Another reason why SGP/Spigen is awesome... [screen protector and brand]

I've had great experience with Steinheil screen protectors by SGP in the past.
I ordered the Ultra Crystal for the s3 and just received it. See my attached photos.
Their presentation PLUS customer service touch is awesome.
They even used some sort of birthday wrapping for my package and got a HAND WRITTEN post it note from them.
I have never gotten anything like this from any other companies.
(Yes the package is bent, but thats from the mail - not their fault. Their packaging was actually pretty large and was lined with bubble wrap. I will just leave them under a dictionary for a bit and they will be fine. I wont get the phone until 27th anyway)

Yeah their products are definitely top notch. Has anyone else pre-ordered an SGP Optics screen protector and heard anything about the dates yet?

I wish that they'll change their mind (workout the problems), and eventually release the Ultra Oleophobic too.

Have tried some other well known brand including Martin Field,
I would like to say SGP screen protector simply the best on current market.
It's very good on touch sensitivity and sliding smoothness across it.

I actually ordered it off ebay, but it was from the SGP usa seller. So still technically from them.

ya i love SPG product except i don't deal with the own website no more.. i ordered a one x screen protector and been asking for them to send me another one since the original ones were poorly designed and doesn't stick to the curve edge.. told me they sent me another one but don't have tracking numbers for it.. and won't send me another one and said if you want refund u can send as back your original but make sure you ship with tracking or there's no way they'll know they receive it or not... so ya i gave up dealing with their website and ordered my s3 from one of their resellers instead ~~

Love SGP screen protectors. Have they mentioned anything about making an actual glass protector like the glass.t?
I'll be ordering one of their flip cases also. Think they look better than the official flip case, and the Zenus flip cases look gaudy.

Does anyone have a xo skins "case fit" screen protector? If so would you mind posting a pic?
I bought the regular one for my s3 and have been very happy with it.. a couple tpu cases showed up yesterday tho and they peeled up some of the edges of my standard fit protector.. pissed..
Anyhoo.. I'd like to see it on our phones if its a substantial enough change to warrant forking over another 14 bucks for a case fit one.. only had this dang thing on for 2 weeks..

Sorry, no pics, but I had a case fit from xoskins on my GNex and it did make a difference with TPU cases.
I bought a few Cruzerlite cases off Amazon, and the case fit was a perfect match. Sat on the screen just barely away from the case.
I would send an email to their customer service (http://xoskins.com/contact-us) and let them know you made a "mistake", and are using a case now. I bet they'll send you a case fit for free as a replacement.
They've always been great to me!

What are u using now for a screen protector? Have u found something you like better?

1. I bought a Diztronics case from Amazon, and it came with a screen protector. There's a noticeable gap around the edge of the screen, but the quality of the case and protector are awesome.
2. I ordered protectors from bestskinsever.com. $8.99 for a full phone protector. I've used them in the past, and they are good for the price. If you check their site, they have recently upgraded their skins to match xoskins / Invisible Shield HD quality. I'm waiting for them to show up, so I'll update later.
I think XO will only need your email address you used when placing the order. That's all I've ever given them.
Shoot them an email with all the info you can remember... worst thing they'll say is no

Actually I took your advice and shot them an email.. just saying I wanted a case fit and asked if they thought it would work better with my tpu I just got.
Got a reply the next day.. they are shipping me a case fit for free.. just told me to keep my spray and squeegee..
Really impressed with xoskins customer service..
I got that protector with the diztronic too.. I just hate dry protectors I suck at putting them on

Great company. The only skin I'll use. I dropped mine on the carpet sticky side down and basically ruined it. They sent me a replacement for free.

Agreed. And honestly its worlds ahead of other wet app protectors I've seen. Got a skinomi for my girls atrix.. thing feels like there's an inch of rubber on the screen.. these xoskins come out so nice..

Case fit leaves some exposed on the edge of screen so you can supposedly use it with cases that cover the edge like tpu cases.

Hi Guys. Just got a T989. Do you know any good strong cases and screen protectors?
I have been looking around in stores but they do not carry many T989 cases.

Goto amazon and type T989 and you will see plenty. Im a total geek and buy devices all year(addict). Get a xtreme gaurd screen better than zagg and cheap. Use the black fishbone case or the D30 case

That is a thread with a good case and screen protectors. The case is a Cimo S-Line TPU Case. It is around 5 dollars on Amazon, even though it is a great case. I also ordered a 5-pack of screen protectors for a $1.50 and they have been working very well.

Fishbone from E-bay. Little bit expensive but everyone say WOWWWWW!!! when they see it! Lol!!!

Accessories of all kinds are dependent upon preference. How much protection do you want? How important is it that the form factor remain sleek and attractive?
I went with a Seidio Active case, as I felt it would offer best protection, and a zagg shield, because the service we've gotten locally from their kiosks has been great.

Is the screen protector you listed here a matte screen protector? It says anti-glare, but doesn't say that it is matte. Thanks!

I just got grabbed a D3O case with T-Mobile screen protectors off eBay. The package is only 12.99, supposed to be all authentic. I've used D3O on other phones, they have really nice cases. I've never used a T-Mobile brand screen protector, but I can't imagine it'd be too bad.
Edit: they also have different colors if you don't like the black.

there are many variants on amazon. people selling it under diff names. but i like the added protection on the corners where a phone mostly hits when falling. the protection it offers on the back, and the lip is thick enough that if it falls screen should touch the floor on a flat surface. i have not had issues with the screen protector peeling from the corners either. i like that the blue snap cover holds the silicone in place so it doesnt slide off when in my pockets

Just got these today and I have to say, if I had the choice to do it over, I wouldn't buy them. I've always used D3O cases and they always seem like they are good quality, but this flex case, I personally think feels a bit cheapy. I don't know what it is about it, but I'm not a fan. I also usually use Zagg screen protectors, but I decided this time I'd try something else because I don't really like the rubbery feel of the Zagg protectors. BUT the best thing about the Zagg protectors is that they stretch which makes fitting them on with a case much easier in my opinion, also the wet application makes putting the protector on much easier since you can slide it around. This protector was a pain to get on, plus the fact that every time you FINALLY get it right, dust has decided to settle on the screen so you have to wipe it off or blow it off and by then I've moved the protector by a mm so it goes off to the side now.
So I'm probably just going to stick with what I have for now, but eventually I'm sure I'm going to go with a different case and a different screen protector. The dual shock D3O cases are probably much better quality than these flex cases.
Edit: I did buy it off eBay, so I know there's always the possibility that the case is a fake, but everything looks pretty legit to me. I'm going to head to a T-Mobile store today or tomorrow and check out the cases in the store to double check though.

a friend bought the D30 from T-Mobile when she got her GS2. I do not like it at all the buttons are waaaay too hard to press.
I had a trident on my OG Vibrant and it was the most amazing thing ever, I could throw that phone across the room and it was fine.
+1 on the Fishbone case. Just enough protection and it still goes in and out of my pocket easily.

In my opinion the Steinheil Ultra Fine screen protectors are great. Anti fingerprint and anti glare. I have had mine on my t989 for about a year so far and it still looks great. Just my opinion, give it a try.

I personally like the screen protectors from the T-Mobile retail store. Though a little pricey but it looks amazing if applied correctly. Had mine on since last December and it still looks new.

I don't think that Chinese case is a wise choice for the Active.
I'm just talking out my ass here but I don't think the Active has the ability to do the "S-View" thing because of the display technology.
That TPU looks hot though and I'll probably buy that one

Despite the hype and marketing. If you read the description it is not actually shock proof. Therefore, to answer your question, you would put a case on "this" phone for the same reason(s) you would put a case on any phone. hth

Thanks for posting. I plan on putting a screen protector on. I don't know how water may effect it, but I doing anything different with this phone than any other phone. I'm mainly getting this for the dust/dirt that sometimes gets on it from my gear. And for the rare possibility of water.

That looks like a good choice. One thing to possibly note is that this item is shipped by and sold by diztronic so it may have a different policy on returns.

Diztronic was who I got a case for my Galaxy Note, I've used it ever since. It was one of like 5 cases I got for the phone, all the rest sucked.

No problem. Yeah, for the price you really can't go wrong. I got it just so my N5 was fully protected during work since I'm a carpenter and deal with dirty and dusty environments. Seems like a decent alternative to an Otterbox. If I don't like it I'll try a different case, I mean it was only 10 bucks.

Wish this was available sooner. Already have a case waiting for the phone which is arriving monday.
Regardless I'm in for one. I wanted an otterbox defender but who knows what their plans are and with this coming out idc.

Lucky you, I was in a dead zone last night and missed the release so I have 3 weeks(hopefully less) to wait and the case should be delivered right around that time too.

Well at least you won't have to worry about bare backing it with no protection. I left work early in anticipation of the release. Managed to order the phone shortly after the release but had to go back due to a work emergency... Hate my subway job.
