[ROM][linaro] cm10 unofficial build - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hello all. What I bring is the same as the title... A linaro build of CM10.
It is build with the latest cm source. and the 4.7 Trunk Compiler. This is just a preliminary post until I get my stuff in order at college and can do more robust builds.
Bugs:
So far all I know of is the camera does not work and I have a feeling it is because I am missing Proprietary Libs. If you know how to fix this, please PM me or email. Thanks.
Download (NO MIRRORS PLEASE):
http://austinconn.us.to/android/cm10_linaro
Thanks guys.

EDIT: goo.im has given me a space as a developer. Be looking for a new build
(RIGHT NOW IM REALLY HAPPY HAHAHA)

Reserved for later use

Should have a new build up soon to correct the camera issue

Sorry it has taken so long guys but I finally have builds running that do not have any problems. camera is fixed and such. Please enjoy

Thanks for the build. I'll give it a try.

Flashed over my current CM10 install. Running fine. Very fast.

If anyone can help with getting Francos kernel to build. Please let me know. Also. If you would like linaro builds of any other ROM. Please let me know.

excuse my noobness, but what advantages does Linaro have over reg cm10?

This is running super fast and I can't find anything not working... Great job man... I swear linaro doesn't make benchmarks any better but the UI is way more smooth.

From Linaro's Website:
Code:
Linaro is a not-for-profit engineering organization consolidating and optimizing open source Linux software and tools for the ARM architecture.
Basically, It cleans up, optimizes, and enhances Android (Really any linux system) at build time, therefore speeding it up and increasing performance.
Also, be on the lookout if you own a Asus Transformer Infinity, as I am working on Linaro builds for that

No offense, but is there any particular reason that you don't want anyone to mirror the download? Every time I tried it's painfully slow (6.0kb/s) making the total download time around 7 and a half hours.

No post about "Camera" update, Am assuming it's still an issue??
I apologize, Just saw post 5:good:

Very fast with milestone 5. The baked ROM with linaro would be nasty

Suggestions For JB Rom

Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone can suggest a Jelly Bean Rom for the Galaxy Nexus Toro. Currently I am running AOKP Build 1. I just would like people's feed back.
Thanks
Anything besides CNA and you'll be good.

JBSourcery Version 2.2 is amazing and has an infinite number of mods. I love the Steamworks theme.

CNA is a BEA$T. Try it, you won't be sorry.
Can't go wrong with CM10 or versions of it
Look in the android development section and read about them and what users are saying in the thread for them.
Would you let us choose what you are wearing today? no.
why would you let others choose your rom too?
Only you can decide what you like.

Nope. And it won't see it either.
4.1.2 is about it for our tablet.
G2x-CM7 Nightly 11/25/12 Build, Trinity ELP Kernel
Its not worth the time for me to build it blind, it doesn't run any better and if it's your wife's a100 you don't need the users. Other then being a higher number it offers nothing worth the hours to do it when 4.1.2 runs just fine. Plus the changes Google made again are just stupid.
And no, its not because I can't do it, I've built and run cm10.1 for a few days now, one of the first in the world.
IMO I'd do it blind then get blasted for no boots, boot looping, then hardware working less then 100%, crashes and whatever. So aside from trash talking I'd get nothing out of it.
I've said it before, unless someone hands me an a100 I'm not doing more blind work for it.

there a mod for 4.2 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34120482 .
Lol...OK have fun with that.

Can't find ICS roms anymore. Need one.

I need an ICS rom that's stable that is also overclocked (a huge plus). 4.1 and 4.2 are nice but they've caused nothing but problems with my bluetooth motorcycle intercom. I've tried the cyberon fix and I'm still having problems. Can anyone point me to a ROM with ICS that's still up? Everything I've found has a dead download link. I need it for a Verizon Galaxy Nexus
Just open the dev section and go to the back there bound to be one.

Some of AOKP's ICS offerings are still up on goo.im The aokp_toro-milestone-6.zip looks to be the most recent one.
You should be able to find any cyanogenmod version you want for ics here. I see CM 9, 9.1, 10 in the stable branches.

It's sad that android dev for the touch pro has halted.

It's sad that android dev for the touch pro has halted.
I still think this device can run kitkat, because kitkat and the latest jelly are suposed to work on low end and low RAM devices right?
It's a sad thing
If somebody wanna help I can do this.

Yesh!!!
A developer that shows interest!
But you should know that you might need some kernel knowledge.
Atm I'm quite busy with prepping for upcoming tests, so I won't be able to test flash currently.
Have you got a touch pro yourself?
I know kitkat might seem sluggish on our phone, but ART seems very promising, even for our devices!
It seems that ART improved performance for about 250%!

Yes, I own a Touch Pro Raphael.
I will test
I have a TP and I would test. If anyone could point me to a thread to learn how to code I would try to pitch in some besides testing too.
I also have a Touch pro, altough i dont know anything about rom cooking, i would love to test a rom!

[Rom] CyanogenMod 10.1

This is CyanogenMod 10.1 with fixed blur, hopefully suitable as a MIUI base.

Please give feedback so I can fork MIUI asap :d

I'm a member of the MIUI porting team, I built this CM modded for use a MIUI base so I intend to port it to this device..
I just need to know if it works so I can complete the 5 minute procedure needed to bring it here
Edit: I'm aware this is a tablet lol

Thank you! I know the software is fine but the only question is if the kernel is right, if this works it will only take 5 minutes to fork MIUI to this device.
I would have opened a MIUI thread but don't want to be deceptive like "test this CM first"

I'll try to test tonight but I might need to wait until tomorrow. Probably tonight though while my brothers are sleeping so I can do what I want.
