I was also fairly certain the BOCA dev didn't want his work being put into other ROMs, did you get permission to use Tweakr, etc?

this has nothing BOCA rom. just use the manual installation.
BOCA rom and not work on my gt-p1000n

You may want to go ahead and reword the installation process than, as it makes it appear you are using BOCA parts.
I also still don't understand if this a p1000 ROM or a p1000N ROM.
If it is a p1000N ROM you should put that in your title. The words [MOD] aren't really needed. Just some words of advice to help people find this.

not really if it works with other types of tab. I have a GT-P1000N me and my work with this rom I install all the ROM here, and the only one that works for me is Overcome ROM. so I say it is for p1000n. recomiendame and placed you as the title. q and I'm new around here.

Yeah mate and I think the fact you are new around here means you should give as much information as possible and attempt to enlist the trust of a couple users to test it out and leave feedback. Its a big leap of faith for us users to just flash some new ROM to our devices without knowing more

this is not "cm7"
this rom is labeled wrong!!
it is a 2.3_r4 XWJPA release.
who actually made this rom is still up for grabs, but the one quoted in my responce is in no way aosp or based off of Cyanogen. In other words, not related to BOCA or cyanogen.
please rename away from the phrase CM7

lemmymet, my tester reported that the signing is currently on amend scripting.
you told me you could sign .zip, do you know how to change scripting to edify instead of amend??

had to edit cygwin, it was still on amend scripting, now it is right set to edify

currently I found a lucky guy who can test the rom for me.
signing the zip was done wrong due to old scripting settings.
checked everything, no errors found.
I got much plans with this rom, earning experience fast, so I know what to do.

Im currently on 2.3.6 open germany, so I can't know if it works when flashing from another rom/..

You're useing wrong update-binary, dsixda kitchen dont include good binary

tried the compiling about 3 times now, no succes..

nothing yet, theres a problem with the update binaries, so you can;t install it yet.
the rom needs to boot first to add more features ...
EDIT: theres nothing wrong in boot.img
I tried flashing without boot.img, wich won't work ofcourse, but, the same error came up..

may have found the problem.
kitchen can't handle the new script, wich is required for new CWM to flash.
any ideas how to convert the scripting after the rom is compiled with cygwin/kitchen?
thought I had the solution to it, converting using amend2edify didn't work.
still the same error. im getting tired off it.

I edited updater-script and changed update-binary, theoratically it should work now

Is it possible to port this or get this boot on the htc wildfire? i would really enjoy a sense 3.0 rom on my wildfire. Would be great if someone could look at it or maybe tell it a develper

It's definitely possible but would be a LOT of work. Some people were making a Sense 3.5 ROM but development has stopped as major resizing needs to be done.

ok... what is to do or what is difficult to port this rom? i thought the screen resolution is the same and it just need to get it boot. ( i'm new hear so i don't no anything about porting roms or something).

It's installing!

I think it's stuck at the splash screen.
(Before flashing the ROM I did wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache)
(I did try reflashing my recovery in case I had custom MTD partitions)
(After reflashing the recovery, I did reflash the ROM)

i've been searching for few days and I can't find single mod only for ink effect splash without s pen on our note 8.. I knew that some rom got the feature in it.. but unfortunately i'm not using those roms.. i'm using [multiDpi]X-Note build 5-MK1[30.11.2013] by soloilmeglio.. I know that this inks lockscreen splash mod is possible for our note 8 coz i saw the feature was available from another soloilmeglio's rom.. since I am very noob in the xda dev forum and I can't post in the android development forum then I ask to you guys here..
i'm trying to write english as good as i can and i'm sorry if my english is bad coz I'm not using english as my first language..

Well, if you want to be able to do that ,you will have to install civato's Custom rom,(you can find it in the developer threat.

I've already read that feature in civato's rom.. and also in the another soloilmeglio's rom, it include that feature.. but I've already love this rom ([multiDpi]X-Note build 5-MK1[30.11.2013] by soloilmeglio).. hehe.. and I just want to activate that feature in this rom.. The ink effect is part of the stock Samsung software and can be modified or turned off from the settings for the lockscreen. If it's not there or you're not running a version of the stock ROM, or it has been removed by your ROM dev, your only option is to install a ROM that has it.
But most importantly, since this feature is absolutely useless beyond just the general "thats kind of cool" factor, why are you begging so hard for it? If you want it so bad, just install a ROM that has it. Or just use the ROM that you are happy with and realize that you are losing nothing.

yes I know it sputnik767.. it's just cool stuff for my tab.. but I dont know, I feel I want it badly coz it's cool.. hehe.. After a quick glance through the first few posts of that thread, I did not find any mention of the in effect or flashable mods to add it. Why not ask the question in the thread for your ROM?

I'd like to ask in my rom forum.. but with my limit coz I just join this xda and there is a policy that noobie like me can't just post in the specified thread.. and first I have to post my quetion here.. hehe.. actually there is a mod for this feature but the mod not for note 8.. but note 2.. I've alrwady try to flash it.. and what did happen... yes my tab got bootloop hehe.. I'd really like to follow the guide in another thread that mention how to activate this feature.. but unfortunately I'm really can not follow the guide coz my limit.. sorry..:crying: so anyone please.. hehe..
