Spotify and AOKP - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi guys,
I recently flashed AOKP JB (the official one, I believe, not Euroskank) but cant get Spotify to work on it. The app opens but wont show anything, it just stays blank. I can even open the sidebar-tab-thing but it is also blank. Does anyone else have the same problem or am I alone with this one?
I really like AOKP due to the features it is offering and would not want to go back to rooted stock or any other ROM but I also like to use Spotify every now and then which I now seem to be unable to do. Any fix (other than I already mentioned) would be very welcome. I am also using Trinity kernel if that helps.
Thanks in advance for everyone who at least tries to help!

Why does my phone always crash....

Every time I root my phone install custom ROMS or Kernels it will always Crash or reboot it self every time. I have tried unrooting the device several times I also tried Tried very popular ROMs like AOKP & CM and still they end up crashing within a day of use. I don't know what I am doing wrong here... I assumed it was the phone so I called Verizon to send me a replacement one but if anyone knows why this is only happening to me and not all the rest of my friends even Fiance then please let me know....
At the moment I am on stock ROM and Stock Kernel and still rebooting and crashing every time and its rooted so if anyone has any idea please let me know i am about to give me on this Phone....
P.S. If you have recommendations on ROMS or Kernels I can try besides Franco or Trinity that will be great, I also tried them and also the same problem
My gnex has recently started to do this as well. I think its an overheating issue because it'll "crash" when it feels really hot.

[Q] No MMS Notifications Sound?

Greetings once again,
I am using GO SMS Pro and for some reason when I get an MMS I get no notification sound and no vibration. The screen will pop on, but I get no other notification. I tried disabling GO SMS and using the native Messaging app, but it still persists.
Anyone know what this issue is?
I dont know if this is carrier specific. I dont know what service you use but I have a Verizon Galaxy Nexus, rooted, custom ROM and all. I have had this problem before. On CM 10.1, I never had this issue. On a couple others I did which made me switch back to CM. I would get a notification (vibration, light) but when I turned the screen on, there was nothing there. Or I just would not get other peoples texts all together. I dont know what the issue is though or what causes it.

I am on Verizon as well, rooted, running AOKP. I have been on AOKP for a long time and I used to not have this issue at all.

Yeah, the ROMs I used that had that issue were AOKP based. Carbon Rom and JBSorcery. Both started having this issue. Although, Carbon ROM was fine when I first started using it. But like I said, I have never had that issue with CM so I dont know if its a ROM problem or what. I cant explain it. Thats what always kept me going back to CM.
Ive been having the same issue, I think I first noticed it after I went to 4.2 (aokp)

I've never had this problem before. I'm having it on Carbon ROM nightlies right now. I've even tried re-applying the sounds, choosing different sounds, and re-flashing the ROM or another nightly and I still have the same problem. What gives?!?!

[Q] Chaos Rings Not Working?

I haven't played Chaos Rings in a few months, however I have been keeping up with ROM and kernel development in this time and although it used to work fine for me a few months ago, now once it performs its file check and asks for me to click on the screen, it will just crash when I touch the screen. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this? If it's ROM or kernel related, can you also try and offer some suggestions for what I can do to fix it? Thank you!
I have the same problem. For me it happened when I updated my Nexus from Paranoid Android from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2. Tried to use Titanium Backup as well as fresh install and both didn't work.
Any other ideas what may be causing this?

[Q] Graphic glitches and other problems

So I've been having a bit of trouble with my t989 lately, when I try unlocking the phone I will either get a black screen (the lock screen will appear for a split second before going blank if I hit the lock button again) or it won't track my finger movements on the screen. If I manage to unlock the device I end up seeing numerous graphic glitches ranging from the bar at the top w/ the clock/battery meter just gone and the keyboard not working.
I'm runing CM9.0.0 because I had issues with 10.2 (battery wouldn't charge) and 10.1.3 (similar to my lock screen issues but not as severe, still agitating) and also 9.1 which had the same exact issues as I'm having now. I've tried installing with different gapps but the same thing happens. The phone will work for a day or two, then the glitches come. After resetting, everything is normal for a day or so, then it's normal a few hours, etc. The time is getting narrower between reboots and it's a bit frustrating.
Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong, if anything? I flash via twrp and wipe, then install the rom, then install gapps, then reboot, wait 20min, reboot, and go about my business w/ the setup and such. I would be fine going back to 10.1.3 but jellybean roms and snapchat don't really like to work together on this phone for some reason. It's really the only app I use because it seems like the only way my friends want to communicate nowadays, so I'd prefer to stay on ics if possible...
If anyone can give any insight I'd really appreciate it

Have you tried using Odin to flash back to stock? That is usually the recommended step if you are having problems with custom ROMs.
And the newest stock is 4.1.2, so at least you wouldn't have to be on ICS.

I'll give that a try. Odin is just the program used to root originally, correct? Also, I want to stay on ICS if possible. So after doing that I'm going to try CM9 again and see how that works.
Anyway, the past few days I've been using AOKP mr2 milestone 1 and it's been okay. For some reason the battery life is bad even with juice defender and a task killer taking care of things. In a matter of minutes after clearing tasks I'm down from ~350mb of ram free to 60. Is that normal with that rom?
I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'm not the best with technology but i figured i was smart enough to figure this out...
bump.
I still haven't tried flashing w/ odin yet. Does anyone know where I can find a gingerbread stock rom? I've been looking for a while and can only find the jellybean one. Since I want to stay on ICS what I want to do is go from gingerbread and up to that rather than downgrading from the jellybean stock rom if that makes sense.

[Q] Problem with 4.4 aokp rom

Hi, I'm new too this site, but do have a little experience flashing custom ROMs. I recently purchased a note ii from T-Mobile, and ended up flashing the AOKP 4.4 ROM, I believe it is under original android development. The majority of the ROM works perfect, but I'm having a problem with audio. Every time I use Google now, and have headphones plugged in, the audio will quit working for music after word and I have to reboot the phone to fix it. I'm not sure if anyone has experienced anything like this? Thanks for any help in advance!

Because that's a ROM specific issue, I suggest looking through the ROM's thread. A quick glance and the last few pages shows all kinds of audio issues.
