[Q] Asecend P6 / Honor3

I visit china and I bought a Huawei Honor 3. In the store they told me that the language settings were Chinese and English. What they showed me was also in English. Back home I discovered that the phone is English but Chinese English. So a lot of text is English but a lot of text is Chinese and I believe I have also some restrictions on the download of apps.
In the store they told me that this phone is the same as a Asecend P6 and if I boot the phone I get a Asecend message.
Details:
Model number: HN-U01
CPU: quad 1,5ghz
Android: 4.2.2
Emotion UI 1.6
baseband version:imc1202_penta
kernel version: 3.0.8-00829-g59c9c87 [email protected]#1
build number: HN3-u01v100r001chnc00b113
What is the best think to do? I want nothing special so is it possible to load a standard P6 rom on the phone suitable for Europe?
I hope there is a simple solution,

ascend p6 and honor 3 are two completely different cell phones

problem solved
I solved my problem via the android SDK

The kernel and build number is different from P6.
From hardware point, besides the camera and battery, there is no difference. you should send query to Huawei officials.

That is not goog idea, probably you will brick your phone.

What did you do. I just bought one, and while its all working fine, i was curious what options i haven't found a suitable rom.

[Q] Adding languages

Hi there,
i have purchased a Canadian version of the Galaxy TAB S 10.5 (16gb Wi-Fi only). Is there any possibility to add or unlock other languages (e.g. german) in system? All information i got, was about rooting the device and downloading an app like "more locale 2" or "language enabler". But i don't know if this works with the Galaxy TAB S. Are there any experiences with this device until now?

Maybe you could flash another region of Galaxy Tab S Rom with Odin... but it is at your own risk !

You should flash your tab s to hong kong's rom. you can get the roms on sammobile/firmware. just google it

I have a US model T-807T and need to add Bosnian. Issue is I think it uses different processor than overseas models so I cant flash another rom

Hello guys!
A few days ago , tried to upgrade the software of my device, manually via microsd card, using the dload method.
I got a softbrick.
I tried many roms for Honor 9X STK-LX1 (C431) but none worked.
After many attempts, i installed the latest official firmware Emui 10 with Android 10 ( STK-L21HN -10.0.0212), and the device is functional now, but with many bugs.
1) The logo screen has change from previus "HONOR 9X" to "HUAWEI".
2) The new rom is installed without a keybord. So It's difficult for me to setup the new rom.
3) In ----> Settings---->telephone information---->the model seems as "unknown " and
4) In----> Settings----->telephone information---->publication number----> "Error: /preas/ xxx not found in/hw_product/hw_oem/STK-L21HN/parent_cust.cfg"
Do you know what these errors mean and how to fix???

With the help of @oslo83, we managed to make the device functional.
Now it works like a charm.
It was not easy at all and oslo83 tried
very much.

I would upgrade my Honor 9x (STK-L21HN 9.1.0.334) to emui 10 (10.0.0.212).
 @oslo83: Can you explain to me what I have to do for that or may you help me to do?

It's about upgrading to a correct LGRPx base for your device, while upgrading correct emui10 cust and preload.

Hello can you help me to my Honor 20? its also display in my build number "Error: /preas/xxx not found in /product/hw_oem/L61/parent_cust.cfg" i willing to pay to solve this

I have the same errors with an Huawei P20 Lite (ANE-LX2) region spceas changed to eu via DC-Unlocker
Now is on this firmware:
HUAWEI ANE-LX2 9.1.0.209(C636) YAZILIM ilsasupport.com
- Installed without a keyboard. Solved downloading microsoft swiftkey from appgallery.
- Model is ANE, not ANE-LX2
- Build is: "Error: /preas/ xxx not found in/product/hw_oem/LX1/parent_cust.cfg"
This is not a big problem for me now, because all works ok, is rooted, I can use, call and play well with it. But I'm curious about what is the problem and how to solve it.

Install an other firmware, one which is right for your device's variant hardware.

bruh i have honor 9x pro global version and i downgraded my software to emui 9.1.1.131 but i'm getting chinese keyboard and everthing is crashing there is no browser and all could you pls help me to download the correct firmware for my device i did by dload method but now if i try to update emui it shows incompatible for this version and sometimes software install failed can u pls help if u help me i would be very grateful so pls..

So, after investigations on device, a chinese base was flashed by offline dload on this branded overseas device.
Here why the problems. Force flashing a correct base for actual branded model and region would fix.

I'm new here, and i have a question regarding buying a poco f3, that i hope you'll help me with.
i want to buy the phone on a german webshop which says that it's having a global rom and that it is not region locked..
Will i be able to use the phone in Denmark and is it possible to install danish language with the global rom?? Or will i have to root it?? because im new to the xiaomi phones, and i would very much like not to tamper with the phone??

Everything is updated out of the box, I did not do root

Anyone know how long it will be updated ?? Android 12?
How about miui 12.5?? heard that it will bring new features

NO risk if labelled POCO F3.
Global worldwide standard EURO one included.

There is a case to change version from global to EEA without losing the device warranty? 'Poco F3'

Hello, Im new and just looking for help,
Got the iqoo neo3 for the specs but did not realized that the OS is in Chinese. Does anyone have any suggestion on how to run stock android 11 or remove the Origin OS. Is there a stock ROM that is in English? Like a Origin Os in English? Any comments would be appreciated
