Edit Options to something other than Do Not Subscribe then autosubscribe during reply or new thread creation should work.

That's the weird part...
After I had setup weekly notifs, I hadn't touched it since...
But from the last week, all of a sudden, I don't get auto-subscribed...
When I (re)checked the option, it still is set to weekly notifs...I toggled it to "no notifs" and back again, but still no solution...

Same here as OP. About a week ago, auto subscriptions stopped working. All of my settings are normal, and unchanged. I have it set to subscribe with no email.

Thanks. Glad I'm not alone here. Nothing has been changed in settings from me.
Maybe it has something to do with the new XDA 2013 theme?

That was my initial suspicion and the first thing our server guru asked about.
The issue has been raised and if he gets to the bottom of it I'm sure he'll pop his head in here and let us know.
Thanks for the heads up.

Testing thread subscriptions
Just wanted to confirm, this is just on the XDA app since the update? I tested via web and the notifications seem to be working normally.

I'm assuming this is related to app development?
I think you'd get a better response in the general Q&A forum mate.

I was just about to post a new thread about this. Subscribed threads have always worked for me. I never use the website, always the app. Since like last week, it stopped subscribing me. Someone, fix this!

This happens on my account, ever since I got it (which was a few weeks ago). It does not auto-subscribe to threads I reply to nor to threads I create; and, yes, in the options, it is set to "weekly notifications."
And, when I do subscribe to threads, it does not respect my notification type (instant, daily, weekly). I have it set to weekly, but my Gmail account is getting spammed every day dozens of times (popular thread, haha).
~Ibrahim~
I gave up on it for now and I just use the XDA app with Latest, Participated to see every thread I have been on. I don't have any threads where I just read and never replied once so I don't miss anything this way.

Oh, that's nifty; I hadn't seen that on the app! Thanks!
--UPDATE--
Well, I think it's actually working now. I'm subscribed to this thread and a new one I just made, without doing it manually. Oh, and I realized why it wasn't respecting the notifications: just setting it to "Weekly" in options only do so for new threads, not old ones. Now I changed them all to weekly, *fingers crossed*!

Can't Subscribe to a Thread

I've tried to subscribe to several different threads recently and get the following message:
Sorry! This forum is not accepting new posts
Any idea why?

Maybe a mod closed that thread?
I'm sure that's the case. So how can I mark it for later reference?

The good-ol' fashioned way, ie, through my browser?
Or is there a way to do that from the XDA site, such that when I log in all my reference threads are in one place?

I was able to subscribe to a closed thread just now by clicking on the Subscribe to Thread link on the top of the page. I am using the XDA2013 theme.
I've started subscribing to threads I actively use instead of flicking through participated section instead. This is where a problem has arisen.
I don't want notifications from these topics cause my phone won't shut up otherwise, so I set them to receive no notifs yet I have them come through instantly anyway. It happens the same on both my S2 and my Xperia S, so that leads me to believe that it's a problem with the app. Anyone know if there's a way to sort it out so I don't get notifs from them?

Cannot subscribe to a certain thread
When I click subscribe in a thread I get following error message: Our records show that you have already registered under the name of cptberlin. If you have lost your password, click here. If you would like to modify your profile, click here. But the sidebar shows that I'm actually logged in. When I try to repeat I get rated as there seem to be too many requests from my browser. Sorry but I cannot understand all this as I'm quite new to all this.
What can I do?
Thank you very much in advance!

xda android app

hey all , on the xda premium app and my S3 1747m i get a notificantion
" blalba has replied to you subscribed thread:"
i click the notification but the pae never loads , anyone had a problem like this ?
That's been an error within the app for ages now.
Just clear the notification and open XDA manually to view it.
I'm a product of the system I was born to destroy!
how do you find the reply to the message ?

Oh sorry, I meant topics only...
Well, if you have too many subsrciptions, you can unsubscribe from threads that you don't want to follow anymore...
Doesnt serve much purpose if you have subscribed yet unread threads...

Can you post all XDA app issues in the XDA app thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=841646
Thanks

Hide thanked users list on XDA app

Please hide those users who have thanked in a particular topic
It becomes too clumsy to goto bottom of those posts
Example-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809
Instead show totally thankful hits and an option to download those huge thanked stuff again
Sent from my SM-N900 using XDA Free mobile app
As a request please enable / open my last thread where I can suggest best.
It has more suggestions on mobile app for best. Keeping multiple threads confuses me. Can suggest only for best of XDA
