You can try flashing via the RUU (a.k.a stock rom) for your region. It should solve any such problems

Hey guys,
Just few questions. I have O2 locked and branded device.
I have successfully unlocked boot loader on my One V, also successfully rooted (i believe). CWM installed and old rom backed up.
Now I need to know how to flash stock rom Europe? I tried RUU Europe after root, but RUU was throwing errors and nothing happens. I tried rotted stock rom, all went fine except phone has no signal. I heard that to flash RUU I need to change CID, i tried and it won't change.
Could you please advice best route?
Also what is best stable fast custom rom for One V
Thanks
Hi
Is there already a way to de-brand a One V?
Since even with a unlocked bootloader there is still S-On
Regards
max
to again return to stock rom after rooting u need to relock your bootloader
fastboot oem lock
then get into bootloder mode and run the ruu
WARNING YOU WILL LOCK YOUR Bootloader and LOSE ROOT
dont just say thanks hit thanks if i helped

With S-On it is quite impossible to change CID to debrand (AFAIK) but the phone is new, so development just started.
Thanks for reply
How about custom roms? Which one is most stable and fast for One V? Also with unlocked bootloader and CWM recovery, is it just download rom, move to memory card and apply update from zip file in CWM recovery?
until today the rc 2.0 is the best available rom for our device

I think for now that the stock is all right for me at least... Practicaly the update is just as you said. Unlock BL, get working recovery, get SU pack zip to SD enter recovery and flash.
So I just got my new HTC Once VX and decided to root it immediately for 'freedom'. My issue is that after I relocked my bootloader to insall a new boot.img the phone will not boot to the OS. It boots straight to the bootloader into fastboot USB mode. I have done a ton of research and have not found much as to how to fix this. ADB does not see my device any more either and I have rebooted and reinstalled my HTC drivers. HTC sync is not installed on my PC either so that is not it either. I have tried rebooting my phone with no SD card in it also just to see what would happen. I have done a factory reset and also tried recovery mode. Nothing has worked thus far. Any ideas on how I can at least get ADB to work again? Or get it working again period?
Wrong forum. This is for the new HTC One that's not released yet.

In fastboot you use fastboot binary. Follow thread for my recovery to flash recovery. Then download Rom from dev forum and transfer while in recovery. Flash and boot. I bet at some point you either wiped boot or system. Both will cause a boot straight to bootloader

He already got it fixed
What was the fix for this?
What would cause the phone not to boot into the system all of a sudden? I had this happen after it was working fine. I put a customer recovery on it and flashed JmzTotemC2 and still am unable to boot up.

Sounds like you may have the wrong firmware. If you flashed JMZ's JB rom, you needed to upgrade to the JB firmware. A JB rom will not boot on ICS firmware and vice-versa. Also, you may be having problems if you aren't SuperCID and/or S-OFF. You can find tutorials to accomplish all this in the development forums for the OneVX.

Even though we have the same processor and stuff im not sure how rom compatability works between the two phones. AFAIK the kernels aren't built EXACTLY for the vivow_ct even though we use the same source (maybe idk what im talking about someone verify me)
anyways make sure you're running the correct hboot and proper recovery.
If you do have a custom recovery, try booting into it or go into the bootloader (press vol down and power) and go back to stock from an ruu
Are you S-on or S-off? What ROM were you trying to load? More info is needed than what you gave. The more info the more helpful we could be

I unlocked the bootloader on a htc one m8s with the htc one 2014 ,8 AIO toolkit by Hasoon 2000.
It worked even if it was for the m8 and not the m8s
The problem is that I flashed the recovery from the same toolkit and I cannot boot into the recovery
When I try that I get a black screen !
I relocked the bootloader now with the same aio toolkit.
Can someone Please help me ?

I can't do that because my bootloader can't be unlocked without enter to the recovery
it there any other way ?
Bootloader unlocking require to be in the boot loader and not in the recovery.
