Ok, right now I am running AOKP. just wondering, if I transfer music onto my external SD card, how do I get it to work on this rom? I search for the external card using Astro but dont find it.
I am currently waiting for my SD card to arrive so I can't confirm yet, but I believe you need to create a "Music" folder in the root of the SD card and place your music in there.
Edit: music in the internal sdcard isn't being read for me actually. External is fine... I just realized this haha.

I don't think it'll work. Here is a thread that explains why Honeycomb is different from Froyo and Gingerbread in this regard:
www.acertabletforum.com/forum/acer-a100-general-discussion/2315-app-sd.html
It does work on mine, but not everything is moved to your external sd card. Just the apk, lib, and data files are moved, so sometimes internal apps library files are not moved...
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Gl 2 SD works, link2SD don't know what's going on. It doesn't recognized my SD card as a SD card

Nevermind i found a way to get into my external sd to be my default sd by playing around the cyanogenmod itself

So MIUIv4.1.2 was just released for our phones.
I have heard that the external mount is wonky, but somehow, people can see their sd card in file explorer. However, there are still many who cannot. The temporary solution is using Directory Bind and bind the target directory to a directory on the internal sd. On my phone, that temporary is not working at all. Anyone experiencing the same issue or have come up with another workaround?
This is only a pet peeve because I enjoy listening to music on my phone. It is not a huge deal.
Thanks!
did you update? this has already been fixed no need for directory bind... only issue now is usb mount the computer will only see internal. The music player should see both internal and external now.

weird... it isn't showing my attachments.. but yes! i am updated and I even wiped the old version, cache, data and all just to make sure it was a clean install.
When I said nevermind... I meant the thumbnail attachments, not my music and pictures. Doh... sorry about the confusion

Well that's the other thing... in file explorer I can click the pulldown and see "two" SD card directories; one that is my internal and one the is my external. Yet, for some reason the music app and gallery will not scan it.

You put .nomedia files anywhere to get rid of the media scanner bug? Because that sounds like the issue.

So I'm using online nandroid app and when I black up it seems to save in the cwm folder on my internal hd. Is there a way to get these to save onto my external 64gig micro sd?

Some pictures save on the Internal SD storage. Not sure where you're looking or what you're looking at. When you say you have pictures saved on the card, were these pictures you took with the camera or transferred to the external sd card from a message or social media site? Are you seeing this from settings>storage>sd card? Need a little more information before any one can actually help.
All my pictures are save to the sd card, on the noticie bar it has a micro sd card with a! Mark on it
