This is a matte protector, so it will be good for the purpose, but over time it will be more matte, so after 3-6 months it needs to be replaced, but given the usage you mentioned, that will not be a problem.
I think even a whole-body covering case will be necessery for that use .

Quote from site:
The invisibleSHIELD™ is made from a film originally created to protect military helicopter blades. The technology was specifically designed to withstand the toughest abrasions. We thought you might need the same protection for all your digital devices, so we created the invisibleSHIELD™ to withstand the heavy beatings you put on all your gadgets. So now you can keep your handheld devices and electronic gear looking as good as the day you bought them.
No matter how careful you are, without protection, your screen will get scratched. It's just one of life's problems. All it takes is one piece of dust so small you can't even see it - it get's stuck between two moving surfaces - and your screen is scratched. We’ve designed our invisibleSHIELD™ to fit any gadget you can think of, including iPods, MP3 players, cell phones, PDAs, and laptops. Our scratch proof invisibleSHIELD™ also comes with a lifetime guarantee. So if it ever scratches or peels off, we’ll replace it.

i am not able to find flip open pouches is anybody using them?
i am using the invisible shield from ZAGG and i think its very good for protecting the whole device.
i ordered it with the Full Body Maximum Coverage option directly from zagg.com and it fits perfectly on my galaxy 3
the shipping costs to germany were very low ($3,49) and it took only 7 days until i could hold it in my hands
I contacted the Samsung customer care and inquired whether i need a scratch guard for my galaxy 3 screen.. they said that the screen is anti scratch and dnt use any stylus on the screen...
its been three months I've been using this awesome phone and still there is no trace of any scratch on the screen..
I got mines from Telus(canadian service provider). Its in an asian mall so they knew where to get screen protectors for any phones.
I also got mine from telus and I have the skin, the holster, ordered the zagg max protection. But I'm really pissed that they dont have an otterbox defender for this model!!!!!

[Q] best protection for i5801

Hi,
I've been searching the internet for a decent screen cover for the i5801. I came across these:
Vikuiti ADQ27
Vikuiti CV8
Invisible Shield -> for 5800, so will it fit nicely?
I'd want the phone as protected as possible, so I don't really mind a higher price if the quality is worth it. But basically it all looks the same to me
What should I get and why? All suggestions are welcome!
Thank you very much
so nobody knows some very good screen cover or so for the i5801 specifically?
I'll prolly just go for the cheapest stuff then... 2€ for 6 of em. Read about it that there is almost no difference between the protection anyways.
I have a mirror screen protection for me gt-i5800 its a good wan.
Sent from my GT-I5800 using XDA App
I bought from ebay. Search there. There are always goof stuff that anyone can afford.
Ye I eventually bought a black silicone case +1 screen cover from cheapgadget store on ebay. It was 3,5€ with shipping incl. Ill let u know how it is when I get my phone and case
Sometimes cheap screen covers are really hard to apply so buy a bundle pack or a few

Hi,
So I got my phone today and applied the cover and case. I've got no complains at all. Things went very smooth! I can only recommend the vendor: fast and clean delivery, nice package.
About the package: the silicone case fits nicely and feels durable enough. It has the holes for cables on the right spot.
The screen cover was applied easily by following these instructions:

Just look them up on google, and see where they are cheapest (ebaystores probably)
I bought none of those. I bought the cheapest case I could find and 2 screenguards, and I've got nog complaints (read my other posts)
Do we actually need a scratch guard for our phones? Or can we do without one? :\
It may have a scratch resistant screen but it's not unvulnerable.
I use a cheap protector(cut for sg3) and a gray gel case. Baught from ebay for about 3$.
Everyone who saw my phone can't figure out that there is a case!

[Q] Best screen protector for me?

I asked in another thread about invisibleSHEILD but Im seeing after different opinions, that there are various others offering the same protection at different prices.
Im going to be using a HTC Desire Z. Its "environment" will most likely be sliding in and out of my pocket and inside of my hoodies' pockets so yes, there will be lint around it. I dont want to use a case as it looks horrible and adds too much thickness to be in my pocket in a comfortable way. The "orange peel effect" is something I believe Im not going to mind. Im going for full body protection so keep that in mind as Ive read some full body protections cover more or less...
Ive pretty much slimmed it down to 5 but I might have missed some so vote Other, say which, and Ill add it to the poll
So which do you think is the best protection for me?
Also, thanks to everyone who is helping out. I truely appreciate it
Can't change the poll? Wanted to add Skinomi.
I am wondering the same thing. I have a Vibrant and want to figure out what a good protective sheild would be. This case is nice but I'd love to carry it without one and not have to worry too much.

Same situation it seems
If you vote, please state why and your expirences if any with others. Thanks once again
So little votes...
Went ahead with the invisibleSHIELD. There was a 50% discount and you just have to take advantage on that
Thanks to all once more for the advice
Now finally, onto the HTC Desire Z (Ill come back problably asking for help on ROM flashing too )
Just recieved and installed the invisibleSHIELD. ZAGG just recieved this email from me:
Totally unacceptable: Last time I’m buying from ZAGG
My purchase for a invisibleSHIELD from you has been horrible since the beginning. First time around, the order button was broken on your webpage and I have to contact you to fix it. I ordered my invisibleSHIELD on 5/5/2011 and it shipped the next day. I sent you guys a email about my order and I’m STILL waiting for a reply. It arrived 5/18/2011; I’ve been shipped things quicker from the United States and Asia but fine. I receive the package (from Germany, why???) and first thing is that the box is semi crushed and not what I would expect from a company. Next thing, the solution bottle you guys send is unscrewed and naturally the solution spilled. I was stuck without a solution and I had to make do (because I’m not reordering paying a dime for you and waiting another 13 days) with soap and water. Next I find that some of the parts are actually already unstuck to the paper so I had to even put MORE effort in installing. I installed the shield today (again after the experience not worth it even if it protects from everything as there are companies that do the same thing).
Basically, no customer care, horrible package protection, and a product that simply is not worth it. Thankfully, I got a discount you were offering and paid half because this product is worth just that and even less.
I’m not recommending this to anyone; I prefer they try other products such as Best Skins Only which actually gives a decent price for the products.
Yea i also want to know which best screen protector i have to use ?
invisibleshield hands down.
From now on, BestSkinsEver; period. They are the only protectors I will use. Cheap, fast shipping, and great protection.
Zaggs are the best u ever feel on those?
Sent from my Arc using XDA premium App
I got an invisibleshield installed in a local store so luckily, I did not have any problem with it. I just did not experience installing it first hand which looks kind of exciting though the pressure.
I have some problems with it though. The small parts that cover the round edges seem to be peeling away and accumulating some dust or cotton, as I reckon from my pocket which annoys me. They said that I could get a new one but I have to ship the whole thing, so does that men I am going to be left with no protector until it gets shipped to my address? Not really an option if you ask me.

Agree, I've bought a a screen protector once which was full of scratches within a month or so.
I use a screen protector from xoskins on a lot of my stuff. They are uv coated so they don't turn yellow, resist finger prints, and do not feel like a rubbery orange peel.
Sorry you've had such a bad experience with Zagg. I've never had an issue with them myself. The screen protectors have worked very well for me and I've put them on something like eight devices. I'd still recommend them to anyone.
Best buy screen protectors
I hate paying the price at Best Buy, but their sales rep(s) are really good at applying the protector.

I would stay away from invisibleSHIELD unless you have the patience to install it or pay someone else to install it. My bro used it on his Evo 4G and for the price it was not all that good. I have been using ReaLook for my Epic 4G and it is very good and offers great protection
I use invisibleSHIELD protects good and installation was simple.Like other poster said it's peeling on corners and edges but I change my case a lot so that contributes.

Hey
what is this Bestskinzever you talking about? is that a skin protector company?
i already ordered the case now i need skin protector
what you think about
xtremeguard?
zagg?
I would buy SGP personally, as they have a really good reputation and I, personally, abhor wet installation screen protectors. I got a XtremeGuard one for my Nexus 7 and ended up returning it because it was so grippy and ugly.
