While I was surfing the web, I found an interesting but complicated one on "How to add ICS navigation bar to GINGERBREAD 2.3.6<BR>
This is a guide on how to add ICS nav bar to GB 2.3.6 :
Could some devs please read it and try to do some stuff. The link is http://androidandsandu.blogspot.in/2012/03/how-to-add-virtual-softkeys-navigation.html
Is it possible to create a flashable zip file to all users like me...

I want to change the notification screen to this one, is it possible? how can I do it?
Not sure I can see the identical screenshot, but there are very similar themes in JKay's theme mod thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154278
Or maybe try the uot kitchen?
http://uot.dakra.lt/
it is a screenshot from Steel Blue CM7 Theme for SGS2
how can I use this theme with my rom?
This is my baseband version: I9100TJJKF3
my kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100TJJKG1
build number: GINGERBREAD.JJKG1
Oh right - you could have said so...
Seems like you need a custom ROM first - choose one then the installation seems pretty straightforward, all you need is in that thread (Steel Blue thread)
If it's your first time for a custom ROM, read, read, read and search
If I will flash the custom rom and then re-flesh to my rom the theme will be gone? I have to use the custom rom all the time for this theme?
Sorry, I'm not concentrating or reading enough myself
There are themes for stock firmwares there - see post#2 - but not yours (KF3).
So if you want this theme on stock firmware, you'll have to choose another stock ROM (KF2 for example).
Yes, if you reflash stock over a custom ROM you'll lose the theme.
If it's only the notification bar you want and nothing else, I'd try the uot kitchen if I were you. I've not tried it myself, but it seems user-friendly, supports stock ROMs and you can customise just about everything.
I dont know how to use the uot kitchen, can you please help me?
I want to change the notification screen and bar to solid black, like on the pic I posted
Sorry - as said, I've never used it, and I'm offline for the next few hours.
Hope someone else can help.
Decompile SystemUI.apk, browse to /res/drawables-hdpi/ and find the picture you want to change, replace it, compile it and switch the drawables-hdpi folder in the apk
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
can you please explain step by step how to do it?
I'm new to android. I know how to flash roms and kernels but that's it.....
As I'm sure Bruflot is well aware of, his "advice" is something that someone new to this shouldn't touch with a bargepole.. I'm still new enough not to try...
Just tried a quick go with the uot kitchen and it will do what you want, just play with it. The "generate preview" will help enormously. If I had time I'd do it for you, but screaming kiddies await me...
@Bruflot - fy fy
I wanted to get a transparent status bar because atm mine is just black and ugly.
So Iv read around places and it says I need to all sorts of complicated stuff with the Systemui.apk.
I was hoping someone who already has a transparent status bar could upload their systemui.apk so I can simply copy it into my phone
Thanks
im pretty sure you cant do crap with it unless the bootloader is unlocked lol. if it just install doomlords kernal and cm7 and just use a theme
You only need to be rooted. Because there are many options on tweaking the status bar to your personal taste, I suggest the UOT Kitchen. It is an online tool for themeing and for the status bar, you upload from your original systemui.apk and framework-res.apk, make changes and it will spit out a new systemui.apk for you to install.

Anyone who knows if there is an flashable zip to install this feature and direct me to that link,. used to have this on JJ's Hybrid 3.2 but lost it when I moved to Omega v3.2 which does not have the soft keys or navigation bar feature,. can anyone help me please,...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1886684
This is the link for the mod that i used with omega v3 rom and it looks quite nice on my arc..
With this you will get xperia T lookalike onscreen navigation bar(blue), more beautiful font, and jellybean designed statusbar with stock battery design.
Btw,there are more options in the Themes and Apps section, however for me this mod look stunning..just remember to prepare a backup in case you dislike the mod that i suggested.
Sorry but you're on wrong section, please go to Q&A. Thanks
I'm reporting that.
You can try this way:
The soft keys are modified in framework-res.apk, you can use a suitable modded framework-res.apk for your ROM (find in forum) -> make a flashablezip. If you cant make a flashablezip, paste that apk into system/framework using Rootexplorer
This mod will hid status bar but while still retaining function. It will be transparent and hidden from view and the space it takes it will no longer be there. Also you will be able to access notification bar from any app!
Sounds too good to be true huh? but there is just one bug, just one. In the lockscreen you will be unable to swype down to open up status bar.
Big shout out and thanks to my man enryea123, give him a huge thanks!
Big shout out to CyanogenMod team and dastin1015 for the Rom!

Oh yeah, i am not responsible for any bricks, you know well what your getting yourself into
Oh and, please please this took a long time to make but it was only possible because of enryea123 and his tutorial and support and his patience with me. I am not asking anything but just say thanks to enryea123 for me
