Where i get 2.3.7 original Xperia Arc?

Topic of title, Where i get 2.3.7 original Xperia Arc?
Without cyanogenmod, original Sony Ericsson.

No. .62 firmware (2.3.4) was probably the last gingerbread before ICS.

Than another newby question, what is the difference of 2.3.5 and 2.3.7? :/
And, where i get original updated Xperia Arc ROM? And how to flash, i saw a thread that says to flash all old files o.o
But... ;/

Just use SEUS or PC Companion and update

[Q] help on how to root to ics latest---not good with these android terms

[*1]i have a sony xperia arc lt15i and would like to update it to ics that is rooted.
[*2]i tried updating the stock ics on the official website but it said i have the latest software(liars..hahaha)
[*3]i am running on the stock 2.3.4
[*4]all these terms like about rooting blow my my head off...someone help with step by step...learn fast...kinda

if you want to try the stock ICS then you need to flash a 4.0.4 firmware with the help of a software called flashtool..there are many guides which will help you.

Debranding the Arc S ?

Hi just wondering if anybody knows how to debrand the 3 UK Xperia Arc S. I have de-branded an Xperia Play before but I cannot find the approriate files for the Arc S. Any help would be appreciated.

First of all, you should ALWAYS post your doubts in the Q&A forum.
To debrand the phones flash with flashtool any generic firmware, here you have 4.0.4 firmware for the ARC S : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1583010

Once installed and debranded.
look for how to root once you got this you can get rid of all the bloatware that is installed.

Yeah I will do but I have read that currently there's now way to root the 4.0.4 update yet for xperia arc s when i had the Play i used one click root.

Yes , you can root 4.0.4.
You have to flash 4.0.4 ftf, after that you have to flash 4.0.3 kernel ( you have to download 4.0.3 ftf and flash just kernel with flashtools).
After you have your arc/arc s with 4.0.4 rom and 4.0.3 kernel , you use the one click method for the 4.0.3.
After you just need to flash 4.0.4 kernel and you have a full 4.0.4 (rom+kernel) rooted

You can't flash a ftf file in cwm, but there are flashable stock roms available like this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2425192

Use Flashtool. It's the best and safest way. Dont flash a ROM, through CWM.

That's Right!! flashing using flashtool is the safest way but i'm afraid of rooting the device again.. its a big task for me...
suggest me the easy rooting and also which kernel should i flash..

why would you want to flash stock rom via cwm?ok let me understand currently...you wanna install stock rom and retain root and cwm after flashing??

Flash stock .96 FW via flashtools....
Flash recovery by doomlord or doomkernel for either locked Bl or unlocked depending upon your bootloader..This way you'll retain .96 FW and CWM..via CWM fix root permissions...and you get what you wanted...

you can flash the stock Xperia SL ROM trough flashtool, set you phone into flashmode and flash the stock ROM
