I do the same thing with my rock case, don't think it's a big deal really. Makes the phone a bit lighter, plus if anything gets behind the case it won't scratch the back cover.

awesome. i was just curious if there was something obvious i may have overlooked. i'll keep it like this until the battery cover comes in

Looks kinda cool , only thing I would worry about is how far the camera lens sticks out and what surface you are sitting your phone on.
I feel a little bad for liking it.
Avoid dusty areas... Make sure your battery can't fall out enough to shut off either.

Do you hate the extra bulk of a case or have an extended battery that a case won't fit? Afraid of dropping your phone?

Just drill two tiny holes in the top of your battery cover and fish this lanyard through, then wear it on your wrist when using the phone. No drop, no break, no case, who cares?
** P.S., You can also probably pick one of these up at the cell phone accessories shop at your local mall.

Hmm $1.25, cheap price. When factoring in having to give up your man card with it, it is a little too steep. Haha...jk , not for me but certainly a great idea.

yeah im pretty sure a drop would result in the battery door popping off and your phone hitting the ground...
this is great if your concerned about the battery door and not the actual phone tho !

it's a thin film you put on the back of the phone to give it a brushed metal look unfortunatly it is not what i thought when i saw it i thought it was a very thin piece of metal you attach at the back
but it seems to be vinyl i hope that won't make it feel cheap

I had that exact "sticker" for the xperia z. That saler also has it in carbon. I really liked it and didn't feel cheap. It had a texture to it and those were perfectly cut out. One small problem it did had was that if you put your phone in water, the sticker leaves a residu and it kinda moved a bit. Now i have the white z1, and i really like it naked as it is. Maybe i will buy these later in black!

What do you guys think about this case?
Actually I just ordered on from Amazon last night. I like the S curve on the back and that type of soft flexible case. Would think it would hold up better if you dropped phone, but don't know this for sure.

It surely would! I have had this case for many other devices and because it wraps around the screen it protects the actual screen from coming into contact which reduces the chance of shattering the screen. Great case for a low price!
I bought the clear (transparant) one, it's easily get dirty, and it seems i can't make it clean,
It's good for its price, but maybe it's better to pick the colored ones

I guess anything like white or transparent will get dirty quick
mine looks different to the one in the op/video...bought off eBay (Australian seller, as I live in Australia) - as you can see the camera cutout is different.

Look like a transparent case with carbon fiber sticker on it (underneath to be exact).....

I have an original OnePlus case and I have a minor crack like you have on the side... It's not annoying but it's there.
Hey guys check this bulk crap out. I got my girl the blue nexus 5x and after using it less then 2 weeks all of the edges and around the camera are pink from the inside of her red purse.... See the pics. Going to probably grab a replacement from google... Should not be doing that.

Wouldn't that just be the purse bleeding it's color onto the phone? Did the purse ever get moisture on/in it? I would expect any kind of plastic light in color and matte finished like the 5X back would do the same thing? Idk just an educated guess

Won't that ruin the plastic and its color?
Use it softly with very light pressure. Take it slow. Sure I guess it could, along with anything you rub on it
I would RMA the purse instead

Its matte plastic, its going to hold on to somethings. I had a flake of something red get in between the case and the phone and it left a stain on the phone. But then I just rocked the phone out of the case for a day or two and it wore off.
Hey thanks for the replies... I know that these things can happen over time but this is under 2 weeks of use!
This is on my girls phone. No moisture inside the bag at all...just spent a few day in there.
I'm going to try the magic eraser out and see how that works. I have used them in the past and they d work well for this type of thing.
