Has anyone removed their Qualcomm sticker on top of the back cover? I want to remove it but I don't know if it leaves a mark or anything.

Lol, yeah the last person probably removed it. But better off without it, its annoying and ugly.
Removed it within a few weeks. It was an annoying to have. No residue left.

Oh man, no way. You got a sticker?? I'm so jealous.
Removed it as soon as I got the phone, though I'll admit that I probably would've kept it on for a lot longer if it was an Exynos sticker since it sounds so much cooler
I was at Stonebriar not long ago and they have the samsung event set up there. If you have an S3 or Note 2 and show them your phone, theyll give you a free flip case of any color you want and theyll customize it with graphics and a name for free also. Tomorrow is the last day and it ends at 8. Ill post back when I go again tomorrow because I didnt make it to the front of the line before they stopped the event. Im going at 1 central time.

Got my case, didn't get anything engraved on it though.
For anybody wondering, they only have gray for Note II, have colors for GS3.
All you do for the flip cover is "Like" Samsung Mobile USA on facebook and provide your name, phone number, and email address.
At that point, I just left, but you can stand in line and get your case engraved if you want.

I preordered mine at Best Buy Canada, waited a week after launch then gave up and got one from local dealer. Best Buy sucks at mobile.
Did some legwork today and found one too, worth the wait, very happy with it so far.

I've suspended the service and tried to use plan b with no success.
I have insurance with tmo.
Is there any way I can locate it+how much will it be to replace via insurance claim?

There is an app called (plan b) in the play store.. It's made by lookout it can be installed remotely and help to locate your phone

This app works bit ur service must still be on. I have used it before and works great
My favorite is Cerberus. Been using it since my D1 days....although its a little late now but I would recommend using it on your replacement.

Cops won't waste the resources for a phone that is not worth it.
Report it to T-Mobile and they will put the IMEI on a black list that it can never be used again...
I got a replacement via asurion
I'm not sure whether my stolen phone was imei blacklisted but they said it's now deactivated.
Actually pretty happy because my phone had tons of lines and a few scrapes+ scratched

That's precisely what I did and now..I'm getting a WHITE SII :victory::victory::victory:
They sent me a Blaze because apparently they didn't have any black s2 left...pretty dumb of them.
I think no apps can match 'find my iPhone' if in this situation ad i also have all version of iPhone.. once i try to locate n yes i found it back....
Samsung should have one of those..

I just got ny note back from Samsung I had to send it for repairs and I got it bqck with this nice surprise. Multitasking... it was not there when I sent it in and from the posts I've read the firmware is different. Take a look at the screenshot and let me know.

You definitely got an early Christmas gift from Samsung! With any luck maybe this means that we'll see an OTA soon (or Samsung will see a sudden influx of people sending their phones in for repair after reading this thread haha)

Elnovato when you got your phone back was it the same one or a different one that was a refurbished?
I'm curious because I need to send mine in for the battery as it's mildly warped and causes the phone to reboot when jostled, but it's lame as Samsung wants me to send the whole phone in rather then just the battery. I don't want to if they give a refurbished one back.

Can't wait to get mine back from Samsung repair center to hopefully see the same update if not a newer one!.
If it comes loaded with a December 4.1.2 firmware I will be doing a system dump on it for sure!. ^_^
Oh btw how long was it until you got it back in the mail? The tech guy on the phone said I will be it back in 2 weeks tops, I hope sooner though I miss my Note II so bad!. However I'm using an S2 as a back up lol.
