[Q] need custom rom and firmware update

hi iam koti iam using galaxy y my present firmware is 2.3.6, s5360DXKJ1, 2.6.35.7 [email protected]#1, GINGERBREAD.DXKJ3
iwant to upgrade my firmware and need custom rom for me. i dont know how to make custom rom. so plz help me..

you can update via kies,and for custom roms you can just search this forum..wait ill post links in a bit

i have samsung galaxy w i8150 and i want to upgrade it to JB Rom (( CM 10 or CM 10.1 ))
how can i upgrade my phone to JB ???
my firmware now is gingerbread 2.3.6 and i want to upgrade to JB

first , Root your phone For Root
then install Custom Recoveries, and your device is ready to use custom rom

Hi..
First of all i am amature..
I came to Turkey from 10 dayes. My grand stop working for"not registered on network" my grand was updated to 4.2.2 .. so I tooked it to some guy who downgraded it to ics custom one not official and I think he rooted and changed the imei..
I am seeking advice since I found the compass get mad.. should I back and ask him to officially status.. now the phone is registered to network but I lost the 4.2.2 which I liked.

How irresponsible u r..??. how could u hand over ur grand to ur frnd just for network registration....
Now u need to flash it with the official jeally bean firmware to get back the previous version which u like...

U need to flash leaked or official firmware for grand. You can download it from general forum or from sammobile

Hi!
I was running stock 4.1.2 and was rushing to upgrade the 4.3 (I'm on N7105). Knowing what I know now, I should have read more about Samsung KNOX. I strongly advise you to read more about it especially if your phone is still under waranty.
Keep in mind that for now, it's NOT POSSIBLE to downgrade from 4.3 down to 4.1.2 or other versions. Tried it myself- doesn't work.
However, what just might save you is if you have a nandroid backup of your last system (like 4.1.2).

hii guys,
plz help me in the stability update for GT-I9082 4.2.2 official jb, coz i lost my old battery backup after flashing it recently
kies and ota are not working
help me with any other ways (ODIN)
if there is no other way, then please suggest me any other higher firmwares which is compatible with my device
other information are attached

XUBMJ4 Official 4.2.2 i have a great experience with this Official ROM , try CUSROM for a better stability reccomended : GENXXT ROM , GhostReconOps,PyramidK3 ROM
