Fake SGP Neo Hybrid Color Series Case for only $14.39

I came across these fake SGP Neo Hybrid cases on eBay and purchased one for only $14.39 free shipping, I should be getting one in couple of days and post some pictures and maybe do a review. I contacted one of the buyers who already received the case about the quality, he replied back with the following.
(I did not realize it was fake, until i saw on the side "designed by spigen california". I had never heard of Sigen before, so i didn't know what to expect. Overall i'm impressed by the quality, only the white part is on top en bottom a little lose.. The case is definitely worth the money).

I received the case today and as promised I took some pictures, first two pictures were taken outside so you can see the actual color of the case, let me know if you have any question.

I was looking at these too. I was going to buy one but I go for the Ballistic instead.

Should be delivered by Thursday, I will check it out and report on the volume rocker and power buttons.

I could get them for less than USD 5, the quality looks good, you probably can tell them aprt if next to each other.

Sorry but I don't think those are very similar at all. SPG is TPU with PC border....That case is silicone, PC back, and ugly.

It is exactly the same samsung part,but due to copyright and license complications,factories do not stamp the samsung logo on them so they can sell them to other companies as well. Really? They are the same sellers on eBay and they come from China as well. Just because it's fulfilled by Amazon doesn't make it genuine.

Wonder where this guy got so many covers. Mine is getting a bit scratched up on the corners after using my S3 bare for a few months, good to know I can get OEM covers on eBay.
I have the urge to get a white one and use it on my pebble blue, just to mix things up a bit.

Ordered one not to long ago and letters came off the back, just a warning. Don't remember if it was the same seller but the covers the same.

CNN.cn you mean? I love that site, I've bought hundreds of oem parts for my phones over the years. I haven't had any issues with anything they've sent me, so I'm glad to see them mentioned here

Understand - 1 photo even shows proof of being authentic with hologram sticker!

I've had friends order the fake neo Hybrid cases and they look and feel EXACTLY like the real ones..... Why pay 4 times the price? I'm not trying to put anyone down or instigate anything just want genuine answers. You could own one in every color if you got the fake ones for the price of an authentic one.

Any original Spigen - as it appears this one - is a steal when around $25 or less

It was a good price, as I paid £19.99 for mine, although with the button problems so sent it back. Went and bought a fake one for less than half that from China. Meant to not have the same button problems.

Support authenticity. I guess you're ok with supporting China making counterfeit items. I'm not. There's a reason why it's such a big deal. Then you purchasing fakes have no correlation with the country's debt to China. You are a horrible person.

Hey smart one, I've never bought a counterfeit item in my life, learn how to read before calling me a horrible person. I was wanting to start a dialogue (conversation just in case you don't understand the word) about peoples opinion. Just an FYI our chin high debt to China has NOTHING to do with people choosing fake cases over authentic ones.....more than likely Spigen produces its cases in China so please quit trying to start a politically fueled discussion.

Who cares what people buy. If you can afford to buy the authentic then good for you. There are people on these forums that actually want to save money like me and I couldn't care less if my money went to china if I could get "Fake" products for half the price, and you have no right to call people horrible for that.

Lifeproof Case on eBay?

I've seen a bunch of threads regarding that the Lifeproof cases aren't out yet... But on eBay there are a few cases for sale. I'm guessing these are fake but the pictures look pretty legit. Any experience with these? I'm still new so I can't post links but if you type in "S3 Lifeproof" on eBay it should pop up.

I was about to start a thread and remembered there already was one. So since this thread I've noticed a large increase in the number of fake lifeproof's, I'm assuming some company in china got the specs and started making replicas. Looks like the prices are in the $40 to $50 range, so who's going to be the guinea pig and buy one? Part of me wants to try it since the real lifeproof cases cost $80, but another part of me thinks that its stupid to spend $50 on something that could be complete crap. Especially if it ships from china or hong kong, if I don't like it I'd have to pay the shipping all the way back. Plus I'd have to wait 3 weeks just to get it and possibly another 3 weeks to get the refund........
Anybody want to sponsor me? I'll put a big pictorial and detailed review?:laugh:

I'll be ordering one from a US Seller for a slightly higher markup. I can post a video review on Youtube, and here as well. I'll get it some time next week, as I'll probably order it with my birthday money or when my paycheck comes in. And hey, if you want to push $5 towards the cause, I wouldn't be opposed They look exactly like the iPhone version, even down to the packaging and colors available. one seller even mentioned that they aren't LifeProof branded, but had a 1 month return/refund/warrenty. In addition, Paypal and my bank offer a certain amount of time to make sure a product actually works (3 or 6 months, I think). I'm game for giving it a shot!
I imagine that the install would be the same as for an iPhone... and I'd want to check the seals BEFORE installing my phone... that'd be really sad.

Right, that's the whole point of this entire thread. These are FAKE or replicas or whatever you want to call them, that's why this thread got started. That's why they only cost $40 to $50 dollars. That's why some of them are from CHINA. I think I'll probably end up buying one of these once I find a white one that's being sold here in the US. I know they all are probably being made in the same place in Hong Kong or somewhere but I don't see any reason to order something and wait for a month for it to get here.

I love my water proof otterbox armor series . It's bulky compaired to the lifeproof that doesnt exist yet, but feels like it'll take on anything.

I didn't even know this one existed. I'll have to look into it. I take it you're happy with the case? Is touch sensitivity okay? I had the OBEX for a week and hated it. I like to five and would like to have something I can take on the boat with me that I don't have to worry about getting banned around or splashed. I have no intentions of actually taking it into the water.

Awesome, looking forward to the review. I was thinking of jumping on the white as well. I'm just concerned with it being a matte finish.
Anything that isn't black with a matte finish tends to stain easily which is probably one of the reasons why the white Nexus 5 uses a different material. I'm hoping that isn't the case with yours, so I can pick one up!

Looks just like the quick cover, but without the cover.
Honestly, the recessed button would annoy me if it weren't for the cover waking the screen. Its not all that easy to press. Other than that it seems like a great case.

I live in Toronto, and im calling every bell store in town tomorrow to see if i can snatch one, or else i have to wait for the online store to get them in Stock

I ordered last week on November 26th, and about an hour or so after got this:

We've received your order however, unfortunately, the product you ordered is temporarily out of stock. We do expect to receive more in the near future.

I interpreted it as "we don't have them in stock yet". It was pure luck that I happened to be browsing the Bell site for N5 accessories.
I'll post here when I get an update.

Hope these come out in the UK, would be nice to have something slimmer than the bumper case (which is nice btw)

Yeah I couldn't wait for your review! I ordered a white case from the bell mobility site.
We'll see if it's just pre-order or if I get it in a week.
