No, takju / yakju = GSM. You'll have to wait for Sprint for an official JB build or flash a custom ROM.

Dammit. Is there any way to get it at all fir real?

Unlock bootloader, flash custom recovery, flash a 4.1 ROM from the Sprint Galaxy Nexus Development forum.

This update is for takju phones. I got the update on the Galaxy Nexus I just received an hour ago at Google I/O. Mine is updating now.
So we DO flash it?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
So we need to be on takju. And is this just an update or a full firmware? Its quite large.
So this is the OTA being pushed to those GNex given out at I/O today then... This can't be final software. Wondering what flashing this update will do to our ability to get the later update... or if we'll be able to flash the official one after or accept an OTA... So many questions left unanswered.
What's jelly bean look like

[REQ] Galaxy S3 Messaging app

Hello,
I spend a lot of time in the messaging apk and i fell in love with the stock one from the S3.
So naturally, would it be hard to port it? And if it isn't, is somebody willing?
Id be happy with an inverted MMS.apk

I had this issue got a replacement and all is good. If a new device I would go with the nexus 4.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
are you using stock rom? if not, might wanna try stock rom to see if it is hardware issue or not.
and if you wish to replace your phone, might as well go with nexus 4 like everyone mentioned above. it is a fantastic phone.
I am on xylon 16.it appears on stock rom too..i cant go with nexus 4.because it costs 749$ in our country.and galaxy nexus=500.. Is it ok to find from dubai or buy from ebay? What do you think about Xiaomi Mi2 or Droid Razr Hd or Galaxy siii ?

Hi I have the youtube2 app from the sprint S3 Jellybomb rom and I was wondering if we could get it to work on the GNex?
What's the difference?

Should try TubeMate its just YouTube but with download option built in an it works on all android devices, not available on play store you will have to Google it then you just get updates through the app itself.
