Does anyone that has the Rom classic by tommytomatto V.0.4p final can make me a flashable zip for stock messaging I tried flashing a themed messaging app for gingerbread and it forcloses on me now and I have very important people to talk to. So can anyone please do it and no I'm not going with go sms nor handsent

Dude, do this.. download the classic ROM, extract it, go to system/app, find mms.apk, plug your phone into the computer, go to your system/app, delete the mms.apk, and replace it. Then you'll be good to go. :good:

I'm requesting someone to either point me in the direction of how or to make a flashable zip to change the notifications to 2.3s style in Skyraiders Athena 1.0. I thought it was basically pulling the framework-res.apk, opening with 7zip, changing icons, and pushing back to phone through ADB. Is that correct? Thanks so much for any replies

I tried to flash haxzamatic's theme and when it got stuck in a boot loop. I don't know if it is because of the mix of htc and stock apps that has it confused or not working.
Someone else can give it a shot, but no luck here.
Would like to request a custom ROM with stock apps (I like to pick and choose which I want), call log fix (no sms in it), bluetooth voice dial works, supports either file system, TW launcher still so I don't have to redo homescreens, supports custom boot animation, and not necessary but would be nice to support overclock/undervolt for CPU, maybe custom fonts, and of course for EB13.

Flash the deodex stock rom its prerooted and u can choose what u want to remove and flash the overclock kernel with it

But wasn't there an issue of bluetooth voice dial not working? And still no one has put up a call log sms fix for eb13.

exactly! might want to buy setcpu or titanium to remove core apps you dont want
Still need the call log fix. I can do the rest in pieces but it seems the deodexed eb13 breaks the bluetooth voice dial so need that too.

Hello, I am running Juggernaut v5.0 (2.3.6) and I was wondering if there is a way to replace the stock messaging app with the stock ICS messaging app. I didn't know if there was a way to do this or not, but I was curious.

should work. just push it with root explorer to system/app and restart.
make sure to back up the date before you do this
Hi, I'm using androidme lite aosp ROM and would like to use the messaging .apk like the one found in codenames ROM (I mainly want the pop up notification option). I used root explorer and tried overwriting the .apk but I kept getting FC. Can someone maybe make a flash able .zip that would work?

Ya, for stock. Its basically a stripped stock ROM.
I made this one for bamf ROM, it should work with any jb ROM but make a backup first just in case

I have been searching high and low for a working all share app for ICS. I'm currently using The Blue Kuban and so far the closest I got was finding a dlna.apk v1.2 and I put the app in system/app folder and changed the permissions to
User Read + Write
Group Read
Other Read
Then rebooted and the app appears to be installed but it crashes after I open it.
Does anyone have any suggestions??
Please don't suggest another app lol.

1. Nandroid
2. One Click or otherwise Flash a Rooted Stock Rom with working DLNA apk
3. Use ES File Explorer or another app to make a backup of the apk
4. Mobile Odin back to a recovery kernal (if necessary)
5. Restore & Install apk
Not an expert, but thats where I would start. I Hope that helps.
