Hi guys!
I recently went back to Gingerbread (TrueAncestor). Before, I was using Markphyton's ICS rom which had the Xperia S Album app that I really liked!
Now I hate the stock GB gallery app, so I am looking for any alternatives. I have found QuickPic which is good enough, but are there any better ones?
How about gallery ics u can find it on the market

Im sure you can try it on that one. But it was released with 4.0.4 Xperia S ICS. Not sure if earlier versions will work with it.

tested & working fine on my SGS2, running Omega v14 ICS (v4.0.3). I really like how you can shuffle the images about to view them, saves me from having to open all the time. Many thanks

Hi, it's not a port really. I just extracted it and tried some apps on my S2 from the Xperia S ICS.

can anyone provide the 3d gallery from touchwiz roms that would work on cm9/aokp roms ?
i am asking because i am unable to play hd movies straight from the gallery !
you can download gallery 3d from the market. but I'd suggest quickpic it plays just about any video file and looks a lot nicer IMO

Hi all im using p.a.c rom on xperia s jb.Rom is excellent but i dont like launchers like nova,apex provided.I like the stock launcher.Although i tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2021332 but this launcher was fine on ics but scrolling in jb in app drawer is lagging very much.
Rest all xperia launchers ive tried failed to install whether it is for jb recently launched by sony.I also tried in system app by changing permissions.
Any solutions Plz

Download. Extract. Copy and paste the apps to system/app. Set permissions to rw-r-r for all and reboot (maybe even wipe cache and dvalik)
No guarantees tho!

I used this recently on a HD2 PA rom as it supported hybrid mode. Works great to with a ton of options.

Dont you face such type of problem.Although ive given enough time hoping it to become smooth.Its like u have to drag the app drawer screen to move to other screen

Nope mine is really fast. I put another flashable zip in the themes and apps section with more widgets in too. But works spot on for me.

I am on UHD Rom 2.0.3 and have installed the new Z launcher via cwm.
Well, the layout of the launcher is very cool, but it laggs very hard in homescreen and app drawer.
What should I do to get it smooth?

Buy a new phone. But seriously, how much of free ram do you have? You can always try to overclock or flash JB adreno drivers it helped me a lot when I used stock ICS. If none of these helped then you can only wait for some better answers...

Download UHD rom and extract launcher app from there.

no, there's no option for SD Card and max resolution just 8MP.

Is there a way to change the default camera app? When I click on camera in gallery, it asks which camera app to use. But from lockscreen and by pressing the camera button it always runs the old app (CM10). Rather a CM issue, but maybe you know how to set it. Thanks

Yes. Delete the cm gallery apk from /system/apps then install this one normally. Should work fine after a reboot
Running unofficial cm10.1 on my Xperia SL , don't see why the same wouldn't work for you.

Hmm. It could be edited from the source, but you'd need someone with experience as well as time to do it. I have the skill, but not the time :/
