[BOOTAnimation] ICS4 for Galaxy S / S+ (Update 28/02/2012)

This is my first bootanimation, it will come more...
ICS4 Minimal v0.2 Installation
1) Download the file
2) Rename it to bootanimation.zip
3) Copy it to phone memory /data/local/ and system/media (replace file's)
4) Reboot

Not Right ?
tyvm id.goPLAY, Not too sure if you can help me out, apparently I don't have enough room in system/media ? But when I rebooted something very different shows up as a bootanimation ? It looks like digitized "ANDROID" logo flashing, best way I can describe it. I am using RC4.2 & had the ICS stock bootanimation before.

Looks great, but...it could use a bit more punch without overdoing it.

I try to make it that u can install it from Recovery like lippos94 bootanimation, but i dont know how?!

Its too big, try to strip it down pls. Shouldn't be very difficult if u loop it .

I made a flashable zip and some small changes in desc.txt (makes the zip smaller + infinite loop ).

Very beautiful animation. With the one you did for semaphore, it's great. But both are too long, about 30 seconds each. Is it possible to have one shorter, in order to boot quickly?

I had resize it to 480x800 so that it fits our device , hope you guys enjoy it

This is wrong section and wrong tutorial, since when bootanimation is in data local? Rename it to bootanimation.zip and push to system- media. Permission rwrr. I just tried on my cm9 and works!

I like it...
But its bad that there is no flashable zip for AOSP for the Owl Edition...
I did it on my own with push to system/media/ but its a bit complicated.. :/
Nevermind, its really cool, keep going with making bootanimations!

@cisza Hey can you remove the flower part from the end of the Owl boot animation so it will loop on the Owl when it's snowing? That would be awesome. I like the flower, but the looping would be more appropriate on the Owl I think - it looks awesome.

HOW TO INSTALL BOOT ANIMATIONS
ROOT ACCESS NEEDED
1. Download root explorer ( Es file explorer will be better)
2. Enable root explorer, then go to system/media your current boot animation will be there. rename it to bootanimation.zip.bak ( we'll use it as a backup) or use an app called bootbox to make a flashable boot animation backup
3' Go to the directory where you have Downloaded the boot animation, rename it to bootanimation.zip and then paste it to system/media, then go to properties and change it perrmission to rw-r-r.
4. Reboot and Enjoy!
