Transparent Status bar in CM10 - Galaxy S III Themes and Apps

Is it possible to make the status bar in Galaxy S3 CM10 100% transparent? Especially the one in the lock screen.
Thanks to all in advance

bump +1
looking for this also.

You would have to pull the theme manager theme of choice out and change the statusbar_background.9.png to a transparent color.
So for SystemUI(using winRAR):double click on the .zip to open it
double click on system ->app -> SystemUI.apk to open it
click on res
pull drawable-hdpi to your desktop
find statusbar_background.9.png and open it with your editor of choice that has transparency ability i.e paint.net, photoshop
make the bar transparent, save it
drop the file back in the drawable-hdpi folder of the SystemUI apk
when the little window pops up to say would you like to blah blah blah click yes
Now its themed

In there I only see
stat_bgoff.9
stat_bgon.9
stat_bgon_custom.9
stat_inner_focus.9
stat_inner_press.9
I've looked at all those and none of them look like a bar, just little squares/rectangles with blue on them
and the custom one which maybe it?

Run Root Explorer, search the file, copy and replace apk, in System/apps.
In Mount R/O mode
weather widget works great but the clock doesn't work on XXKG2 actually it doesn't show up in the add widgets sections. (P.S. I removed the widgets first and added via rootexplorer)
Sorry. Give me your digital clock apk (XXKG2).
thanks man,
it's very cool
You're welcome!
Many thx, the background being transparent actually solves the problem when adding the weather widget in any nontouchwiz launcher! Great idea!

[OFFERING] Nordpolcampers Taskbar Icons

Hi Guys,
I once themed for Windows Mobile and have a lot of leftover image files, which are currently unused.
And since I am new to customizing Android I thought, why not share some of my stuff with you, so that you can use them in Themes or whatever you like.
For today I do have Taskbar icons, which I made all by myself in different variations.
This is a Preview:

}
All those different styles are in the PSD . The Icon Size is 128x128 so it should be big enough for whatever you want it to use for^^
I tried to make the PSD as organized as possible and of course you can variate them quite a lot, so plz dont think that what you see in the preview is all that is possible.
You can download the PSD here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?ceou7b9ijwdnph7
I hope you like it and if you do, plz press the "Thanks"-Button and if you use my stuff in Themes or in Roms you created, plz give some credit^^

Great stuff there

I believe he's just providing the PSD and you can do what you want with them. You could easily change the color in Photoshop.

I am not that experienced, too, but you would need to extract your the systemUI.apk from your current rom and replace the images with the ones from the PSD. Names and sizes need to be the same.
Then just push it on your phone and they should be changed, but again, I dont really know much about it^^

any of them. I just wanna be able to change the icons to my own liking (like something pinkish lol)
You can use a launcher to use icon sets such like Go Launcher, or you can use Desktop Visualizer to change each icon one by one.

It's definitely in the launcher.apk when I was using the TW launcher I changed it. I just forget where exactly it is but I know for sure it's in there
OK so I found the files. They are located in the system/app/secLauncher2.apk/res/drawable-xhdbi
They are called
Ic_allapps.png
Ic_allapps_pressed.png
OK so me like a dummy forgot to copy them before I changed them and I messed something up. Anyone out there feel like sending me the default png?

[Q] How do I theme icons?

I didn't know if this went to the theme section or question, so I'll leave it here.
How can I theme the stock app icons (messaging, phone, contacts, media player, etc) on a deodexed touchwiz ROM?
Note: I mean actually changing the icon. Not using an app from the play store. Going in and making it the default icon.
