Yeah,yeah i know, q&a blah,blah,blah...i posted this there too because I'm that desperate, does someone, ANYONE have an aosp/cm style mms.apk(the one that has avatars on message screen) that can be installed side by side with a stock tw mms.apk???????? Tearing my hair out here guys...

Naw..you wont...one is a paid app, and neither can be modded and they have notification problems...scrapped that idea..but.....if anyone knows what xml to edit in the mms apk to up the mb limit it would be fantastic

Isn't it the /res/xml/mms_config.xml ...... not for sure tho....but sounds like it would be there

I'm in a 12 step program for Flashaholics, I relapsed...

Noticed one thing I don't like

So I'm pretty darn happy with my note. What I don't like is that I can't do quick replies with texts (in the status drop down) like I could using the AOKP rom on my Epic 4G touch.

Flash jellybomb rom. It has the pop up feature for texts :thumbup:

You can hit menu, add text, hit "text templates" and select a quick reply. I think they can be edited in settings somewhere.
Not as easy as a dropdown, but at least it's there.
Edit: or did you already know about that and were just noting that it takes a few steps to get there...if so, sorry.

I just use handcent.

I'm talking about how in aokp you get a notice of an sms in the notification bar and you can reply from the notification bar.

[APP] [MOD] sgs3 mms

I just swapped the bubble styles and backgrounds with from the siii mms, just some nicer looking bubbles & backgrounds. Compatible with Jedi jelly & most Jb touchwiz ROMs. Pulled from embryo 6.1. Will make a flash able zip if someone tells me how :/ for now mount r/w on /system then put it in the /system/apps, overwrite, reboot.

tried to resize these because the bubbles are a bit too big from the siii, but the bubbles ended up tearing and stretching after resizing so just stick to this till i figure it out

What file browser are you using? Either way, you can go into the settings of the browser, go to root settings if there is one, and you might find on option that mounts system partition for write

I have tested this with mms and it has worked, nothing in the app itself was modified except for the .pngs for the bubbles, so to say that broke mms is a little far fetched. Maybe you should flash another radio? Check mms settings?

Hi guys I hope u guys are enjoying rubbing your new s4 in the face of all those iPhone users in sure am I'm in love with the phone currently running infamous but one thing an iPhone user will always bring up besides their cool cases are the emoijis which I quite enjoy. So I'm sharing this which I found back when I had my s3 which also works on our s4 I take no credit for any of it just sharing something I found pretty cool

I usually pull down the notification bar and click on input settings. Click on the emoji keyboard and then it'll pop up. When you click on the back button it returns back to the keyboard you were using.

I like kii too. But I like how this keyboard shows all the emoji that are visible in android. Like some of the ios 6 emoji aren't visible on android.

Yes I've tried like every emoji keyboard this was my favorite lol simple and it I'm able to see it a lot of them only show you the codec

Go SMS pro app

I just got this new msg app and I like it so far. Only problem is I can't get notification light to light up and Is there a way when I wake the phone up and I have a msg if it comes up on the lock screen like it originally did? I do have another notification light app can't remember name light something. If that helps anything.

No! I send very large group messages all the time with Go SMS Pro.
