I would venture to say that the OEM ones are generally a little bit better quality (sometimes a whole lot better) than the 3rd party eBay ones. However, it really depends how picky on details you are with a case.
If you want something that is "good enough" than the eBay case is probably fine, but if you are a stickler for flush casing, perfect lines, etc. - then OEM is probably a better way.
Samsung's is Carbon Fiber, Ebay is just fiber.
I went with Samsung's.

$23ish (Tax/Shipping) for a case or blow $5/mo plus a $125 deductible on Insurance??? Kindof no brainer to me. Dropping your phone is 95% of the ways you'll damage it and, this covers it.
I also wouldn't worry about the OEM case harming the OEM phone, it's probably got some rubberized texture on the inside.
Would love to hear some reviews on this case.

It says free flat USPS when you do not enter your state/city/zip. Once you enter those it will show your shipping.
oh ok that makes sense. but i completed the order and it had all my correct info. anyway, maybe it was a fluke.
Just placed an order. Hope the quality is a lot better than my crappy Incipio case.

I don't know, I ordered an iPod case from ebay five years ago and I'm still using it. It was only seven dollars but has lasted a long time. It fits good as well. I think some of the cases on ebay may be bad but some can be very good. IMO that one on ebay looks like a good case. I even thought about buying it.
I'd like to see some better pictures of the Samsung case.

If you order through Otterbox, you may have to call in, their servers have been crashing.
If you need a case soon or now you may be better off going with the Trident Cyclops or Seidio Rugged. However, I do not suggest the Seidio Rugged as I have 2 and they're both falling apart. The upgraded/seperate screen protector is necessary on the Cyclops. The Ballistic cases may be released this month as well.

That's weird. From my point of view, the link I gave does go to the 26.99 version. I'll just chalk it up to some crazy property about Amazon's site. As long as you found it. Actually..I believe Amazon moved it to a different page just that quick.

I wasn't happy with my Seidio Rugged holster, but I don't use the holster much anyhow...but I would like a good one, it would be nice to carry at work.

the only thing i didnt like about the rugged was the opening for the usb port. i did cut it and it works well.. of course it doesnt look like it came that way since i did cut it and its not smooth but it works well..
i have the rugged away but im using the active now... out of all thats out there now with a holster, i think sedio is the best ( IMO)
like i said, i would like to see the otter box before i get it. i just wish it had a clip on the top like the sedio holster has. just feels more secure

I accidentally ripped off that usb port, my wife also accidentally ripped the headset jack area off. That plastic on the Seidio Rugged is just way too thin.
I snapped the top of my holster off, the design didn't work for me...but take that with a grain of salt, cause if it's breakable, I'll break it.

I still haven t been charged yet and I think it's been 48 hours, so I'm guessing they don't charge until it ships. I went ahead and got the 30 day Prime trial so I'm getting mine overnighted for $30 shipped, not too bad!
Ordered off Amazon. For the price you can't beat it. Hopefully it comes sooner than later.

There have been mixed reviews of these cases, but I have one and am really happy with it. Not a lot of options out there for us, and so this is one of the best right now.

I still think the one that tmobile offers with the kickstand in the store is pretty awesome. The kickstand is invaluable and I get a lot of jealous people wanting it. Some people complain about it scratching the phone but i don't take it off that much and it hasn't scratched mine at all. It gets two thumbs up for me.
Let me say DO NOT BUY it I paid $50 when it come out for the Innocase combo (case+holster) and the case is cheaply built and way overpriced it also creaking on the side when you grip it tightly, which gets annoying. But the holster is great fit. So if the noise does not bother you go with it but I think for that price you should look else where for solid product.

Got a couple of emails today from UAG about purchasing some cases for Father's day and not a single discount anywhere.
hi, the only discounts you can get is 5% or 10%, just sign up and add a case to the basket, then wait one or two days and they will send you the discount.
If you clear out all your browser history, visit the UAG site, look for the pop up and they will email you a 15% off code for entering your email address.
