Use adb to move the files to /system/lib. Check the user rights of the files as well.
Alternatively you may use Terminal application with su and move the files manually to the given directory.
Some file managers fail, because there's something missing for su operations.
Good luck!

solved with app root explorer

from the headline, where is it? am i blined?
anothre thing, where do i find the build.prop file in the system folder, so i can change the lang in my phone?
thanks for any help.
p.s
sorry for any english mistake-not my prime lang.
Hi
To view system folder u will need root explorer or similar file manager. Inside the system folder is build.prop
Ordinary file managers will only show SD content.prob why you can't see it, there is prob a free file manager also but I only use root explorer as I find it very good.
Hope that helps

i use ASTRO file manager. am i loking at the wrong place?
Astro only views SD card contents, you need one that will view phone file s
The system folder is on ur phone not SD
Download file expert from market that's free
Open it ,on local tab just press back arrow in top right corner, then click the back slash this will bring you too all files.
Then click system
Hope that helps

you are great! works fine.
how can i replace it with another build.prop file from my PC?
Not sure from PC assume it would be thru adb but I don't no much about it
U can do it manual just put it on ur SD then copy and paste it to ur system folder ,make sure permissions match the original
Try root browser lite its free and works much better than file expert allows copy paste moving and permission changes.
Long press on files for all options

Friends, I need the original animation files Galaxy W.
Here in Brazil, operators exchange the original animation for an advertising company.
bootsamsung.qmg
bootsamsungloop.qmg
PowerOff.wav
PowerOn.wav
shutdown.qmg
Could someone put these original files for download?
Surely it would help very much !
Thank you for your attention and I am eagerly waiting for a response !
here's my dropbox
http://db.tt/1Th2ygiW
Or you can add this tweak to /system/build.prop
# Disable boot animation for faster boot
debug.sf.nobootanimation=1

You need to enable permissions.

First of all you will have to have a FileExplorer which is capable of going to root. RootExplorer is one, but you will have to pay. There is also a free FileExplorer which is capable, but I forgot the name. Just search for "free root explorer android" or something similar. Or maybe somebody can give a hint.

Please, could someone upload the files for BootAnimation and Shutdown for I8150.

New to all this so proceeding slow and cautiously. Recently rooted my Acer A100 with ota ICS installed. When trying to swap SD card and internal memory using Crossix directions I ran into an error msg that I haven't seen posted by anyone. The only difference I can find is his directions recommend using Root Explorer and I am currently using Root Browser Lite. Anyway when I go to rename install-recovery.sh to .bak it says Root Browser Lite is granted Superuser access but the operation fails. I looked at the Permissions for the file and they are rwxr--r-- I tried to change the Permissions to rwxrwxrwx and got an error msg that said "Changing permissions was not successful. Please note that some file systems do not allow permission changes." Would using Root Explorer change anything? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Sounds like a root issue, try rebooting, opening superuser first then try.... unless you already put the file there and permissions aren't correct, that will brick you! If you already did force close super user. Remember if all else fails you can use Adb.

Its because /system is a partition, not a directory, so you have to mount the partition r/w to get it in the folders and files on it.

Use adb to push the OBB file into that location, or use an apk like 3cx droiddesktop to either ftp or web ftp the files and folder to the proper location.

I found that pushing to the /Android/obb folder runs with no errors but doesn't actually write the files. So you can push to the /download folder, then use a file manager and move it to the obb folder/ I think it is /mnt/storage/legacy/download. Not in front of the firetv to doublecheck.

I've had no problems using the push command to get files into /sdcard/Android/obb/.
