You'll want ROMs which say they're for marvelc, NOT marvel or a510e.

some arent all to specific

and would you recomend this or the optimus elite?

I recommend the optimus elite imo, the wildfire s is a great phone but for me I like my elite better

I haven't had a HTC phone, normally only Samsung so I was wondering whether you think it will be easy to root it?
Thanks

Well it depends When we GEt our Hands on it .. i think it will be little tuff this time as different kinda mods hang in which we need to remove the battery but the creators of HTC make it to a Unibody that is The problem i think >>>!!! Lets see :

I was hoping for a response like this, being a Samsung lover, I know Samsung are good at supporting the Dev community so I was asking this to see if someone could give me an insight in to how HTC are with Devs?
Also how is the themeing on HTC phones because I know Samsung phones get themed quite easily?
Thanks

Will cm9 come for the One X?

I plan to get the One X in a week or two. So I want to make sure Aosp or cm9 or even Aokp roms will be available. I come from the Nexus S so I love development. That's why.
Thanks!

Probably, I'd say..... although I've learnt to buy a sense based phone only with the development of sense ROMs as a guarantee, anything else is a bonus....especially after what happened on the sensation.
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
It will be developed by a willing XDA dev,it would take time though, when you see that only now CM9 is fully working on Sensation...
So it won't be official? That's a let down..

What would be harder to do?

I was wondering what would be harder to port...............Touchwiz, Sense, or Aplications Platform(Motorola)?
I'm no expert on this topic but sense would most likely be the hardest to port. As for easiest I have no idea

Yeah I'm liking how Motorola is going and I like the way touchwiz looks but people get mad when I ask about a non-stock ROM on a Google device.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I'd say the Motorola I went to a Verizon store and played with the RAZR m. Widgets are nice and overall u.I. was smooth. Was ICS BTW... sense would be amazing and maybe stutter proof ( we do have a beast of a phone)

There's a guy in the dev section who has been working on the ports , still not mega stable so they all look like a pain. Give him a message am sure he has more info

NO offense but IMO, Holo is the prettiest launcher so far. Nothing can replace Holo on a GNex.
But looking at the progresses, sense seems to be the most easiest (or most worked on) so far cuz months ago i saw TW ports and Sense ports but nowadays i only see Sense ports.

not mad, annoyed. we roll with the nexus exactly because it runs vanilla android.

[Q] Sense ROM Port?

I Was Wondering Is There Any Sense Port For The GNexus(Toroplus) Or If Not Is There Any Good Porting Guide And Good Phone To et The Port From? Really Wanna Try Out Sense 4.5 Or 5 On This Phone
No. It's also likely not going to happen as there is no HTC device with similar hardware as the GNex.
Sense & touchwiz are horrible anyway, especially sense.

I would like one also maybe one with sense 5 because sense 4 was really bad for sense.
Sense 3, 4 are annoying. TouchWiz, yurgh. Looking forward to Sense 5 though. Sadly there will never be a working Sense port :s

best rom for daily use

Which ROM has no bugs and no touchscreen issues and nonforce close apps problem I want one I can hang for some good time while other stable customized Roms come out.
No such thing
