Can someone please post the apk for this? Thanks!
Does someone have the version 1.5 apk for the Sky Sports TV app?
Also, do you think this will run on android 4.2.2 even though it says it's not supported?
Does anyone know of a workaround for being rooted with this? I'm running 4.1.2, so I assume my version is supported, but it won't let me in. I've tried OTA Rootkeeper and also just disabling root in SuperSU, but neither seem to work.
Ok I got skygo to work on a rooted device by using multirom. My main Rom was rooted but one of my additional roms is a stock untouched 4.2.2. When I want to watch flixster or sky I simply just need to reboot to stock......checkout multirom by tasssadar in the development thread.....any questions just ask ....glad to help..

That means our Flash 10.1 is Beta, but I can't find Flash in Market. So how can I update it ? Thanx
UPDATE: It looks like currently only Nexus One owners are seeing the option to update to this latest version.
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-hacks/70993-flash-player-10-1-download-droid.html
I remember being able to install the 10.1 update when I had the DeFroSt Rom on my phone that made it report as a N1. And I could get that update. Can't remember the DeFroSt Rom version tho

can anyone advise what files we need to remove on roms that have the beta version baked in? new market version won't install on my rooted Desire...
Usually called "install_flash_player.apk" in /system/app by most ROM developers. Guess look for something with the name of "flash". Then in /system/lib there is also a libflashplayer.so. You should also delete that.
Remember both can only be removed in recovery since they are in /system.
Why someone can see the update and someone can't?

Sense ROMs can't see the update (unless they're already on the final version). Anyone know the full build number?

the full build number should be 10.1.92.8
Is there a way to update this? As far as I know this should be also a security update.
I'm on 10.1.7x.x so obviously in need of said update - hopefully it'll kick in at some point!
Yeah, got it today, running defrost in Sweden, no longer beta version.
There are apk's of the final version of flash floating around on the internet, I picked up a copy from /r/Android section of Reddit. It's working fine for me. Can't give url atm, sry.

Yeah, I second that. I just installed the .Apk which I found from a link in a forum. there's no need to uninstall the beta which is bundled with the 2.2 update. The final version just installs over the top as an upgrade. it also gives you the option to remove the update if required by using the "applications" menu in "settings".
Haven't noticed any differences yet though.

Thanks for the link, installed fine on my Desire. Has anyone noticed any differences in performance since updating?

I suppose this gets installed in RAM alongside with the beta version found in Android 2.2 Froyo?
Can it be installed so it replaces the existing beta version, avoiding to double the space required?
Maybe a package that can be installed with ClockWorkMod recovery?
Thanks for the link. But flash occupies 12.5mb on my desire!! Thats insane! As it is there is so little space to install apps, and with this, it becomes even worse.
when installing, it actually offers upgrade, so I presume it doesn't install twice

ram is random access memory and has nothing to do with storage, this will install in data/app, if you have one already on your fone just use adb to remove installflashplayer.apk from /system/app/
so with froyo, we have Flash and Flash lite ? Any way to remove the lite thing ?

i see that , but when i saw the home screen after rooted i don't like it! it was like the screen of the nexus 4.. i don't like this screen, i like the original screen of the s3... there're no way to have the update from at&t ??? i wanna do the root but i must stay on the same screen not the nexus ones... thats not because its an unlocked phone?
Are u trying to update over WiFi?
yes. but everytime the phone said that i must check after 48hours
You can choose other roms that don't look like the nexus home screen! Try out Cyanogenmod 10.1. I really liked it a lot and it was really stable and smooth!
can you please send me all roms i can install on my s3.. i'll watch them on youtube to see which i can try

Just look at the threads here. There are so many that it is impossible to have a definitive list. No matter what you are looking for, there is most likely a ROM that will meet your requirements. Search and read. One of things about custom roms is that flashing them can be addictive and fun.

This is by far my favorite ROM that uses a stock Samsung look. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2412755
You can find your options for ROMs that keep the stock look here.

cannot update my SGH-I747M
Hi there, I´m new here. I´m from Gdl Mexico. Need help. I bought this model from TELCEL carrier but then wanted to change carrier so I did, to MOVISTAR. Tech guy from this place rooted my phone and installed some crappy firmware "Claro" (this is some SouthAmerican carrier). Said it´s the only one that can work with MOVISTAR for this model. And it does but ever since I did this I´m still running version: 4.1.1. When trying to update, says "device has been modified. Software updates are not available" Kies wont recon. And to make matters worse the "Radio" pre-installed app is gone. I don't want to switch back to TELCEL. What can I do? please help! I´ve tried factory restore, deleting Cache, OTA Rootkeeper, Triangle away etc...Someone help me!!!!
Just root and flash stock jb.

Is there an updated version of Viber for the custom ROM for Jelly Bean that'll work for the Ace 2?
I downloaded this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2022561
And I'm wondering if there's an updated one as yet since this is from 2011 and I can't update it via google play store as it's not compatible with my ROM.

LOL!!
Why don't you visit Googleplay Store?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...urce=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_term=viber
Latest update is from 2013-11-12
Um...
I'm not sure what the LOL was for but like I said originally, I'm on a custom ROM therefore when I go to the googleplay store, it doesn't download the viber application because it says it's incompatible. Now, the link that I posted was where I got the current Viber app I'm using from and I am inquiring on if there is an updated one to that.
If anyone knows, please let me know.
Thanks

Sorry for bombarding the forum with questions. As I've mentioned in a previous thread I just bought the gnex as a replacement since I'm grandfathered in and can't afford a new phone.
Anyway, sorry about that. Is there a way to get adobe flash without rooting. Can a apk work, if so could someone send it to me? I tried getting it via Google play previously installed apps but it won't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Flash is no longer supported beyond jellybean
There is a workaround follow the guide I linked to get flash working.
you can get the apk from official flash website, I use firefox browser after installing flash apk and it works just fine(most of time) I'm on 4.4 based rom
wish Adobe still officially supported Linux in general
Thanks both of you. I do intend on rooting just haven't had the time.
As for the .apk. Do you know if it will work with with 4.2.2 and other browsers or just FF?
Thanks.
PS
You said supported beyond JB. I'm on JB, 4.2.2

rooting your galaxy nexus will take no time at all
once you've unlocked bootloader and installed custom recovery(ALL EXTREMELY SIMPLE) you can just flash either the superuser root zip if you plan to stay stock, or ANY of the roms available all seem to come with root(except shiny, which to root you just flash the su zip after)
just wanted to let you know that it's NOTHING to be stressed about, EXTREMELY easy to do ANYTHING on the Gnex
I am POSITIVE it will NOT work with Chrome. chrome on android doesn't support flash playback at all, never has, go figure huh? the desktop chrome comes with it's OWN flash version, but not for android lol!
it SHOULD however work with the aosp stock browser, firefox, and dolphin browser(i think dolphin browser has a special add-on to support using flash)
and also maybe opera and some others. any specific one you were thinking about?
I can send ya the apk I use personally if you want it, no need to root to install it, just enable unknown sources in security settings in main settings, install the apk, and I usually reboot after that just to be "sure" is being recognized by browser apps.
and I'm not CERTAIN, but I think official support was stopped at/after.initial release of 4.1 JB, JB held the name from 4.1-4.3
Do you still need flash? I havent installed it and have no issues at all. Maybe it is included in the browser?

Unfortunately, no.
It requires LG framework.
I have the APK installed on Tab Pro 8.4 and it doesn't work (FC).
I found this the other day and so far it works on every KK ROM I've flashed. Both CM and AOSP.
I looked for the thread I found it in but, didn't find it. If anyone knows where I got this, please let me know so I can give proper credit.
It does NOT work on LLP. I assume there are framework differences causing problems there.
I am most interested in getting my remote to work on LLP...any advice or leads anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
These are flashable zips. I flashed in TWRP but, don't see why flashify wouldn't work as well.
