If my phone is brought from TW and with TW Official ROM, can i flash HK Official ROM?
If can't flash directly, is there anyway that i can flash HK Official ROM?
Thanks very much!
As long as you've got an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery, you can flash any darn thing you want

no, u cannot. official ruus can only be flashed based on ur region. so u have to wait for ur taiwan ruus.
however, roms in our development section are not OFFICIAL roms but can be flashed on all quad core htc one x devices.

No. Firstly, the OTA won't install on the wrong CID and secondly, it's not been released yet.
As title states, now official JB is rolling out am I right in thinking it will be easier to update to newer custom JB Roms from another custom?
Or will I have to go stock to update HBOOT??
Forgive my nooby state, I have just sold my IPhone

When updates come out more CIDs will be available. You can check your CID with CID getter. You may as well stay stock for now if you are new and do a bit of reading

Hey there....
I have HOX VIA Vodafone.
CID: VODAP102

HTC Sense vesion: 4.1
Software number: 2.17.401.2
I would like to update my ROM to JB. I would like to use only STOCK ROM. Question:
Will my phone work as well if I will download and Install this ROM?
Thank you and all the best!
Yes, it is compatible, but remember to update your hboot first.

Vodafone have pushed the JB update so you'd need to go back to stock. You're not on a Vodafone ROM at the moment as otherwise the build would be x.xx.16x.x so it looks like you're on custom at the mo. Assuming it's Vodafone UK you can flash this RUU:
https://www.yousendit.com/download/UW13b241YUlZY1FzeHNUQw
And then get the JB OTA. Once you're on JB, you can make a Nandroid backup (as the JB Vodafone RUU isn't out yet) and then flash a new JB custom ROM

thank you, but unfortunately I always got EROOR [155].
I checked and I discovered my original version was 1.29.161.13 so I download the correct RUU from here but unfrotunatlly I got the same ERRON.
What can I do?
Maybe anyone has it on .zip so I could flash it?

There are many options there and I really don't know which to choose.
I need it to be stock just with latest official firmware. more then a year ago was the last time I touched HTC phone.
really rusty...

Well first u need to know your device Cid. Then according to that Cid you have to download the appropriate firmware. So first google how to check cid.
I may be missing something, but if it's stock and unrooted, why can't you just do an OTA update?

Why don't you check in software updates on your phone and see if there's any. If not, just exercise a little patience, it will come. I'm using a dual sim type and got the latest version Android 4.4.4.
I want to go back to 4.4 kitkat to do some testing. Currently on a sense based Mm rom. Do i have to reflash the kitkat firmware to go back to kitkat or i can just flash a stock kitkat rom?
Device info: HTC One M8 Sprint
S-OFF
P/s: Even better if the stock ROM is debloated

I believe the KK rom will misbehave on MM firmware
It's better to flash the full RUU to switch between KK and MM
