Please guys. Let's keep this peaceful as it has been. Neither I, nor do AC want to deal with this. If he wanted it posted, he would post it.
Thank you.

Here's something to make order in forums

Hi everyone!
Some of you may know my virtual identity because I try to answer a lot of questions that people have in this forum. Anyways I moved on to the sensation (I know it's older but development is amazing) because my screen was terrible even after replacements and even though our development is starting to pick up (thanks to our amazing devs here) the phone itself has caused me to move on.
Back to the point, in the sensation forum, they have this sticky that I think helps tremendously with keeping order, preventing flaming, etc. the link is below and I think it would help if something like that was put here as well.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1194325
Farewell and thanks to community, Allgamer, raverx3x,m&s, Eugene, racing1399, whitehawx, tdj, and others I'm missing out!
Can we do this? The flaming is more than a handful of usual suspects.
I like this.
To many kids on xda it reminds of being in high-school, and I don't like it.

I like this too!

Unfortunately this probably won't happen. But I couldn't agree more, this would be a step in the right direction.

I would be beyond happy if this was implemented and worked in our forums. Thanks for posting this. Give me a little bit of hope.

Bounty threads brought us raver, who is working on aosp ics, and is damn close. Bounty threads can go either way. Can't forget about Eugene either, he's done some great things for us.

I agree that we have had some successful bounty threads....however...more are not needed..we have bought enough devs

Obviously you two aren't some of the good people I was speaking of. And I don't think of it as a downgrade, yeah the sgs2 is better in my opinion a well, I just was ready for something new. Still sammy, still ics. But thanks for the kind words!

Lol no this does not belong in the development section.... it belongs in the general android software dev forum, not the e4gt dev forum. And you should have posted in the right place to begin with, mods have better things to do than monitor for things posted in the wrong place... if you want it moved report it and ask nicely

[DISCUSSION][KERNEL]OC/UV up to 1.83GHz h0tcakez JB | 3.0.43 For Hercules

As some of you may know flappjaxxx had created a Hercules specific kernel for our phone with OC/Uv capabilities. Unfortunately only after 1 day of dealing with a few xda members he has decided to shut it down. I just like to say one thing about this we have to remember these developers do things that they may like and then they share it with us. If it does not meet your satisfaction I would suggest you then find a way to make it fit your needs and definitely not complain.
With that said he informed me that updates if any(I asked him to not stop for Hercules) can be found on his goo.im page http://goo.im/devs/flappjaxxx/t989
Thanks flappjaxxx for giving us a choice if only for a day... Not trying to have this be a back and forth just letting people know he will try and do updates when they are needed I guess and where to find it.
If you want to discuss anything about the kernel since the thread was closed feel free to get it started in here... To me the vibration is better than the other custom kernel and interactive makes my screen react faster. I do not have the lag I was having before, still checking out battery life of course
Peace!
It's ashamed that the tread had to closed that quick. Begger can't be chooser and I can't blame flapp for doing so.

Yes.. Some people are so ignorant and inconsiderate. Ugh... I would of done the same thing.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
We had 1 choice of kernels the man gave us another one and because it was not the same as DAGr8 you complain... If it was the exact same then why even post it? Sorry it just did not make sense to me nor does alot of stuff I read here but maybe its just me...
Why are people so rude? It's one thing to offer constructive criticism, but to unnecessarily bash someone's work because you don't agree with it? It's ridiculous. I'm glad that this kernel will still be updated every now and again. My phone's running a lot smoother since I flashed it.

Its 4.0.4?
I also flashed this kernel a few hours ago and I'm really impressed, especially on how quick it puts my phone into deep sleep. This will definitely improve battery life and the performance in general is amazing!
I hope he sees how much his work is appreciated and not let the ignorant MF's out there get to him. People need to be more appreciative and respectful of the devs that put in the work they do

Why Dont our notes have this feature????

So someone sent me and my buddy who both have stock rooted notes a group message... He has Verizon I have sprint.... On mine the messages and replies came as individual texts on host they came in the stock message app as a group message similar to how they do on iPhone..... I want this featura and assume its only software deep..... What can be done..... A screen shot is attached to demonstrate how his showed up.... Any questions please ask!!"

dude ur in the completely wrong thread. questions are to be put in the q&a (QUESTIONS and answers) section.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
Honestly it's a dangerous feature. I'm glad we don't have it but you are right. I'm sure it's something one of the devs could work out. Try getting the messaging app out of a Verizon rom and see if it works.
But yeah. . Q&A
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app

OK I mean that just mean look at who your going to text before you text Lol... Once a group message is already started random ppl won't find their way in... Like in the example I posted that was a thread with me and two buddies. I Dont see how its any more dangerous than texting period... By that logic you could accidently send one of them your latest bud, bud. Lol

I Dont think I should have to download and app for a feature that's supposed to be stock because its on every other version of note 2 just not sprint. I prefer stock.... To each his own though. I'm happy your satisfied

Right and this would ease the hate and disgust I had for iPhone group messages just because if I was invited to one by say a random person just telling ppl about a part... I would get 20+ threads created from the people respond to the group messages. So I hated it. With this. I would receive them in one easy thread more conveniently!

Any way back in topic... I extracted the MMS off a Verizon ROM.. And as far as sending a group message it starts off with Thr functionality working. And when they reply they come in individual threads but styled like the group message way. And then original message I started says anonymous instead of "so &so + 2 more" and its basically a dead thread in my messages that cant be used... Can a dev look into this please? Maybe there's another file that was supposed to be moved with it, or something idk. Please help!!
