[Q] Franco Kernel, Stock ROM, No increase in sound?

I'm trying to increase the volume of my ringtone/speaker. I installed the Franco Kernel milestone 6, and downloaded the updater app and have my sound boost set to 3, however I can't tell any different. I tested by setting it to 0, calling my phone, and hearing the ring tone. Then did it again at 3, but there was no difference.
Any suggestions?
Common misconception.
That value only changes headphone volume.
Ohhh ok. Do you have any suggestions about boosting the ringtone volume/speaker volume? I use to use Volume+ but that doesn't work on JB.
Yes, volume is way too low, I'm also looking for a neat solution.
Flash BAMF Paradigm, my speaker cranks it out!
I checked the feature list, no mention of anything related to sound/audio/volume loudness?

I'm sure it does.
Most (all?) custom roms at this point boost the speaker to some extent.

[Q] Kernel for Revolution HD 14.1

I know there might already be an answer to my question but if been searching for 2 hrs and can't find it.
Can anyone point me to a Kernel which can be used with the ROM in the title?

you can use only the stock one, cause the JB kernel's source code hasn't been released yet....

Wouldn't that be listed in Rom details?
I just want to know if my phone is running as it should or not
I have found what was wrong, it was the battery saver app under-clocking the CPU .
Just some info in case anyone else has/had the same question

HTC's ****
i actually find the power saving feature more power consuming(aside from brightness and vibration), i think it causes all processors to start up at lower frequency rather than 1 cpu at high frequency.

Yes I did notice that too, in fact I'm not using it anymore, I just do everything manually instead.
I've got another question about this rom, is it normal that the wallpaper isn't scrolling when I scroll through the home screens?

Increase headphone volume

On my s3 there was a rom that let you increase the volume of the headset, i know this can be done via notepad but i have more faith in kernels than my editing skills.
Is there any roms avail with the option?
Hi,
One solution is to flash another kernel that supports increasing headset volume over Stweaks.
I personally used OMEGA ROM (kitchen.indieroms.net) with Perseus Kernel ( you will find it using "Omega Files") . Then you can install "Stweaks". Both OMegaFiles and Stweaks are available in PlayStore.
Some other roms are already tweaked with these options. Check The forum to find another one.
Opening Stweaks, you will then have all options to amplify headset volume. Works like a charm !
Hope that helps

Thanks but I've already done this.
Thanks a lot, but I've already applied this mod. I want to increase it even further.
What are the extreme values which speaker and earpiece can support? Because I know that 63 is the maximum value which phone allows. 64 will turn off the audio for the speaker's safety. But then again, A1F1 boost volume mod can be applied which will further increase the output. So is there anything to do after A1F1 boost settings?

Look the post in my sig.. I have a link for the thread of the sound mod above under mods. The second post has the "extreme" version of the mod. One word of advice, it wont work if there are any other sound mods installed.
Already done this!

I know what you're talking about.

I've already tried this! I said that in my previous post too. I've tried the extreme method too. The guy says that he has changed A1F1 boost volume to 55.55(max), but I've even tried 150. It works. I'm asking something else.
Thanks anyways.
look for sound volume hack
its the only one that I use

[Solved] Audio Stutter on Android 4.4+

Whenever I upgrade my LG e980 from Android 4.3 to any ROM running Android 4.4.2 my audio skips in all applications it does this frequently. This problem does not happen in any ROM running Android 4.3, I don't know what is causing the problem any help on this matter would be appreciated.
Never mind might have fixed my problem with the audio stutter, after I changed the CPU governor from ondemand to performance and the memory setting from cfq to row the audio stutter hasn't come back.

I don't know if this can be done without root, you can change these settings in the performance tab of settings.
And which app settings are we talking about?

It is the system settings not app settings, the screenshot shows where the performance option should be of course since I running a Custom ROM it says Performance control instead of performance.http://imgur.com/Q7k9kAv
