An mhl adapter has a short microusb cable that connects to your phone. It has an HDMI port that will take an HDMI cable to your TV. It also has a microusb port on the side that takes your power cable (came with phone) to the wall outlet for power. So recap:
You need...
Phone
Mhl adapter
TV
HDMI cable
Microusb cable (came with phone for charge)

Can anyone tell me why I have it set up audio and screen show up. Chrome Beta and the youtube app both show up just fine until I click play on a video. Audio plays thru the youtube app and shows video on phone screen but only audio on the t.v and chrome just loads so idk. Also the camera app doesnt transfer to the t.v but I expect that. Im running sky rocket leak

IF you are not running a kernel for the t989 your HDMI out will not work correctly ..
So NO it will not work on a skyrocket leak ...

Gt-I9250 to PS3/Xbox 360

I am having trouble plugging my galaxy nexus into my ps3 and Xbox 360
I just wanna use it as a mass storage to watch my movies and play music off of it
Can anyone help and by the way I'm on stock 4.2

nexus doesnt support mass storage mode of data transfer. your best bet would be to find an app like imediashare or something similar to do across the network.

I need to pull all my music from my ps3 to my phone and sometimes I buy movies from apple and I wanna transfer them from my phone to my ps3 like I did with my T-Mobile Galaxy SII

try downloading stickmount its an app that manages storage and transfer data using USB OTG don't know if it will work .

OP. Alternatively you can use a dlna app such as mediahouse and push songs to your ps3/Xbox.

I don't understand what you mean. Samsung makes their own mhl adapter for this phone. I would say you could start there. It's made for the phone. Any 11 pin mhl cord will work..or 11 pin adapter on a 5 pin mhl cord. Amazon has reviews and there are trusted members giving you recommendations in other posts. Threads like this are just lazy. Sorry to be the bad guy.

Is it supported on any Roms? If so, which TV out product do you guys recommend?

Just get an mhl to HDMI adapter from Amazon. It mirrors your screen to any TV (or whatever you have the HDMI cord plugged into.) They range from $7 to $15. Not bad, and they work great. No need for an app.

It will not work on any of the 4.2.2 ROMs yet. You'll have to use 4.1.2 for MHL.

Nexus 7 OTG and screen mirroring

My question is does the new nexus 7 support screen mirroring? I have the n64 emulator and I want to play on the big screen but the mhl adapter I had didn't work. Also my other question is does the tablet support OTG cable?

It does not support MHL. It does support Slimport and Mirracast.
